He asked that I text him the moving addresses so he would have them in his phone. He worked with me on the time of the move and was considerate when I had to change the time. On the day of the move, he called to make sure there were no changes and to let me know that they would be at the moving sight on time. He and his 2 helpers arrived a little early and took inventory. They explained how they would proceed and went to work. They were very careful moving items and nothing was broken. They provided blankets and other items when needed. These guys wrapped and secured everything with a level of care you just don't see anymore. Honestly, I wish I had taken pictures -- the way they packed and protected each piece was incredible. You could've turned the trailer upside down and nothing would've shifted. That's how solid their work was. We had to take some very narrow, rough back roads to get to my place -- ruts, tight shoulders, barely enough room for a car and a trailer side-by-side. I was nervous at first, but the driver handled it like a true professional. Not once did I feel like my belongings were at risk. Everything arrived in perfect condition, not a scratch, not a scuff, nothing loose. They worked hard, stayed polite the whole time, and treated my move like it actually mattered. All the pieces were separately wrapped and carefully put in the truck. They drove from Chesapeake to Hampton in pouring rain, fog and terrible afternoon traffic. It's hard to find someone for just a one-item transport instead of a house move. They provided a reasonable price and were able to do the job the next day, giving the estimated 2-hour time window. The next day, they called and, as I had requested, gave us 30 minutes advance notice when they were on the way, which was during the time window. For the move, they handled the item carefully and did a great job. (They do larger moves and further distances.) It was great to find someone to handle a small job. I would use them again.
