The building is well constructed, not some outdoor, garage-looking storage facility. There are push carts available right when you walk in to help shuffle things to and from your unit. The elevator (if you have an upper unit) is large and always working. And setting up my account was easy. The front desk is always very polite, and always prompt in resolving any issues you have. One of the light bulbs in my unit went out. They had it replaced within the hour. There was an accidental charge to my card. A short and simple conversation later, my card was refunded. I recommend checking this place out if you need to store your stuff.

The facility said needs to charge the mandatory coverage regardless. I never agreed to this, therefore did not sign the paperwork.

Junk cars, people living in their RV, weeds the size of saplings, trash, condoms, holes cut in the security fencing, vehicles on fire in the enclosed lot, poor lighting, nobody in the office to talk to if you have a question or complaint. When you do bring up concerns you are dismissed or at best promised the issue is being taken care of. Our RV has already been hit once but since the security cameras don't work half the time, nothing gets done. Every 6-8 months there is a price increase; the first 2 were without notice. I feel sorry for the multiple businesses being ran out of this place. You set up your space, get clients and you either have to endure the rate increases as the property goes downhill or move and start all over in another location. They need to do better. Please go buy some weed killer and walk your property.

This storage facility has been really good to me. The employees that work in particularly at this storage unit have been so tremendously helpful with my situation. They are very professional and made me feel important. I was treated not just like a customer but a friend. I was supposed to be moving to Hawaii. My Husband had transferred my name under the storage unit so I could get it cleared out for him and have our storage items shipped off eventually. I was in shock of how much I was paying monthly for all this junk I needed to clear out of the storage unit. Stuff work kept in here for a year and the price rates went up. They helped me figure a plan to lighten the load. With the help of Danielle and Dana who worked in this facility they have made my transition with clearing out my storage unit so easy. They were even able to help me cut the costs of what I was paying monthly by transferring my unit to a smaller unit. This allowed me to get the first month free and coming out of pocket with less then we were previously paying. Within this transition I decided not to move to Hawaii and kept my storage unit for one more month. They have been really understanding even with getting my locks cut twice on my unit, having misplaced my keys. I didn't have to pay a dime for getting them cut either! I just want to thank the people at public storage for being so friendly and kind, considerate to me. I highly recommend this storage facility! They keep their units clean and secure. Their prices are reasonable. Expect to be given the proper treatment here.

Now I got a notice that they will be raising the rate to $236. When I called them about the rate increase, they said they were allowed to raise rates at any time in any amount they desired. Their operating expenses have not increase that dramatically. They are just greedy and taking advantage of people who have no other recourse. The facility is clean and secured, and so far we've had no issues. The interior gives me Storage Wars vibes and I can imagine my favorite weirdos yelling, "yuuuup" while walking to my unit. They do say the building is temperature controlled but the entire time I end up running to my unit to grab a few items I'm pretty cold. Maybe it's me not being acclimated to Virginia living anymore. The building is pretty clean given its a storage unit. The bathrooms were clean for when I bring my kiddos who just have to try out every bathroom whenever we go to new places. The little note in the bathroom and their advertising letter board always has me in giggles, their puns definitely stick with you for a while after. Though I don't know why someone is flushing vegetables down in a storage unit lol.
