I am active duty military and needed a unit immediately due to a short notice, long deployment. Ruth (staff member) was very helpful and honest. She was patient and expertly recommended different sizes based on my needs and wants. She also explained their military discount, policies and specials. She was a consumate professional. Here's the painful truth: their unit rent prices are competitive but their moving and packing materials are a bit expensive. Overall, I had a great initial experience and got just what I needed. The customer service here was better than it was at the Public Storage or the MiniStorage facilities near by. Need a storage unit and want the down and dirty on recommended sizes and pricing? Stop in and see AAAA. I don't know what the letters stand for but they are AAAA-Ok in my book so far.

The unit they first rented me was so clean you could have eaten off the floor. I quickly outgrew that unit as I was slowly moving out of my house and the process to move from one unit to the next was very smooth, again... very clean unit. The staff of Brittini, Desmond, Tasha, and Kirsten are wonderful and made you feel like family when you came in the office. The one things I really liked about the rental units is in each unit there is a steal brace wall and every unit has a wire type ceiling in it for security. Having rented before from outside units it was nice to know that in all corners of the unit were pest packages to prevent pugs or rodents and I can say I never saw one bug or mouse in the 2 years I rented there. The staff is constantly walking the property and picking up anything a tenant my have left behind. My favorite part is that the units are temperature controlled and even have music so I belongings don't feel lonely sitting in there. Mini Price Storage... you have a wonderful staff at the 1117 Valley Drive location in Norfolk and they deserve recognition. I was sad to have to say goodbye when I finally was able to move. I logged onto the app where it even tells you the code to make sure I had it right. It is 7:40 at night and access hours are till 10PM so there shouldn't be an issue with me getting in. I was hoping to move a lot of things out and drove across town to do so... just very disappointed.
