Despite receiving an e mail stating no lock would be put on it I returned to see a lock on it preventing me from removing the trash. Ive been told I have to keep the unit and continue to pay. I have relocated to another state for the military and will not be paying for july. Now I have a bill due for Aug as well. I have rented several units in my life as I move frequently and this is the worst experience I've ever had. Property manager says basically nothing she can do it's on corporate. CLOSE MY ACCOUNT IMMEDIATLY OR I WILL DO MY PART TO SEE THIS FACILITY IS BLACKLISTED. it's not my problem if I planed to have unit clear by end of month and management took it upon themselves to break policy and place a lock on the unit in order to get some extra money from a customer. When I was finally able to get to my designated spot i discovered that the adjacent trailer is parked partially in my assigned location rendering the spot unusable. The clerk was unable to help except to say come back tomorrow. Ok, so is this Oz? I arrived the following morning, panicked as I was on my way to pick up a trailer & needed to be able to park it asap. The clerk assigned a new spot. Talk about skid row, the area looks like a salvage yard...so much for the requirements that vehicles must be in working order as most had flats. And the 'new' spot has no visible lines or location markers so I had to guess that I was not only in the correct location but that I was not in the adjacent spot. Yeah, not even close to the pictures on the Public Storage website. To top things off, despite the failure of the staff to ensure the original location was usable, I was CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL FEE TO MOVE FROM AN UNUSABLE LOCATION! 0 stars, I prepaid a month but am already looking for a new rental space. Perhaps the 428 location is ok but the 429 annex across the street is terrible!

I arrived around 4:30 pm and the business hours were published online and on the door as open until 5:00 pm which is the reason I booked with them quickly so I could start moving stuff in while I have time off from two jobs. The door had a "closed" sign on it without explanation at 4:30 pm. No one answered the local numbers. I called a corporate number and the first customer service representative hung up the phone. Called a second time and waiting for company response. This company seems unprofessional so far.
