Throughout that entire process, I was in contact to have A Movers take my belongings from the storage unit to my townhome. Due to the other companies negligence, I had to reschedule A Movers THREE times. I was mortified to notify David each time, but he was SO UNDERSTANDING and patient. Milton originally came out to meet us and to provide an estimate, which we greatly appreciated, and it was right on-point at payment time. So important! The packing team was very good; they packed us up quickly and carefully. (While I'm still unpacking, all my breakables are so far in great shape!) They were friendly and professional. The next day, a different team handled the move and these guys worked so so hard! They were also very careful, efficient, and friendly, despite the very steep staircase in our condo. He came the day of the move with two gentlemen and with exceptional care and speed they wrapped my house and moved everything! Subah and Melvin showed up early and got a fix on what was needed to move from storage. They carefully packed the truck with my belongings and were off to my new home. Then the move up a flight of steps was even quicker. Subah is a great leader and had the unpacking organized and coordinated. A ton of motion for a 2 hour job. Bottom line: nothing was damaged, job was done exactly as briefed, and super efficiently. Their quote was quick and accurate. Even though i had some trouble working through Yelp, Jabari was able to solve all the issues and get the job lined up. As much as i despise moving, its a relief knowing that i can work with these folks again on my next move.

On Jan 1st, they informed her that her rate was going up to $231/month. So we decided to buy a shed on our property to store her stuff. It was then Terri, who is the most vile and disrespectful person I've ever encountered, told my elderly mother to get everything, including trash, out by the end of the month or they were going to continue billing her whether she stayed with the unit or not. So when I went to clean the last of the trash out, I inquired with Terri if there was an available dumpster. She then states that I was trespassing on HER property because I "didn't enter a gate code, and followed one of [her] customers in." Aside from that, when we first got the unit, it was in such bad shape. Absolutely filthy, infested with bugs and vermin, some of the units have people living in them (how they can do that, I don't know why, but God bless 'em). This place is absolutely deplorable, and as for Terri, I don't know what happened to her in her life to make her such a toxic, miserable, and disrespectful person, but I believe she's on some heavy drugs for the way she acts and looks. Terri is an awesome example of who you'd want to work with when jumping through the hurdles involved in understanding and working through a storage unit lease. You could tell she could probably help run an airline where customers are always chaotic. She is cool headed and walked me fairly quickly through our temp storage process. A "keeper"!
