The walls were damaged with all types of holes the overhead is completely gross to look up at all type of webs and nests. Coming in to visit my unit there's always mouse droppings on top of my boxes. Plenty of it too. Finally got everything lined up to move out to somewhere climate controlled. Told the office manager about it she wasn't concerned I'm sure because she already knew they had this issue. I wish I could upload an audio file about the office manager she's something else. Don't do it, they're expensive for nothing at all there are a couple climate controlled on the same main street.

But dead rats in my clothes which where in bags on hangers, they where dead the smell so bad, maggots everywhere Gladys the manager was cleaning it up and could barely stand it. I got the city involved and it has been ongoing. They get good reviews to mask and bury the bad and truthful ones. They sweep up the rat poop so tenants and rental prospects will not know. I found out this has been an ongoing problem since 2019. The insurance will mot cover it. The city of norfolk is still doing their due diligence to make them rectify this infestation and it is. Renting from this place is loosing everything you own even if it's for two week. Gladys is untrustworthy. A smile of deceit. And corporate hides behind unsupported regulations on storages ivhad conversation s with them and they actually brag about it. Hardworking people loosing their valuables. I am active duty military and needed a unit immediately due to a short notice, long deployment. Ruth (staff member) was very helpful and honest. She was patient and expertly recommended different sizes based on my needs and wants. She also explained their military discount, policies and specials. She was a consumate professional. Here's the painful truth: their unit rent prices are competitive but their moving and packing materials are a bit expensive. Overall, I had a great initial experience and got just what I needed. The customer service here was better than it was at the Public Storage or the MiniStorage facilities near by. Need a storage unit and want the down and dirty on recommended sizes and pricing? Stop in and see AAAA. I don't know what the letters stand for but they are AAAA-Ok in my book so far.

It's easy in and out with the code and we're able to get in and access our items fairly easily. The only issue is that the road to get to the storage lockers is one-way and small so only one car can fit so you sometimes run into an issue where someone is blocking the road and you can't get to your unit until they move and not everyone is friendly or willing to move/let you by or even speed up whatever they're doing.

It's been a while, so I can't quite remember. She was so sweet! Gave me cookies and soda and basically babied me since I was nervous about driving a huge Uhaul for four hours. When I found out it was a pain to drive, she helped me downgrade with ease. We had to go to another Uhaul location because they didn't have to size we needed, so she made a reservation and the exchange was just that easy.
