This was an Albanian restaurant that still offered some American cuisine so everyone had something to choose from on the menu. I had to try an Albanian dish, so the tried Baked Furghessa Clay and it was divine! The food melted in my mouth and the flavors were amazing!!!

I've been reflecting for the past month, trying to fight the urge to write this review, but I am all about honesty and truthful reviews. I've always held aMa Bistro in the highest ranks, I love their menu and I used to love the customer service. I had a not so pleasant visit about a month ago and I haven't returned since. Service started off normally but my waitress wouldn't make eye contact with me at all. I tried to look past it and then when I received my bill, she dropped the clipboard that the receipt is attached to on the table, not even looking at me, and just walking away. The experience just continued to get worse and I just got overall very bad vibes from the waitress. I was respectful the whole service and I understand that everyone has those days when they're not feeling it, but I felt unappreciated, especially being that I was a regular here. She seemed very kind with everyone else but in a way, ignored me. Again, the food was great but the service left a horrible taste in my mouth. Don't see myself walking back in here.

The place was so cute! It wasn't very busy in Saturday around 1. It was fast and our server was sweet! We will be back

I've heard a lot about the breakfast at aMa for many years, so when I found myself in Ann Arbor for an event on a Sunday morning, it was the perfect opportunity to give it a try. We arrived at 11 AM on a Sunday morning and it was hopping, but we only had to wait a few minutes for a table. Our server was very friendly and attentive and shared some suggestions from the menu. I opted for the smoked salmon benedict which was delicious. My wife had the spinach benedict and thought it was great. My daughter chose the "Big Breakfast" and it definitely lived up to its name! I look forward to returning and exploring more of the menu!

Cute spot for a quick brunch or lunch. Perfect amount of food and service was fast. Highly recommend!

A tiny whole in the wall of a restaurant, but I enjoyed it greatly. The aesthetics of the place was wonderful. I go to school in Detroit and decided to go on a friend date with for breakfast. We had a blast! The food was delicious and the iced Mocha was just okay but I'd still try their other iced coffee drinks. I would recommend this to anyone who's looking for a good place to eat that's cute and the food is good.

No frills breakfast that hits the spot. Omelets, pancakes, French toast, cereals. There are also a number of coffees, teas, milkshakes, and juices. Perfect.

the crepe here was great! made with fresh fruit and the portion is definitely worth the price. the chicken caesar wrap is also a must have, very flavorful. i don't recommend getting any pastas here, they're dry and bland. service was ok.

    Something exotic? Think again

Tight 45' connect flight at DTW on a stormy Eastern Seaboard day results in a missed connection and a chance to surprise my freshman daughter at Ann Arbor with a surprise lunch visit. Came in right after the late breakfast crowd and early lunch rush. Not sure why all the low reviews, good service from a well informed courteous young student/waiter. Daughter had a western omelet with fruit and toast and I decided to try something different the Albania V Bhurani, sounded exotic and a cappuccino. Cappuccino was MEH 3 stars and a tad cold but a healthy serving, college student portions. Daughter said As lunch arrive the omelet was good - 4 star assumption, not generous and not skimpy but if you have a big appetite might not be enough The Bburani, was nothing but spinach with eggs your style over and toast / fruit on the side. Not exotic but just like I saId spinach with eggs over, 4 stars

    Crepe
    Navapat K.

Crepe was okay, soft and yummy. Stuffed french toast was too dry, I hope they use better bread to make french toast. French toast should be more heavy not dry and hard to chew. I paid $4 extra for Nutella and to be honest I expect like a lot for $4 but it was too small for the price. Also, there's no server to come take your order, you have to order food online and they already charged for tip (18-20% I think), we didn't know so we paid extra. I just have to be honest, we're on budget .

    Breakfast !

Place: This place is walkable distance for those college students that want breakfast food or those that go to morning prayer and get hungry. THIS IS THE SPOT lol Service: The service has been consistently amazing and I love the waitress that always serves us. Food/price: The food is amazing and the amount we get is crazy. I always need a box when I eat. So worth! Most people get the breakfast bundle option but I forgot what it is called in the menu... Audience: I always go with friends and I can see myself bringing people new to Ann Arbor. It is a cheaper breakfast option in my opinion. Recommend/tips? I recommend this place and TIP- Get the breakfast burrito but it does have a kick of spice!

This place has one of the best brunch menus I've seen! This was a consistent favorite while living in Ann Arbor.

This is a review for the White Lotus cafe on Zeeb road (not the farms on Liberty)…read more This place is now my go-to for West Side hang-out. Anytime I have a family member visit me we go here. (I'm thinking of holding my office hours here in the fall, IN PERSON, over real coffee! this coffee is yummmmmmmy) From the moment I walk in the door I am greeted with friendly, knowledgeable staff. Who all know me by my first name! (and I have a difficult Spanish name). They greet me with a smile, never rush me, and take my order all the while answering any questions I might have. Since their menu is always evolving and changing, it's great that they take the time to walk through my options. So they have their standard amazing pizzas (which i first had at the farm) and their shockingly authentic pastries (even better croissants than I have had in Paris). But last week I tried their new breakfast food, and MAN! It was GOOD! the quiche, the omelet....and although I am convinced their chai is the best in Ann Arbor (it's not a premade mix of sugar and chemicals, it's the real deal) ...they now have this new line of matcha, so so good. Sarah and Kat make baristas run for cover, they are that good. And even with all that goodness, I was SHOCKED out of my mind when I had their eggplant sandwich. That thing is fire. FIRE. My family and I are big meat eaters, so when this one hit the scene, we couldn't believe how tasty it was. Even writing this review right now makes me want to go there and eat one. (I'll still keep trying their amazing ever-new menu, but this eggplant sandwich has become a standard) Also, there is this very cute small little market attached where I stop by at the end of the day to pick up freshly made bread for dinner. We love the sesame bread, but geez louise, the baguettes are addictive. Their head baker is INSANELY talented. Remember that scene in Ratatouille when the food critic gets transported to a core memory? That happens to me when I eat that bread. I have purchased goat milk soap there (its handmade by the baker's wife), hot chocolate mix, a kabocha squash, this no sugar added mango puree (which I made a no-sugar added mango torte with). They have these really cool unique products, and it really is a treat to stop by. The place is beautiful, and it is a gem to have such a high quality place to eat on this side of town. The passion that these people have comes through in their food, the products they sell, and the way they treat their community. I love Ann Arbor, and I love this cafe. (okay now i really am going to go and get that eggplant sandwich)

I ordered the Korean Chicken sandwich to go and it was ready quickly. It was very tasty and Huge. There several interesting-looking pizzas, but they were too large for a single lunch.
