We had a great experience with Afternoon Delight catering our college grad's celebration brunch. We ordered the beautiful salmon platter, fruit platter and brownies. Everything was delicious and was presented so nicely. And the crackers included with the salmon platter were so tasty. Ordering online was also easy and communication with Kathy was seamless. Thank for a great catering experience!

Stopped here for brunch on a Sunday morning before hitting the road and so glad we did, best meal of our visit. The wait was about 20mins to make it to the register and put in our order/pay than we were seated. It took another 20mins to get our meal, but definitely worth the wait. I had the Reuben on sourdough and it's the best sandwich I've had all year. Nice amount of beef, sauerkraut and melts cheese. The only thing I added was mustard and *chefs kiss* the next time I'm in Ann Arbor I'll be running back. The rest of my party enjoyed their meal which included various omelets (the veggie was jam packed with greens), black bean quesadilla (which the picky eater in our bunch loved) and a few muffins to go. Great service and an even better breakfast.

Came for brunch one a weekday and was surprised by their large inside space and menu! It looks smaller from the street. Ira counter ordering but delivery to your table. It was super fast. The outdoor tables were great. Glad we dined outdoors. It was my daughters birthday and so she got a free muffin! The coffee was excellent and we really enjoyed our boules. Will be back!

Such a cute brunch date (they close pretty early at 3pm), highly recommend their cafe mocha too(not pictured) I knew i had to get the smoked nova salmon eggs benedict - the egg yolk pop was gorgeous of course (lightly salted, yum!) and the potato pancake was so well paired with the salmon- i was bursting by the time i left! The free bread was also top tier, there's just something about bread and butter, toasted perfectly with the right amount of crunch - it's so simple but it works so well! Also the omelette was HUGE, didn't think we could finish, but there was plenty of cheese in it to help it go down

WOW! This is the perfect breakfast/brunch spot when you are craving large portions and comfort breakfast food. We ordered three dishes and each was uniquely great. #1: chocolate chip pancake (5/5) This dish puts the cake in pancake. Each bite was incredibly fluffy and filling. The exterior had a nice crisp to it. Chips were wonderfully blended in. This is my favorite pancake in Ann Arbor and I think it's a must-order item to split with the whole table (personally it was too heavy for me to have more than a few bites of). #2: potato pancakes (4.75/5) I ordered this as my main dish and was very nicely surprised. The applesauce was incredible - so sweet and fresh. The pancakes themselves were nice and crisp. The dips complemented them perfectly. They were served warm, not hot, which I didn't love but that's my only complaint. #3: egg and sourdough (5/5) Simple, classic, and fantastically executed. Beware that the bread is served with butter on it -- I probably would've ordered without if I knew this was the case. If you're looking for the perfect breakfast spot, this is your sign! It gives diner vibes and isn't fine dining by any means, but the convenience, portion sizes, and overall experience are unmatched.

My family has been coming here since this place opened in the late 70's. Everything they make is always fresh and made with love. Parking can be a little difficult, especially on the weekends. I would highly suggest getting here early as there can be a wait up to an hour especially during football season or the holidays. But honestly, it's worth the wait! The owners changed the original let the host greet you, wait 30+ minutes and then have a waiter or waitress serve you. Since COVID, it's more of a self-serve concept to cut down on the transmission of interactions between people (safety purposes). When you arrive be sure to read the big menu boards to the right of the entrance, that is where the menu items are located. From there you walk up to the register and order your food. Once you have completed payment, the cashier will give you a number. You can sit anywhere you'd like. A member of the waitstaff will bring you your food. Any additional things you may need such as a refill on coffee or water can be taken care of by asking a member of the waitstaff. Everyone is really nice, polite and super busy! The food is soooo delicious. Every morning they make HOMEMADE bran muffins with flavors such as: Blueberry, Chocolate Chip, Harvest, Peach, and a list of others. Don't forget to try their famous vanilla frozen custard or 'Twist' which is vanilla and whatever flavor of the week they have mixed together. Honestly, what more can you ask for? The pricing is just right, there is an food option for everyone in your family. From vegan to gluten-free, Afternoon Delight continues to be a staple of the Downtown community and I'm so happy that it's still running even after the pandemic. Keep up the great work!!!

The chicken pesto sandwich was a little under whelming and the pasta salad was under seasoned. Yummy coffee milkshake and tons of options.

From the gardens to the land with a creek flowing though it -- to the beautiful building and pleasing decor inside and a porch with tables around much of it. So impressed. The menu, our server explained, is changed out quarterly and this is the new summer one. So many unique small and large plates (but when he described them, they were way more intricate and enticing than the menu even showed). He was attentive and helped guide our choices. We ordered the eggplant small plate to share, then the mushroom pizza (so much tastier than the description would indicate), and the wild boar brat with cherry and peach accents. Everything was delicious. I also got an iced latte with the house made mocha and it was better than alcohol, if you're a coffee lover anyway. 100% plan to come back! And likely soon. This is up there with how I feel about Sylvan Table, which is a huge compliment to Dixboro Project!

This Sunday, my mom invited myself and my siblings to join her for brunch. The ambience was amazing - with lovely natural lighting and gorgeous table settings. The menu makes every dish seem mouthwatering and delicious. When the plates came out, they were gorgeous and the food looked so inviting. Unfortunately, the taste was completely lacking. If you're going to charge the prices they're charging, the flavor should be amazing in every single bite. We sampled four different dishes, and none blew me away. Some, were even borderline "bad." Here's a rundown: mushroom pizza - the description makes it seem like it will be cheesy and full of flavor, but it was very one note duck confit pizza - had three pieces of duck on it and was otherwise covered in hot peppers lemon blueberry pancake - more of a skillet cake - sauce was the best part, otherwise dry on the bottom Raclette burger - $30 which is almost comparable in price to a burger I had at The Four Seasons in Maui. That burger, was worth every penny. This one had absolutely no flavor. The meat tasted like mush - definitely lacked seasoning, and there was not a speck of cheese to be found. If you're going to call a burger a raclette, it should be oozing with cheese. grilled Romaine salad - leaves were bitter and the dressing again, looked delicious, but had no flavor. The flavors did not compliment each other at all - with the pickled grapes, taking away from the dish and contrasting very starkly against the rotten tasting lettuce Brown sugar oat milk latte - really the only thing that delivered both on looks and on flavor. Sadly, not high on my list of places to return. It kind of made me think of Vegas: lots of pomp and glam which momentarily distracts you into thinking you're having the best time of your life. But in retrospect, not very fulfilling.

Great Brunch, good Lunch, but menu could use more variety!…read more Savas is an adorable restaurant with a really welcoming atmosphere; the space is cute, the environment is lovely, and the staff is genuinely amazing every single time. My first visit was for brunch, and it completely won me over. The buffet had a wonderful variety of food, the mimosas and cocktails were delicious, and for the quality, variety, and service you get, the price point is very fair. I left thoroughly impressed. I came back for lunch excited to experience it again, and while the staff was just as warm and the environment just as great, however, this time the lunch menu didn't quite live up to my expectations. They offer salads, sandwiches, mac and cheese and similar American-style comfort food, which is totally fine, but for a restaurant of this caliber I was hoping for something a little more exciting. I ended up ordering a salad with added shrimp, which was absolutely delicious, and a pomegranate rosemary lemonade that was incredibly refreshing - perfect for a summer day-. But if you're not in the mood for sandwiches, salads, or mac and cheese, your options are pretty limited. My suggestion: keep doing everything you're doing because the hospitality and atmosphere are truly special, but consider expanding the lunch and dinner menu for those looking for a heartier or more diverse meal.

My…read morefriends and I arrived 10 min before they opened for brunch and there was no wait, though the restaurant filled up quickly behind us. The space is rustic and simple, with fresh cut flowers on the tables. A majority of the walls were occupied by floor to ceiling racks of wine, as that is their award-winning product. Their brunch menu changes weekly and is extremely tight and cohesive. My party ordered the entire food menu sans olives (2/3rds of us don't like them), and two plates of the potato pelmeni. My thoughts below: Amaro Apertivo: mocktail based on the namesake dessert wine. This tasted like candy but not too sweet, and we enjoyed it a lot. Lovage soda: Google told me that lovage is an herb that tastes like citrus and celery. I am a huge fan of drinks with a twist, and I'd say that celery is a pretty big one! Crisp and not too sweet, the citrus flavor definitely balanced the Celery, and both flavors kept the soda fresh and crisp. This was great paired with the rest of the herbaceous menu and balanced out the richness of some later dishes, though it's not necessarily something I would enjoy by itself without appropriate accompaniment. Pickled egg, fried shallot, dill: I had only heard of pickled eggs in the context of strange British food on YouTube, so I was a little hesitant about this dish. The concept of an egg floating in vinegar brine is a bit off-putting, but once I powered through that mental roadblock, I found myself enjoying this bite. The egg is perfectly cooked with a slightly jammy yolk, and the shallots added a much needed crunch. Dill enhanced the pickled taste while cutting through the richness of the fried shallots and yolk. Sourdough focaccia, whipped butter: Never in my life have I ever made focaccia this tall. This focaccia was raised by a loving family and nurtured to develop a golden, non-greasy, crisp crust protecting its tender, pillowy innards. The classic sourdough tang is a novel addition to each bite, and cuts through the creamy, whipped butter to keep me wanting more. I could eat a whole pan of this alone, but we had many more plates to sample. Saucisson sec salami, pickled carrot: This is a simple, charming, carb-free mini charcuterie; place a slice of salami, some of the mozzarella (next dish on this list, below), and its oil atop a pickled carrot base, and you are in for a perfectly balanced treat. My favorite part of this dish is the fact that the salami was incredibly savory, and not too salty. The more you chew it, the more the flavors express themselves, so be sure to chew slowly and thoroughly! The crunch of the crisp, dill-pickled carrot and the soft chewiness of the mozzarella give each bite a lot of good contrast. Mozzarella, green garlic oil: Fresh, hand-stretched mozzarella is something that even I, a notorious cheese-hater, can't say no to. It is not sharp or funky at all, nor is it too salty. Most of the flavor comes from the green garlic and olive oil smothering each bite. Fresh and floral with a little bite, this was delicious with the salami and carrot above. Potato pelmeni, asparagus green adjika, sour cream: Given the portion size of the previous dishes (small, tapas vibes), we were not expecting the platter full of double carb heaven that met our eyes. And we ordered two!!! This is a gorgeous dish with plump, quarter-sized pelmeni nestled in a vibrant green asparagus and herb sauce with a dollop of sour cream on top. This was a classic comfort dish with a verdant twist! The pelmeni were stuffed full of creamy potato, and the dough was cooked perfectly al dente for a satisfying, pillowy bite. The sauce was homey but packed with zippy flavor and tender asparagus. The major feedback I have for this dish is that it was way too salty, to the point where the flavor was a tad too sharp because of it. Lettuces, radish, pumpkin seed, caraway vinaigrette: It was through this dish that I found out what caraway tastes like and through this dish that I figured out that I'm not a caraway fan. The lettuces were bitter and when combined with the slightly medicinal caraway taste, wasn't for me. The crunch of the radish and the nutty pumpkin seeds were great in this dish though! Fennel cornmeal biscotti, rhubarb compote, cream: This was a single biscotti with generous dollops of compote and cream. We were quite full when this dish was set in front of us, so I was frankly relieved for the small portion size. The fennel in the biscotti paired wonderfully with the tart rhubarb, and the rich cream rounded things out nicely without tipping into cloying territory. The savory cornmeal complimented the fennel and provided additional depth of flavor. A great small bite to end on! Overall, Spencer's strong fundamentals allow them to take risks with in-season local produce. Some things worked for me and some didn't, but I would love to come back to see what they can create next!
