And the portion of rice and beans was tiny, especially for $4. Of the tacos, the beef was a little tough, but the chicken and pork were good. The rice and beans were both tasty. Just not enough. Here's a rundown: mushroom pizza - the description makes it seem like it will be cheesy and full of flavor, but it was very one note duck confit pizza - had three pieces of duck on it and was otherwise covered in hot peppers lemon blueberry pancake - more of a skillet cake - sauce was the best part, otherwise dry on the bottom Raclette burger - $30 which is almost comparable in price to a burger I had at The Four Seasons in Maui. That burger, was worth every penny. This one had absolutely no flavor. The meat tasted like mush - definitely lacked seasoning, and there was not a speck of cheese to be found. If you're going to call a burger a raclette, it should be oozing with cheese. grilled Romaine salad - leaves were bitter and the dressing again, looked delicious, but had no flavor. The flavors did not compliment each other at all - with the pickled grapes, taking away from the dish and contrasting very starkly against the rotten tasting lettuce Brown sugar oat milk latte - really the only thing that delivered both on looks and on flavor. Not only are they are offering some really great brisket, burgers, fried chicken, pizza, and sandwiches, but they plan on adding more entrées, including catfish and other seafood items in the near future. Currently, they do have limited vegan and vegetarian options available. I was told they will be expanding that menu section in the future. That being said, they do offer a great Vegetarian Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. One new innovation that Haab's Barrel House is offering is karaoke every night.
