Cheesy grits
Chelsea C.

Amazing food and atmosphere! Came here on a Friday around 1030-1045 (took an early lunch to beat the crowd). Got sat right away and was greeted with a cheerful smile. Very attentive wait staff, didn't feel rushed, and recommended great options. Wish we could have enjoyed some cocktails but the coffee did the trick. Highly recommend the Floridian French toast!!! Parking: large lot, as it's shared with other businesses Attire: casual! Prices: very fair for the quality you're getting.

Savory Shrimp & grits!

A little homesick, I was feeling the need for a "virtual visit South" so I stopped in and was treated to one of the summer specials: shrimp & grits! It was delicious and so savory + the grits were superbly cooked (that's high praise from this Georgia girl!) + loaded with andouille sausage, peppers & onions + ciabatta toast! *and due to the serving size, I'll get to enjoy a take-home portion remains of this entree a couple more days! The attentive & friendly service actually remind me a bit of southern hospitality! That's a refreshing change from some restaurants in the Ann Arbor area that I have visited - THANK YOU, First Watch A2!!

Definitely gonna visit here whenever I can! The portions are huge and well worth your buck. I ordered the Chile Chorizo which came with buttered toast, strawberry jam, potatoes, and pico de gallo. The omelette was very savory and had the perfect amount of cheese, and the avocado was a great addition too! I also loved their Purple Haze drink. I thought that the lavender flavor really complimented the lemonade-like sweetness and butterfly pea tea. I can also see how some people might possibly find the lavender a little overwhelming at first, but I think it's a great sweet drink to compliment the main course.

Pumpkin pancake with 2 over easy eggs, chicken sausage

First of all, I love First Watch. Their food is always fresh and flavorful. I ordered the pumpkin pancake breakfast and I was curious about how sweet it was but our waiter, Ryan was very helpful and attentive. My wife likes the traditional breakfast with her meat selection split between bacon and sausage. Their fresh juices are priced fairly. The wait time was 10 minutes, the staff was clearing the tables and getting people seated efficiently.

Strawberry Tres Leches French Toast

Very great service, we got our food very quickly. So many delicious food options, will definitely come back.

This place is very spacious and I enjoy coming here after work! The service is nice and you can even pay through your phone now! I got the BLT Bennie and it was so good! We also got table cakes and I think the lemon pancake is worth it! I enjoy coming here after work. Everyone is so friendly. The food is amazing. Definitely will be back

Visited again but with my husband and again it was an excellent brunch spot. Great vibe. Not too casual but not fancy either. I like have the option of a cocktail with my brunch. The service was excellent. Good timing and attention. I made a better choice on this visit and was much happier with my food this time. I saw the dish I had last time, walking past me and I couldn't understand how it was so popular. The coffee is good. The food is fresh. Service is great and booths are comfy. They have a reserve your spot in line feature and I would recommend. I haven't waited more than 10 mins so far.

Based on the menu and things I'd seen on social I had high hopes for First Watch but alas, they did not live up to my expectations. First the pros--everything we ordered looked great. It came out promptly and made for good pictures. The portions and price points were pretty reasonable as well. I also like that they do have a breakfast combo meal on the menu. I often have a hard time choosing between salty and sweet and being able to order the Trifecta (a belgian waffle, eggs, and meat) meant I didn't have to hem and haw too much. I went with my eggs over medium and opted for the pork sausage. The cons--while everything LOOKED good the flavors weren't particularly remarkable. Maybe my menu choice wasn't very creative but that's what I typically order from other breakfast joints and I've definitely had better. Also, while it's nice that they have some outdoor seating it isn't the nicest view (they're located in a strip mall) and the high sun in the afternoon was really brutal where we were sitting. That said, it's still a very nice option to have the outdoor option. The service was adequate but not what you would call welcoming. When we first went inside to get a table they were a little brusque with us and upon sitting outside our waitress wasn't exactly attentive. When she did come around she was very nice though. So yeah, I haven't been in a huge hurry to get back here since my first visit but I do have high hopes for them. The ideas, the menu, all of it is good, it just needs a bit of refining.

I was told about this place from a friend and was asked about joining for brunch. It sits off of Saline road in a plaza beside Target. The place was pretty crowded and busy but had plenty parking. My friend was already seated so I had no wait. The waitress was very friendly and quickly asked if wanted anything to drink. I got the Carmel crunch coffee which was pretty tasty. I got the Trifecta for my main meal. I am not a regular breakfast person but this was a delight to get. I got a waffle, chicken sausage and scrambled eggs. The Belgian waffle came with a fruity syrup mix. Pretty good stuff and a pretty good breakfast that hit the spot. My friend got the potato with sausage and gravy. I tried that and it was also great. I will check out this place again in the near future.

Eggs with cheese

Only problem I got with this place is there cooks it's like they never cooked before my eggs are always terrible I ask for them with cheese and it's a side of cheese!!

Frorian French Toast

Finally, I had a chance to come to this place for catching up with a friend. Noisy but very lively family friendly atmosphere. It was packed on Sunday morning, so it took them a little long to bring what I ordered, Frorian French Toast and tropical fresh squeezed healthy juice. The reason I gave 3 was because the french toast would have been better if it was warmer served with additional butter and real maple syrup. The Brioche bread was too dry. The volume was good for a small eater. If you like large volume of breakfast, this would not be the place.

Stay Golden Cinnamon roll

By far the best brunch restaurant in town. The waiter was attentive & the food was beyond amazing. The steak in the steak & egg hash was cooked medium just how I like it & the eggs were extremely fluffy. In fact ive never had eggs that had that much fluffiness ever so it's super unique. My wife had the breakfast tacos and she said it was the best breakfast taco she's ever had! The only thing that wasn't the best was the cinnamon roll, it was dry and tough to cut not really much flavor either. But overall I'd recommend this place to anyone and is worth the wait! They have excellent iced coffee too

The service is hit or miss but the food is always excellent. I went for the chorizo omelet and it was perfect.

Upon our initial seating we were set in at a table that had us way too close to those at the next table. It was a little uncomfortable to say that we were not together. We did ask to be moved and then sat a table in the middle of the dining room which was definitely better. My dining companion and I enjoyed our meals and were both pleasantly surprised about the quality and taste from a hotel restaurant. Our server was very kind and attentive. I would certainly dine here again. However, due to the size and layout of the dining room, I personally would want to visit on a day that was lower traffic.

The heart pieces were the best, of course. - Steak Frites. This was good! Not necessarily extraordinary, but priced reasonably (for the area) as well. - Crème Brulee. Fabulous! Not tooo sweet. Location is not the most convenient for pulling La Serre into a regular rotation. They do have valet parking as an option. For anyone already staying at the hotel, this is a must try while there!

Really nice, but a bit pricey!…read more Stepping into Mynt House is honestly kind of an immersive experience with how they've decorated and styled the place. We sat downstairs, and it had the look and feel of a cute Moroccan courtyard (aside from the obvious of it being indoors haha). I loved the mint tea experience everywhere I went when I visited Morocco, so of course got that here. $16 for a large pot of tea. Nice and minty, just a touch I would say on the too sweet side, but overall nice. I got the Shakshuka ($21) which I do recommend - delicious. And had leftovers for a second breakfast. The bread that came with it was kind of unique, very yummy dipped in the saucy savory eggs. My friend got the Traditional Moroccan Breakfast ($24) which looked like a fun smorgasbord. I don't recall any detailed description on the menu for this one, so I think the items were largely a surprise! Loved the presentation of everything.

Amazing flavor on everything and it was all made to order, so while we waited a bit for our meal, it came out piping hot and felt homemade. They don't skimp on portions. Our lamb was very tender. The shakshouka was so delicious, I couldn't stop eating it but had to so I didn't burn my esophagus from the chilis! A really great addition to the A2 food scene!
