Lobster linguini. A whole lobster on top of fresh pasta. The vodka sauce was on the sweet side but it was DELICIOUS! highly recommended

This French fusion restaurant is a gem in Ann Arbor. Beautiful ambiance, excellent foods, great cocktails and wine list and a very knowledgeable service. The prices are reasonable for this level of quality and service.

This new spot is located inside the Vanguard. It's a nice little vibe outside the traditional A2 spot and it's nice that places like this are popping up for the more "adult" crowd. The valet was super nice. That's just an aside. They were trying to accommodate a large party and it was hard to get a reservation, but we managed and we didn't find wait time for our food and drink to be negatively impacted. The cocktail I had was delicious as was the house butter. Our meat and fish were cooked very well and the fried artichokes were an unexpected hit. I'd go back for sure.

. The service provided was excellent and the food presentation was truly delightful. The seating was a bit tight, it almost felt like the tables were too close together.

La Serre is the restaurant inside the Vanguard hotel. Very popular with locals and definitely not just got the hotel stayers. The food was expertly prepared and delicious. We started with the asparagus and Brussels sprouts. The asparagus wasn't too salty like some places. The sauce it came in was awesome. The Brussels sprouts came with little chunks of bacon and were mouth watering. For dinner, myself and my companions ordered: - Caesar salad and French onion soup - Steak Frites (x2) - Salmon Everyone liked what they ordered. The French onion soup was great - crisp and cheesy topping. The only dish I wouldn't recommend was the Caesar salad which was very fresh but the dressing was plain and didn't taste like a Caesar. The service was excellent. Key was the best server we've had anywhere. She even exchanged all plates and silverware between appetizers and dinner. The staff was accommodating too because we arrived 10 minutes believe closing at 10pm and they didn't bat an eyelash.

We had a great time at La Serre. The restaurant was busy and buzzing! The service was attentive and prompt. We started with the cheese board which had a nice selection including a sage infused cheddar. We split the beet salad which was refreshing. Our main plates were well prepared and tasty. The restaurant had a bit of a feel of a hotel restaurant -- which it was -- but it was still delicious. Wine selection was good.

I had the best experience sitting at the bar! Chris & Logan immediately took care of me and were attentive the entire night. Chris asked what brought me in, and when I told him I was celebrating my birthday he immediately poured me a glass of his favorite sparkling wine. This was such a thoughtful gesture and it made me feel very appreciated! The steak frites were delicious, some of the best steak I've had in Ann Arbor. Everything was 10/10 from start to finish & I will absolutely be back to sit at the bar!!

The best bartenders are the kind who make you feel so welcome that you end up eating more than you planned, trying drinks you never expected, and choosing to return rather than explore somewhere new in the city you're visiting. Chris is exactly that kind of bartender. I was in town for work and decided to visit after seeing the appealing menu online. Instead of taking my assigned table, I opted to sit at the bar--a decision I'm so glad I made. From start to finish, every recommendation Chris made was spot on. He started me with the Hamachi Crudo appetizer, described the truffle butter served with the Gougères in a way that made it irresistible, and curated excellent cocktail and wine pairings to match my food choices. Throughout the evening, I watched him interact with multiple guests, and without exception, he was warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. This kind of service is what turns a good meal into a memorable dining experience. I'll absolutely be back(tonight)! *duplicating my OpenTable review here because I loved it so much

La Serre in Ann Arbor is definitely worth checking out. The lobster pasta was absolutely amazing--rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. It's the kind of dish you'll keep thinking about long after the meal. The steak frites was also amazing and worth tasting!

Amazing restaurant with great food. We celebrated my friend's birthday in this restaurant and we were so pleased with service and food. Gorgeous ambiance. Parking is across street so no worries to find a place to park.

I stopped in with a group on a weeknight recently, and even on a cold December night, we found that there was a small crowd inside, with groups of all sizes grabbing drinks and catching up. The inside of the establishment is a mix of super high ceilings and surpisingly limited seats. There are a fair amount of tables and bar seating as well, but just less than you'd expect by looking at it from the outside! There are a ton of TVs inside, so I could imagine this would be a good place to watch sports -- while we were there, they were playing a Lord of the Rings movie and we heard from the bartender that they often have movies of such high caliber playing! Now onto the important part - the cocktails! We tried a couple of cocktails from their menu and found that though they tasted good, they felt somewhat lacking in alcohol... either the bartender did an amazing job with the mix, or they were light pours. I will say I got an old fashioned after that, and the old fashioned was excellent! Handmade, not pre-mixed, and both the flavor and presentation were excellent. Overall, I'd say we had a pretty solid experience - I'll be back to try out some more drinks for sure (both cocktails and coffee!)

What I do love about Ann Arbor is that they balance out the drunk haunts of young adults with great restaurants and high end bars for the people looking for more than a pitcher of cheap beer. Rabbit Hole is one of those spots. Down the same little alley way as Circ Bar, this underground bar is tucked away, stone hallways and open up and lead to different openings that provide seating, a dance floor and an amazingly stocked bar. If you like bourbon you will love this spot. Our bartender was fantastic, absolutely worked with me on working out a drink. I know I took a pic of an espresso martini, but my drink was made perfect also. Another nice surprise was that it wasn't some crazy price on the drink (I mean any crazier than other places and quite cheaper than around my home), especially for Ann Arbor. Walking away from the bar is a dance floor, and surrounding it are booths in a separate rooms and tables on a level up from the dance floor. There are also two hallways that lead to more booths and tables in different areas of the bar. As you can imagine this is a huge place. We came on a Friday and it wasn't very busy, but school is out and the weather had just broke so not surprising. I really enjoyed my time and the company I was with, and I would definitely go back.

Definitely a bit confusing to figure out where to go. I wish I had been given some direction. There is seating against the wall throughout the winding halls. There is a dance floor and a couple bars. I loved the look which would definitely bring me back if I had also loved the Cocktails. The drink I ordered was way too sweet. I was underwhelmed. Most of their drinks looked on the sweeter side even the bartender mentioned. For my second I just ordered a glass of bubbly. It was also on the sweeter side but an improvement. For the prices, I really don't want to have to get up, find my way back to the bar to order my drink, then walk back to my seat avoiding the people and trying not to spill.

Given the exceptional service at other restaurants it is a deterrent for returning. Drinks are reasonably priced and a good selection. For being scratch made they are not able to accommodate allergies well. Most things are marinated or prepped ahead. Besides Sushi or ordering plain noodles there isn't much I could order. My husband did enjoy the Burger and would order it again. I just wish there was more I could eat. For the Sushi its not anything outstanding. The flavor of the Crab Salad isn't our favorite. The Black Pearl Roll unfortunately, is not worth the pricing. $25 for a roll with mostly cucumber. It's also not very consistent in sizing. Once it was so large I could barely fit it in my mouth and the other times very small. If you plan to charge $25 for a Sushi Roll it should contain a good amount of Sushi.
