Tried this new cafe downtown. Was really looking forward to it. We were given a warm and friendly greeting with a complete rundown of the menu. Definitely did not feel rushed to order and also felt there was a lot of pride in what they serve here. The ambiance is so cute and there is a lot of seating. We ordered the chicken pastry, shakshouka, and a lamb tagine. Amazing flavor on everything and it was all made to order, so while we waited a bit for our meal, it came out piping hot and felt homemade. They don't skimp on portions. Our lamb was very tender. The shakshouka was so delicious, I couldn't stop eating it but had to so I didn't burn my esophagus from the chilis! A really great addition to the A2 food scene!

We're at the University hospital this week and have two hours for lunch. Dr. Farah wants to introduce us to her secret spot. Leave it to me to expose that secret, but this place truly is a treasure. It's a cozy, but spacious, coffee house that also features Moroccan classics like shakshuka and tajine. It's not all coffee, either. Their Moroccan Mint tea is a must try. Hot Pots of Green tea and Chai tea lattes; etc. The absolute precious touch is the decor. The pictures don't do it justice. It was so welcoming and felt more so when greeted by their wonderful staff. A new favourite for us. I see us coming back often. 10/25

Plenty of seating indoors with casual vibes. Interior is very clean, aesthetic, and comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating for our first visit during late hours. Dessert and coffee were wonderful and appreciated. Not quite sure how these prices compare to other similar establishments, but I enjoyed my stay here.

Pretty delightful!! Welcome to Ann Arbor, Mynt House! Not going to lie, I thought it was another dispensary given the branding BUT it's a Moroccan Tea House that serves tea, coffee (the usual lattes, capps, etc) but ALSO food! I stopped by in the afternoon for a quick sweet treat: *Moroccan Baklava ($15) - pricey BUT delicious. The helpful human working & answering my questions - said it's the same ingredients BUT they use a pastry cutter of some sort to get the circular shape. Anyways, it was delightful! Like a little birds nest. *Moroccan Lemon Iced Tea - love that this is unsweetened. It's pretty lemon-y but I enjoyed it. Love the touch of fresh mint leaves too. I'll have to come back for the chicken tagine, the shakshuka....there's also ample seating and really beautiful fountains inside. It's a whole vibe there!

This place is incredible. When you first walk in, you smell the cardamom and are greeted with a warm smile by the staff at the counter. What a nice little getaway cafe. Fresh juices, good food selection and really fun dining room. Sit up front for natural light or by the fountain for a cozy hideaway. Upstairs has comfy Moroccan couches and decor. I ordered a salmon breakfast plate. It will take some proper coaching to teach me how the say the name but sounded incredible, along with a regular pot of mint green tea. Proper breaking of my 18 hour fast. This is exactly what I was looking for. Order at the counter and find a seat. They bring your food. Self serve water and sugars are stationed around the dining area. Wheelchair accessible up front so if you're abled, please keep that in mind. Just lovely. Downsides - tea is sweetened. $10 for a tiny pot that is almost not palatable for the amount of sugar in it. I wasn't expecting it nor do I enjoy sweet tea, especially to that extreme. I wish they would have noted or asked when ordered. Scrambled eggs are overcooked. They offered sunny side up. I'll remember that next time.

Moroccan themed cafe, with a lot of different food and drink options. I came here around 9pm on a Saturday. They didn't have crepes at that hour but did have drinks and pastries. My partner got a sweet chicken pastry, and a coffee. I got a cappuccino with soy. It was good. All the tables, inside and outside, were dirty and needing bussing but it was nice there.

Mynt House is super Instagram aesthetic! There are hanging greens all throughout the three floors and there is plenty of seating. The decor is Moroccan themed and very well put together. The cashier was helpful at providing suggestions for what to order. We decided on the green mint tea and the Salmoncado Casablanca. The green mint tea was really sweet and delicious. Be careful, the teapot is piping hot! They provide a napkin for you to use to hold the pot until it cools down. The Salmoncado Casablanca was also very filling and very worth sharing with two people. I will have to come again with more friends!

Came here for lunch and had a great time! There is plenty of seating and different areas within the restaurant. You order first and then find a seat and bring a table number. It may take a bit of time for the food to come out, but it was so worth it! It is a little pricey but the portions were large and so delicious. I got the shakshuka and my friend got a platter. The green mint tea was addicting!

Lovely spot! The staff was amazing, my only tiny problem was that they were out of oatmilk when I stopped by, but I still had a great time.

Mynt house looks beautiful! Lots of spots to take beautiful pictures. A group of us stopped for some dessert. The round baklava dessert was pricy but delicious, but carrot cake we had to send back because it was clearly very stale. Moroccan tea was also great, however moroccochino was terrible- I understand it should be spiced but it was all floating on top of the drink and was very unpleasant to continually take little spice pieces out. Very odd... I've had spiced drinks before but never had a problem like this. Bottom line - great potential, take nice pictures, menu hit or miss.

I've come to Mynt House twice at this point and really wanted to love it since it is such a nicely decorated space. However, as others have noted, the service is incredibly slow. It took 40 minutes for me to receive a black coffee and pastry when the pastry was sitting right in the case. The food itself is fairly mediocre, especially for the price. The salmon panini I got my first visit was very bland, the bread was bad quality/burnt. The baklava was pretty good.

    Great lower level

My new favorite place ! Great ambience and calming vibe , bonus it's open till midnight . I will bring my friends to share the mood.

The main thing Drip House has going for it is that it is effectively the only coffee spot to sit and study or meet someone right by the stadium (where a bunch of us live and/or work). It is also open into the early evening when a lot of other coffee spots aren't. And we do love an outside seating option. The service has always been just fine and it's a pretty cute spot (not to sound ridiculously nit-picky but while we're here--someone might wanna sheer some of the many dead leaves off the beautiful plant inside though). Also, the banana oat latte they had as a special a couple months ago was delicious. So yummy. Some things I don't love about Drip House: the blue chairs. So uncomfortable. It is expensive and, dare I say, overpriced. The first time I got my $14 piece of ricotta toast, it was delicious. And I figured, fine. It's $14 for a piece of bread with a little cheese and jam but it's so yummy, I'll splurge every once in a while and go with it. Plus, I can't eat tree nuts, so it is one of the few options for me. However, the second time I got it, it was most definitely not worth it. The "whipped" ricotta was just a sad, thin wet layer and there was practically no jam. I get it. It's expensive out here. We're living in the shadows of the avocado toast economy where espresso drinks cost minimum $7 and you effectively can't buy anything for less than $4. But just because you feel like you *can* doesn't mean you *should.* Paying $14 for a piece of bread.... Come on. It's insulting. It feels exploitative. Will i be going back? Yes, because of the proximity and sometimes a girl needs to go for a cute little walk to get a coffee--just to feel something. Would I if there was a competing coffee shop nearby? That remains to be seen. Also the size of the "large" iced drink. Come on guys.

Most recently I came here for a meeting, ordering a vanilla latte and a sweet potato hand pie to nibble on since I hadn't eaten yet. The description of the latter sounded so good, sweet potatoes with black beans and a few other veggies, wrapped up in flaky pie dough. The filling, however, was mostly pureed, giving it more of a baby food consistency which I didn't love. The flavor was good though but I couldn't get over the mushy texture. The black beans weren't pureed in but were few and far between (I think I maybe counted 2 or 3?). In addition to my hand pie I also ordered a piece of the billionaire's shortbread but they didn't ring it up/prepare it. By the time I realized it (I had to wait for my hand pie to be heated up) it was only a few minutes before close so I didn't bother going back up to the counter to reorder. IDK if they were just in a hurry to close or genuinely didn't hear my order but it was a bummer since it did look great. The vanilla latte, however, was quite good. And for a coffee shop that's most important. And what they lacked in substantial food options they did make up for in fun, seasonal drink specials and a few sweet treats like cookies and the aforementioned shortbread. The space is very cute, as well, and made for a really comfortable meeting location. So overall I did like my visit here. I just won't be rushing back here if I'm feeling peckish. But for a caffeinated pick me up and a nice place to meet or chill, this definitely fits the bill.
