We had a Yelp event at their Dearborn location. I really wanted the iced Adeni chai that a few reviews have talked about, but they were unfortunately out. So, I got the hot Adeni chai with no sweetener. It does take a little longer as they brew it fresh. You can watch them heat and steep from the induction stove right there which is pretty cool. I was surprised by how spacious it was. There were ample tables (that I appreciated they were wiping down on a regular basis) as well as WiFi. We all live close but there are four other cafes within quick walking distance whose coffee is as good or (much) better. Until this morning I just wanted to support the neighborhood cafe and the people who work there. After today, no more. I can spend my money at Cafe Liv, Hyperion, Sweetwaters and/or Vertex since this business does not seem to want or appreciate my business. The coffee and the service and the turnover of staff keeps getting worse and worse. The thousand-plus dollars I have spent each year for the past eight years can be much better spent at any of the other cafes that will only add a few minutes to my walk to get to (yes I love and frequent my local cafes!).
