I haven't been to Smoothie King in ages... when I used to visit California, I always went to Robeks. Menu has changed a lot, more items then before, ordering is bit more complicated... but went with an item under the "Take a Break Blends" and got the Berry Punch. I went with 32 oz, it was only 400 calories. I guess I'll have to visit more and try different flavors and see which one will become my favorite. I would recommend you order online as it takes up to 10 minutes to make.

I have noticed the OPEN sign in the mornings and decided to try it on my way to work. Thankfully there was no line. I was on my way in about 4 minutes from the time I pulled in, to pulling away from the window. The calorie count is on the menu, thankfully, as most of them didn't seem like they'd be so calorie-laden. It helped me make my choice of flavor and size. I wasn't disappointed with my selection, however, $7+ for a small shake was a bit pricey. The only thing I didn't like was the consistency - it's like baby food creamy. Not so much icy. It's simply a preference, I am sure. I would get the lemon spinach one again - when I have $$ to burn on a drink and feel like semi-cool creamy drink.

Pleased to see a Turkish Village Cafe open up in Ann Arbor! Since it's new, I imagine the current…read moremenu isn't necessarily permanent, but it is immediately interesting to compare the "localization" of this menu against Dearborn's. Perhaps unsurprisingly, there's more casual and fusion-like options in Ann Arbor! My husband and I stopped in for lunch and got the Shawarma Fries and a Sujuk breakfast sandwich (sujuk, eggs, feta, spinach, herbs on choice of bread). Shawarma fries were really yummy! Very flavorful, a generous amount, and I loved the savory slightly tangy orange sauce. The Sujuk sandwich was delicious, even if it didn't look like all that much. I missed the complimentary bread and dips that you'll get in Dearborn, but I'm excited to come back and try more of the Ann Arbor menu! Next time, will want to try more of the classics/traditional options. Beautiful, airy, clean space. Cool to see how they took the old space and really made it their own with some renovations and decor. Lovely and attentive service! The staff all around seem to really care about customers having a great experience. Easy parking in the Fourth & William garage, if you don't mind paying.

I stopped in the lunch and just like the Avalon model, you can walk up to order coffee & pastries to go or sit and eat. I opted in sit and eat - expansive menu. I really wanted to try the 5 in 1 pide but they didn't have it yet. So I ordered the: * Mixed Shwarma bowl: chicken & beef with your choice of garlic sauce or hummus. I picked garlic sauce! Good flavor. The meat was a smidge on the drier side but nothing a little baba couldn't fix! REALLY generous portion for lunch! * Baba ganouj: loved the smokiness in this! assuming it's from roasting the eggplant. I had this with crispy pita chips rather than just pita. * Katifi & Baklava - not overly sweet like some Baklava. enjoyed them both! I'll be back for the Shwarma fries and Pide (wont' be available for ~1 month as they're waiting for the oven)! And oh the Dubai latte ha. Vanessa, my server, was friendly and attentive!

I have never had a bad dish here. Vegetarian or not everything has been absolutely delicious!!!!…read more The 3 of us could easily choose our appetizer. IT IS A MUST HAVE!!!!! A shareable platter of garlic bread, vegan basil-cashew pesto, fresh tomato-basil relish, Kalamata olive tapenade and choice of sesame-crusted Goat cheese or house-made almond 'cheese' (Order with almond cheese to be vegan; Substitute gluten-free garlic bread to be gluten free). SERIOUSLY PEOPLE-IT'S A MUST!!! Unlike my sweet sister I try something different every time we come. The three of us had different meals last night. I had a cup of white bean and kale soup. It had diced carrots, onion, celery and sweet potatoes in a delicious broth. So savory and warm, the kale had obviously been rubbed and was as tender as could be. I ordered another appetizer instead of a full meal. I had the General Tso's fresh Cauliflower with a very light tempura batter sprinkled with sesame seeds in a sweet and sour chili sauce-It was the right amount of heat and I found it just right in terms of quantity for my dinner. My sister had the Taco Salad-which she raves about. I have yet to try it, but it looks delicious. Ingredients include; Romaine, fresh corn salsa, black beans, sweet potatoes, avocado, pumpkin seeds, and corn chips, with your choice of Chihuahua cheese or vegan mozzarella, and your choice of sour cream or vegan cucumber ranch, with house made salsa on the side (Choose vegan mozzarella and cucumber ranch to be vegan, Gluten free.) My brother-in-law was the smartest one of all of us as he ordered the restaurant week meal which included appetizer main course, salad & dessert! I'll post the restaurant week menu below. It was fabulous. since it was still happy hour I ordered a Mocktail- Iced Ginger Spritzer Ginger, lemon, agave and soda, on ice. Wow- super ginger forward. He also had a Mocktail: A Solar Blast containing Orange, grapefruit, lime and ginger, on ice. (Mmmmmm-refreshing!) He had the white bean & kale cup of soup. He chose the Gomadore Udon -a beautiful bowl. Brown rice and Udon noodles in a mushroom broth. Silky tofu, mung bean sprouts, carrots, zucchini, green onion and kale. Veggies blanched but still crisp. What a great entrée for a below 0° day. It was finished with a rich sesame Gomodore Sauce. There was a farro grain salad with it. His dessert was a Lavender Lemon Bar which he described as heavenly. No doubt about it- this was an exquisite meal. Our server was great. He stayed on top of everything without being intrusive. The ambience here is subtle and casual. Nice long bar area and plenty of dining space. We called ahead as they will add you to a wait list and we would highly encourage that you do the same. This is a well loved restaurant that has been here nearly forever!!!! Do yourself a favor -if you are in A2 go to the west side and dine here!!
