Mushroom French dip with rosemary potatoes.

Great vegetarian/vegan spot with tons of options. They focus on making good food--not fake meat--which is refreshing. Comfortable, easy place to sit and enjoy a meal. Ann Arbor has been a longtime hub for vegetarian dining, and this place fits right in.

Large inside with plenty of tables.

My first time here. Apparently they used to be downtown and moved due to high prices downtown. My first impression walking in, extremely clean and comfortable. Alex was our waitress, it's easy to see how much she enjoys her job. Very personable. I ordered the pizza sandwich with a side of kale salad. It turned out to be amazing!

The service was fantastic. The employees were super kind even though I arrived within a half hour of closing, I was in and out within 45 minutes and it was perfect. The food was delicious, I was a fan of it all. The restaurant is really cute and well kept. I really look forward to trying more items from their menu soon!

farro bowl with subbed quinoa instead of farro and tofu added and a side of the thousand island. 100/100 so good.

Decent service ok ambiance and exceptional food!! The waitress recommended that I get the tofu instead of the tempeh and I'm so grateful that I listened. There was a substantial portion of tofu, and I dumped it onto my salad. I was able to substitute out the farro and add quinoa instead The combination of Apple, roasted sweet, potato, goat cheese, tofu, and the dressing was just incredible and so Fall. Hearty portion too. I would recommend everybody try it.

Great spot in Ann Arbor. Interior vibe is really unique, and menu had a ton of choices. Bartender gave a good run down of the menu and was quite helpful. Absolutely will come back next time I'm in town! 10/10 would recommend.

Love it. One of the best vegan friendly restaurants I've ever dined in. Service, ambiance, food, presentation etc - five stars! Price is average for the Ann Arbor area.. food is fresh, creative, incentive, tasty and original.. presentation is five stars.. Their brunch items are amazing and the desserts are something special.. they do have a very nice full service bar, too, with amazing drink specials and unique cocktail options! Hands down my new fave restaurant in the area.

The food is fabulous! Service was good. The restaurant is conveniently located with lots of parking. It is a bit loud (or maybe it was the table behind us, not sure!) The roasted beet and goat cheese ravioli was a daily special - I think they should add it to their regular menu! It was SO delicious! The ravioli was amply filled and the pasta was pretty perfectly cooked. The sauce was a shallot-chive cream sauce which was balanced and full of flavor. The taco salad had a lot of components; it's a bit messy, but super tasty! The guacamole is top notch. The grilled veggie salad was as expected. The kids quesadilla and fries were enjoyed by the little one! I love that they're vegan or vegetarian and can alter most dishes to accommodate your choice. They also have quite a few gluten free options. Definitely worth checking out!

My favorite vegetarian restaurant in the area. There are also a ton of vegan options as well, or dishes that you can modify to be vegan! Even if you aren't veggie, there's a lot of options that aren't tofu and lentils. They also have specials that they change out often, so there's always something new! One of the best parts of this place is the parking- usually Ann Arbor parking is a nightmare but at Seva's there's a huge lot. It's also a large restaurant, so I've never had to wait for a table. They're also super accommodating when we took my nephew with us who was a baby.

Tempeh Reuben Sandwich, Yam Fries + Vegan Dipping Sauce

I'm not vegetarian or vegan, but love that this option is around for tasty veg food! It has a nice interior and ambiance for a sit down meal - solo, with friends, on a date, it'd all work. Today I went in for a quick lunch and got their Tempeh Reuben with came with a pickle spear and side of choice. I got the Yam Fries w/Vegan Spicy Mayo sauce. All were great! The yam fries were hot and fresh, with the perfect amount of crisp on the outside. The Reuben was melty and flavorful. I got it with regular cheese but there's the option to get vegan cheese instead. The bottom piece of bread did get a bit soggy over the course of the meal, but that's minor. Overall it was a filling lunch. Could probably be split between 2 friends. 4 stars instead of 5 just because in prior experiences coming here with friends, seems like sometimes the dishes can be a little hit or miss depending on what you get.

This is our 2nd or 3rd visit after going to Motor City Comic-Con. There is something for everyone! Great customer service, attentive and friendly. We ordered Gouda tots and General Tso's Cauliflower for appetizers. They are both delicious and the best cauliflower I've had that's lightly battered and a hint of spice. I ordered Mac and cheese with side salad. It was piping hot and cheesy, perfection! My husband ordered the burrito with rice and beans. My cousin had the beyond burger with yam fries, which were hot and well seasoned. Next visit, I'd like to try a cocktail!

A vegetarian paradise. Wow, I have only good things to say about this quirky vegetarian eatery. The menu is a bit limited, but full of scrumptious vegan and vegetarian friendly fare, including brunch, lunch and dinner entrees, plus desserts and a full bar (they offer some alcohol free "mocktails"). There's not one thing on the menu that I wouldn't recommend. Last trip here, I had the pizza pest sandwich with sweet potato fries- this has got to be one one the best sandwiches I've ever had. Oh and the sweet potato fries were so good I forgot they are technically 'healthier.' I had vegan pumpkin cheesecake to top it off, and it was delicious, still rich and with a great flavor profile.. you wouldn't know it's vegan based off flavor or textures.. I've had brunch/breakfast here a few times and the breakfast dishes taste top notch, rich in flavor and presentation is first class.. I've tried the baked mac and cheese a few times- both the regular version and the vegan option- both are rich, creamy and delicious, and portion sizes are just right.. it rivals Zingerman's!! I liked the ambiance and decor, very zen and relaxing.. service is always quite decent and only once did we have a very long wait to get food (I believe a football game was happening that day in Ann Arbor). Prices are a bit high, but on par with the local area.. Overall, a five star restaurant with great food, service, ambience and a nice focus on vegetarian friendly dishes..

We were welcomed in right away and I loved the friendly employees. The menu is completely vegetarian and many items can be made vegan. There is an Asian influence with lots of Korean flavors as well as Indian inspired dishes. We ordered the fried tofu sandwich with fries and the seaweed rolls (gimmari). Our food came out quickly and everything was hot and fresh. The fries were a large portion and super tasty (like McDonald's). I loved the seaweed mayo on the tofu sandwich as it does make it taste like a fish sandwich! The bread was a bit tough for eating as a sandwich but the flavors were great. The gimmari were a little mushy inside but the ssamjang mayo was savory and delicious. They have a cooler of interesting drinks -- I loved that some are labeled with descriptions. They also have other items for sale, like ramen pots, snacks, and stickers. I got a couple of packs of Oreos and some stickers and a postcard. I will definitely be back to try more food! The jjajangbap is calling my name, yum!

Shoutout to my friend and fellow foodie Tiffany for always being down to try a new spot together!…read moreWe did a double date at El Harissa recently and it's my favorite kind of spot - welcoming and warm, with delicious food, and kind, patient employees. The cafe is a few tables inside of the market/deli, with a lot of takeout happening but I love that they offer dining in as they heat everything up for you and it's all presented very nicely. We ordered a ton of things: harissa dip, hummus, pita, spice roasted cauliflower, tabbouleh, lasagne verde, chicken tagine, and gelato. I loved that the menu indicates which menu items have a smaller carbon footprint - and we happened to be dining there on Earth Day! The food was all flavorful and the perfect temperature, which I appreciated. My favorites were the harissa dip, tabbouleh, and the lasagne verde. The chicken tagine was very good, and we enjoyed the leftovers the next day. The spice roasted cauliflower left us wanting it to be a bit more crispy, but it was a nice side. The gelato is delicious - it's made by Palazzolo's but El Harissa provides them with the unique ingredients for their specialty flavors. They were out of some but we got to sample several. We ended up with the roasted pistachio gelato and the apricot peach cardamom. The texture of the gelato was perfectly creamy and the flavors were strong. The market has lots of great items to buy: chips, tunisian olive wood pieces, spices, etc. I'm so glad we sought out this spot and can't wait to get more of their food!

I also like the harissa dip it came with! *Small Merguez Meatballs (Inspired by the Maghrebi sausage, our spiced lamb and beef meatballs are hand-rolled with onions and herbs and coated with a thick tomato sauce. Served with saffron rice or couscous - small portion came with 3 for $10): For meatballs that included lamb - it wasn't gamey at all and very tasty! I picked cous cous for my side. *Chicken Chermoula (Brined, seared, then baked to capture all of its flavor, our crowd-favorite chicken is juicy and delicious. Served over rice with our herby, garlicky, lemony Chermoula Sauce - Double Portion - $18): Our main entree to share. The lemony chermoula sauce was delish. Chicken was perfectly cooked - not dry at all! Mujadara Rice (A Levantine staple of spiced green lentils and rice. Ours is adorned with carefully caramelized golden onions for a touch of savory-sweetness - small for $8) - SO tasty! I could eat this on its own. Maghrebi Chili (Smoky and spicy. Ground beef seasoned with Harissa spices and slowly cooked with chickpeas, lentils, black beans, peppers, and loads of vegetables - Small/Pint - $9.50) - FIBER CITY! Flavors were really good! We also had SO much gelato - they basically let us sample all of them. ended up with the pistachio and tiramisu. I'll be back - especially for a salad with their wonderful chicken - seems like a great healthy option!
