I usually order delivery from this location, but stopped in most recently on a weekday lunch. It was popping and they have limited seating but I was able to snag a table. I tried the seasonal special which was the Winter Harvet Bowl (warm maple-glazed squash, charred balsamic cabbage, roasted chicken, shredded kale, wild rice, apples, roasted almonds, and goat cheese with a balsamic vinaigrette.) The charred balsamic cabbage was a stand out! As per Sweetgreen usu, my order was super fresh and I felt like the portion was really good for what I paid for. I usually have enough to eat 1.5 meals from it. read more

We seek out Sweetgreen whenever we go to any big city because their salads are so delicious. We love their unique combinations and the fact that they use organic greens. This location is especially friendly and efficient. Crispy rice salad and chicken avodaco rice are both a 5/5. read more

I love a hearty grain bowl or salad when I'm in a mood for something healthy yet filling. I'm happy they opened a Sweetgreen in Ann Arbor. I went for my lunch break to pick up some bowls for my coworkers and I. I only wish it wasn't downtown because parking is terrible. It's located in a busy part of State St. where tons of cars and pedestrian traffic (especially college kids) are. I got the shroomami bowl and it was really good. The tofu was cooked perfectly, but the mushrooms were a little on the salty side. It paired well with the kale. I substituted the raw beets for roasted sweet potatoes. I'm so glad I did because it was really good. The portions are bigger than I imagined. I had some leftover for later. read more

Good food with good service. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. It's a nice lunch spot to visit. I recommend!

I order Sweetgreen at least once a week from several locations. This State St location consistently skimps on portions. My salad bowl today was half full, and has been in past but ONLY from this location. For that reason I will not order from SG State St again. read more

When someone tells you they don't like salad. It's because they have never been to a place like this. Think Chipotle but healthier. I have been here over a dozen times since they opened and I am obsessed! I could eat salads everyday if they were from here. The ingredients are fresh and delicious. Who knew you could feel soooo full from a salad. Seriously even if you think "oh I'm not a salad person" you should give it a try! The employees and are so nice and everything is really clean. read more

Quality: 3.5/5 Hospitality: 3/5 Value: 2.5/5 The portion sizes certainly felt underwhelming or maybe it was the employee's fault. There was so much space gap between the lid and bowl which made it feel disappointing. It is supposed to be a healthier version of chipotle but I didn't feel satisfied. In terms of quality, the fresh ingredients were spot on, but the sauces were questionable. Decent place but wouldn't consider going again read more

This place is incredible! So fresh and filling, which I usually have an issue with when it's a salad. Building your own salad is what I usually go for and I get the best crunch per bite ratio. I recommend the green goddess dressing for sure! It's SO good!!! It would be a great place to study or just go to eat with someone, the seating is comfy and lighting sets a clean vibe. Service is quick and friendly read more

I'm obsessed! I've ordered this garden cobb salad 3 times in the last week. It's so fresh & flavorful! Highly recommend! They also have an app & monthly subscription with $3 off each salad per day! Love! read more

New Sweetgreen location on a very busy road. This location has always given me all the right ingredients, and makes orders quickly. I find that for the price, you don't really get that much food, the portions are small. However, you get the most in the bowls. My go to order is the harvest bowl, add cucumber, chickpeas, and tomato, pesto dressing and a lime. read more

Love the healthy salad options using only organic ingredients. I am a vegan and love, love this place. Can't wait to sit outside once it is warm enough! Lots of options for everyone! Everything is fresh and I walk out full!!! read more

When I heard that a Sweetgreen was coming to Ann Arbor, I was so excited. SG is one of the things I missed most about living in DC (SG is based in DC and they are everywhere there). However, I was disappointed in this location. While the salad was good, it was not of the quality I had come to expect of Sweetgreen. Furthermore, they really skimped on the serving size at this location. Usually the salad is filled to the brim, but at the Ann Arbor location my salad was only half full. Quite sad to have my enthusiasm be stifled by this. However, this may be due to the location being so new. I plan to come again later and try again once the dust of the grand opening settles. I am optimistic that this location will improve. read more

If anything goes wrong on a weekend you're on your own. The phone lines direct you to the website, the website customer support isn't staffed on the weekend. The automated phone call has no way to connect you with an employee in the store to speak with someone who may help fix your issue. I'm absolutely baffled at the set up, completely disappointing. read more

Best Caesar salad I've ever had. Large serving, fresh and delicious! I'll be eating here again.

Sweet green was nice. I ordered takeout here and honestly the salad was great. Their chicken actually tastes good and I can say that this was one of the best salads of my life. read more

I love the concept and the interior design here and I really hope this business stays around. There arnt a ton of places where you can get healthy food like this. I feel like the other reviews that rated lower stars are very harsh and they arnt taking into consideration that this location just opened up and there are obviously going to be some supply chain issues until everything is figured out. I think in a few months this location will be a consistent source of quality healthy food. read more

The food is pretty good. Modern spin on salads and protein bowls. I think it's a little bit expensive for the amount of food get. However, the Arbor Hills location has a parking lot and that is a convenience. The service is professional counter service. There are to-go spots for mobile ordering. The ambiance is nice and simple. Not fussy or pretentious. read more

They just made their bowls like half the size they used to be and are still charging the same amount, which has always been way too much for a salad in the first place. I would still pay almost $20 for a salad because they're pretty good tasting for a "convince food" type of service and you'd get a good amount but that's not the case anymore. I don't think I can justify eating here as easily now. Huge bummer. read more

For a sweet green it's great! Clean, quick service, and nice rotating menu. Overall salads are good, some great standouts like the crispy rice one! read more

Wonderful. New fresh ambience. Fresh salad bar with huge variety of ingredients. I had thin sliced kale, wild rice, roasted mushrooms, roasted tofu, corn, quinoa, with a miso dressing. My husband had romaine, rice, chicken, garbanza, cukes, apples, ranch dressing. Perfect lunches. We will return. read more

They have increased their serving sizes to the usual sweetgreen size since opening! I've been going to sweetgreen since their first location in Georgetown. They still have some issues to work out such as multiple employees way overdressing the salad even when you say light (so now I just get it on the side) and today my order for pick up didn't have the almonds it should. read more

This was fire. Price was wild but the salad could probably be split between 2 people it was huge. Definitely recommend

THE BEST. Love having a quick and healthy option near campus/downtown. They are usually pretty busy but the order ahead is great and they have a good amount of seating for the space given. The food is delicious and it's a fun, clean and hip space. read more

First time trying sweet green. The staff super helpful and friendly. I made my own bowl. It was very good! Super helalthy choices and truly tastes really good and is really fresh. A must try! read more

I was really excited to try this place but unfortunately was not very good. We got the Kale Caesar Salad and the Chicken Avocado Ranch plate. The chicken avocado plate was an extremely small portion, the salad portion was fine. Both were pretty bland and just not really worth it. I don't usually write reviews but overall wasn't impressed unfortunately. I also added the hot sweet potatoes to the salad for a $2.00 up charge and pretty sure they gave me the regular ones that are 50¢ or they're just really bland. read more

My daughter is celiac and has twice gotten sick from cross-contamination at this Sweetgreen. Maybe they are cutting salad/vegetables on a cutting board that they also cut the bread. Sweetgreen management, PLEASE ensure your team keeps breadcrumbs separate from everything else so that celiacs can eat without worry. read more

Over cooked chicken, random ingredients thrown in a bowl that don't really make sense. BBQ sauce on salmon is a sacrilege. Go somewhere else... for dinner read more

Super healthy options that even the pickiest eater will love. All of the food containers, eating utensils, menus etc are compostable which is awesome. The servers making the bowls are friendly and can accommodate reasonable requests for substitutions. Highly recommend the Crispy Rice bowl. We also had the Harvest Bowl and that was very good too. There is not a lot of seating so take out is a great option if the restaurant is busy. High quality ingredients will bring me back next time I am in town. read more

Food is great service is great good ambiance. I eat here 4 times a month! Can't get enough

Thrilled to have the privilege to enjoy sweetgreen in Ann Arbor! The greens are clean and crisply fresh, the combinations refreshing and interesting, and many ingredients are organic. I like the transparency of where the food comes from. I could live on SG and wish they had a "meal plan" to do so. This new SQ also has a kids menu too. read more

when will this open!! we can't wait to have sweetgreen salads every single day! our favorite food

Ordered food today from Sweetgreen through their own app. When it arrived from a door dash driver only 4/7 of the items arrived. I attempted to call the store to rectify the situation, but they had an automated response saying they weren't open, which is incorrect since the website says they are open and are clearly taking orders on the app. There was no way to speak to a person and the automated customer service AI in the app tried to just give me a $12 store credit for 3 missing bowls despite paying for those 3 bowls as well as tip, tax, service fee, and delivery fee. There could have been an easy solution for the home store to rectify the situation and send the three bowls they forgot to include when to door dasher came, except the organization and the local store both had systems in place to prevent customers from speaking to a person and getting the help they need. I had ordered sweet green fairly regularly prior to this but am terribly disappointed by a horrible customer service experience and I'm also hungry since my food never arrived. read more
