However this place was AMAZING and lives up to the hype. I got the Zingerman's reuben and what blew me away was the meat. The corned beef was so soft, flavorful, moist, perfectly seasoned, and the whole sandwich just came together so well with a vinegary taste so you don't get bored of the meat, and soft well toasted bread that doesn't cut up your mouth. Maybe I have only eaten at subpar delis my whole life? Although the sandwich here is pricey, I would say it's well worth it for the quality. The sandwich is pretty large too - my friends were all overstuffed after finishing the default size. The potatoes from the deli are a nice addition too. If you visit Michigan, you need to try this place!

You might even feel like taking them to-go because they're so big and stuffed. This time, I tried the roast beef sandwich -- it was super tasty and flavorful. Personally, I love my sandwiches warmed, so if I had known it would be served cold, I would've asked for it to be heated. It also came with chips, which was a nice touch. You can tell this place is well-loved and popular , the service is fast compared to the crowd, and there's a lovely outdoor seating area that's perfect for nice weather. It's located right next to the University of Michigan, making it a great lunch stop between classes or after campus events. I'd definitely come back to try other sandwiches next time!

I walked in and what I assume is the owner is barking at the customers "what do you want, spit it out, okay, next!, what do you want? I GOT THE PHONE!" I wasn't sure if he was joking or what, I assume joking but that was my very first impression walking in and it didn't set a great tone for me. The food redeemed it tho. I got the #19 sandwich and it's a HONKER! It's huge. Plenty of food for 14$. Also tried the donuts and bagels. Everything was really solid. Overall not a great first impression walking in but would be back if in the area.

Good lord that's what you come here for. A line 10 people deep at high noon. Glory be to the stromboli king. I'm not sure if tomate sauce is available, I saw none so this is indeed a pizza pocket. All of the above way to much to eat for a 350lb dude who knows how to pack it away. Total coast was $8.50 ish. A single stromboli is more than enough to stuff 90% of the populate

I got the buffalo chicken salad, which essentially was just a couple handfuls of spinach leaves for the most part, packaged sauces to put on it, and then maybe about five small pieces of chicken in the entire thing. Pretty disappointing. The sub version of the buffalo chicken at least seemed to have a better amount of chicken in it.
