1st time here on Sunday July 26, 2026. I'm not a wine drinker but my friends are. Therefore I'm the designated driver for my friends. We arrived around 1:30pm. There's plenty of parking. If you park at the overflow parking area there is a driver with his golf cart that will drop you off at the entrance. The place was pretty packed. My friends went to the tasting area and was greeted my Sara. Sara made great suggestions which my friends enjoyed all of them. I ordered the charcuterie board which was $52.00. Charcuterie board with cheese, almonds, candied pecans, slices of meat, peaches, grapes, strawberries, fig jam was delicious, but $52.00 is ridiculously expensive. We had reservations for 2:30pm for the on ground restaurant Gaspar's. The outside patio area was nice but it was a hot day. Thank goodness there were huge umbrella coverings for the seating area. We sat there listening to live music which was nice. I did bring my hand held portable fan which came in handy. We all really enjoyed this winery as most definitely will be back.
First time at Temecula wineries and I found a GEM! Altisima Winery has it all.. great wine selection, beautiful atmosphere and an incredible tasting bar host...our guy Jay was a 10/10! Jay was a lot of fun and a great introduction to the Temecula wine world!
A time was had. This was my first ever winery experience and it was to celebrate my friends Isabel Irma's birthday. She had made the reservation for us, she's a Temecula girly so we drove up from San Diego and again, a time was had. There is ample parking so don't be worried if you come and the scene here is just stunning. We were a little early waiting for the birthday girl so we checked in and roamed around the restaurant, it's is just so beautiful. Once we all arrived we were sat outside which I was a little nervous for, considering the temperature, but they started misting and everything cooled down. For drinks, I ordered the pina colada while my friends ordered the mango froze, guava froze and sangria. We opted for appetizers instead of meals since we were going to be having a big meal later that day. Our drinks were strong, since I was driving I opted to drink half of my cocktail and give the rest to the birthday girl. Out of the drinks I would definitely say the guava was my favorite, it was perfectly sweet and if I wasn't driving I would have drank my first and ordered the other. We ordered the potatoes bravas, calamari and empenadas, the food came out so quickly and between the four of us we devoured it. The calamari were my favorites and especially loved the fried peppers! Would definitely recommend this place, the food was delicious, drinks were perfect and refreshing, views are stunning and service was fast and attentive!
Altísima winery is a great spot to catch up with friends! My friends and I have wine club membership and is totally worth it! They always have fresh food and the best wine! Their service is prompt and they have an organized system for when it does get busy. Will keep coming back here when we visit our friend in Temecula!
Altisima Winery is such a beautiful place! The views are absolutely stunning and create the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind. The wine was excellent, and the live music added a mellow, enjoyable vibe that made the experience even better. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, going on a date, or simply spending time with friends, this is a wonderful spot to visit. I'll definitely be back! I gave it 4 out of 5 stars only because I think the patio could use more umbrellas. During the summer in Temecula, the California sun can be intense, and there are only a few shaded tables in what is otherwise a fantastic outdoor seating area. Adding more shade would make the experience even better.
It was a busy Saturday as the weather was gorgeous. It was tough to get pours and i thought the wine was ok. Ambiance was nice at the tasting bar. However service could improve as felt I had to flag someone to get the next pour even when the crowd dissipated
Checked this place out last spring with 3 friends for wine tasting experience. We got sitted right away in the patio, without reservation. Ordered wine and charcuterie board, it was good amount of portion for 4. Our server was attentive and made sure we were okay. Place is nice to hang around for a bit to take pictures. Overall, it's a nice experience and will definitely recommend to Yelpers.

Came to visit the winery on a Sunday morning to celebrate some birthdays, and we went upstairs to have glasses of champagne and enjoy the views. We had previously had lunch and drinks during the weekend and so we decided to just out for drinks upstairs in the members lounge, although we would've liked to have had food served upstairs. Our overall experience with the winery has always been plentiful and joyous with the memories we have with family and friends. The parking is a little sparse, but the service and accommodations have always been five star. I would recommend this winery as one of your stops to enjoy your day.
Went to Temecula for a day trip with the girls. Altisima was our first stop. We had reservations at 1130 for brunch on a Saturday. The place was decent, got sat right away, and took our time ordering food and drinks. 4 drinks, 4 entrees, and 2 appetizers to share came out to about 85$ a person including tip. The food wasn't amazing, but rather decent. Some of us liked the calamari, but I didn't like it as much. I should have tried their ceviche. I ordered their tomato pasta with salmon. The salmon was way overcooked and dry. Wasn't worth what I paid for it. Eventually a live ban started playing. Lots of outdoor seating and spots to take pictures. Staff members were nice and place was clean. We were celebrating belated birthdays so they gave us churros which were good and came in perfect bite size.
Love this place!!!! It has an absolutely amazing view of the mountains and rolling hills. I was so amazed by how dynamic this place was between quiet chills afternoons and entertaining/loud evenings with live music. They also offer some good food (fries), really good margaritas (they have a full bar), and great tasting wine slushies ! I love the friendly staff with the extra / heavy-handed pours that I even proposed to my girlfriend here ....she said YES! 100% recommend this place.
The environment here is great. The location is picturesque. There are so many reasons to visit here. The location, the wine of course, the decor and set up. Just beautiful. The atmosphere is perfect for day drinking. My friend has a membership, so we were able to be seated upstairs on the 2nd level in the members' lounge. It felt like VIP getting in that elevator. I love the view from up there. I did not drink the wine but from what I saw, the pours were very generous. The property is well kept. It is beautiful and modern with an extremely accommodating staff. Our group had a wonderful time. I will definitely visit this winery again so I can get the full experience.

What a lovely venue! I work in wine country and this new location is just stunning. The views are beautiful and they allow children on the weekends. They have live music on Saturdays and there's a covered patio with misters where they serve lunch, dinner, coffee's, and more to their guests. Our favorite wines were the Zinfandel and the Viogne. Beautiful branding and beautiful space. The employees are lovely. Visit! You will not be disappointed!! read more

The service was quick and friendly, and the food was delicious. The steak had good seasoning but was cooked longer than requested, although it wasn't a big issue for us. We arrived in the late afternoon on a Saturday, around sunset, and the views and ambiance were great, but it was extremely busy. Just something to keep in mind if you prefer less of a crowd. read more

Nice, newer winery in Temecula. Easy to get to and plenty of parking. The service was good and t was nice inside, although a little boring. The outside was full so we stood inside at the bar so maybe that was why it was a bit boring. The gentleman helping us was very nice and knew a good deal about the wine. This is a new winery in Temecula and we got good first impression after visiting their location for the first time and sampling some wines. We were very keen on trying their restaurant too and decided to come back here on our wedding anniversary day. Unfortunately, we couldn't be more disappointed. We didn't have reservation, however, we got seated right away by the bar area. The restaurant looks very modern but please make sure to adjust your dining table legs so that they are not wobbly and cause potential risk of drink spillage. It took around 5 min to have our server to come greet us and take drinks order. I order sangria and wouldn't recommend it. It was water down wine with club soda. I replaced it with another beverage. Once we placed food order, it took over 20 min to get bowl of olives and toasted bread with chopped tomatoes and sprinkle of salt. The olives were good. Our server was mainly serving drinks at the bar and didn't have much time to be more attentive. There were many servers around that could have helped her in the bar area but this wasn't the case. It took more than 30 min since we finished starters and there was still no sign of the entrées. We were told that they were being plated but after additional 15 min we just approached floor Manager and after explaining the situation we asked to charge us for the drinks and starters and cancel remainder of our order. The Manager apologised but at that time it was too much trouble for us and we didn't feel welcome any more. The Manager voided our full order and offered drinks and starters on the house. It was nice gesture which we appreciated. It's a shame as we had high hopes for this winery. read more

My new favorite winery in Temecula!! I have been waiting for them to finally open all year! It's in a beautiful location! I absolutely loved drinking my glass of wine while looking out at the view this winery has to offer. They also serve food here which makes me excited to try it the next time I come back. They have plenty of parking and seating outside. The tasting room is absolutely stunning inside and the up stairs members lounge is gorgeous. I am definitely coming back here! In the tasting room Daley was our server and she was amazing and helpful. She was friendly and gave us great recommendations! I loved their Chardonnay 2019 and El Rey 2018! Went here on a Saturday afternoon to eat at their restaurant Gaspar's. We were a party of 6 and they seated us after a 15 minute wait. I was pleasantly surprised at how short the wait was. Their outdoor restaurant seating is beautiful. The view is amazing and the live music was perfect, not too loud, so still enjoyable & able to hear when conversing! I ordered the grilled cheese with truffle fries, I loved it! Very filling and delicious. The wine selection was great as well. I would definitely return. read more

Driving down De Portola...are they open yet? No not yet. Finally they've opened now for a week. Growing pains and organizational creativity at work. Beautifully done and built out, its spacious with glorious decorating and million dollar views of wine country. We started off our experience wine tasting. Delightful reds, loved the Garnacha and the Sangiovese. Bigger reds are blended and taste well. They also have thier own version of the Temecula Valley GSM. Gaspar's Restaurant was delightful, with lots of seats and misters. We ordered calimari and burrata and bread for a starter. It was good. For our main we had the burger and fries. Both were good. Service was good also. The only dessert was churros and personally didn't care for. There's an upstairs members only area bar and patio that is accessed by way of an elevator. Right now the general public is allowed to use as they let people look around. We enjoyed the winery and look forward to many more visits. Cheers! read more
This is a great new winery. The views from the members balcony are gorgeous. The winery itself is immaculate (think Chip and Joanna). The staff are very helpful and do a great job while the winery is new and working out the kinks. The wine here is also good. I am a red wine drinker and I like their blend the best, while my husband likes their Cabernet Sauvignon the best. Plenty of spots to take beautiful pictures. read more

The fun part about living in Temecula Valley Wine Country is watching and anticipating the opening of new wineries in the area. Altisima is one we have been watching for a while as they broke ground and as the building started to form into what it is today--a gorgeous winery! The wines are Spanish varietals, which seem to do well growing in this area. Their current offering of wines are from grapes sourced from Temecula and Paso Robles. No estate grapes in their wine list offering just yet. Their tasting menu includes a nice variety of whites and reds. There were four of us tasting, which gave me a chance to try several of their wines. I must say there was not a one that I tried that I did not like! With Marshall Stuart as the head wine maker and showing the ropes to Chris, the chances were good for very good wines (and they are!). After wine tasting Denise, our server, took us for a quick tour of the members only upstairs area. IT IS GORGEOUS! The views, the inside and outside seating areas . . . I could see spending a lot of time in this wine club area! On our first day here we also had lunch at their restaurant, Gaspar's, located on the ground floor. You will see more beautiful views from the outside dining area. There is also an inside dining area. It's pretty spacious. We had calamari and burrata for starters and burgers with fries for our meal. The burger is huge and juicy and enough for two people to share. Starters and fried were also very good. Good service too. Franco, the restaurant manager stopped by to make sure all was good. We were so impressed with our first wine tasting and visit to the restaurant that we joined their wine club. Why: affordable wines, onsite restaurant, good wine club member benefits, gorgeous views, the staff makes you feel welcomed, good vibe feelings. There are not yet plans for wine club member events, but I am sure that is only a matter of time. The only downside for us is it is not dog friendly. When visiting, please remember that the winery has only recently opened and be patient as the winery and staff settle in. *Footnote: we returned the next day, and saw many locals checking it out. I think they will have no problem growing their list of wine club members. I just hope the party buses stay away for a while . . . read more

Beautiful setting. Beautiful views! I didn't do the wine tasting just came for lunch. I ordered their burger and white merlot. Burger was good , Merlot was more on the sweet side. Service was good but it took a little while to get lunch. We were a large group. Unfortunately where I was seated 2 of us were sitting with our backs to the sun, and it got really hot, we asked but no one was able to bring an umbrella to block the sun. Tip make sure to get seated in complete shade the temecula heat can get really hot. read more

Second time here and it did not disappoint! We did a wine tasting and it was awesome! Joe was our man and he gave us great suggestions and good pours! We were able to walk around the grounds with our wine. Did I mention all the seating and views! Sorry no pics you'll just have to go see! We also got dinner here and it was good! Ambiance: 5/5 - modern, bright, upscale - live music: solo Spanish guitar - great for couples and/or gatherings Service: 4/5 Waitress was polite and attentive for a busy Saturday. We had an amazing afternoon at Altissima winery in Temecula. The winery is Spanish driven with excellent food to pair with their deep reds and soon to be famous Bubbly Rose! Gaspar's restaurant has breathtaking views that are only surpassed by the incredible food. Every single menu item is delicious. I love bold reds and their cab is perfect for me. I typically HATE Rose but they have a bubbly Rose that is mandatory for summer! We were luck enough to meet Jay and signed up for the wine club (which is a great deal and flexible). Tastings are $25. I don’t think outside food is allowed since they have a restaurant. We never bring in outside food.
