He even discovered a damaged wire in one of my walls and went above and beyond to get everything working through another cable port. He was incredibly patient while I shifted things around so he could reach the panel in my closet, and he also helped me update my SSID and password, which I really appreciated! Did a wifi speed test right after and it matched the target right off the bat! Highly recommend Bai Connect/Zentro--their value for the speeds totally beat out AT&T/Spectrum (not to mention headache-free!)--and I'm super happy with Jeff's excellent service!

This is a terrible ISP and no one should give them their business. The #1 issue is that if you ever…read morehave a problem with your internet that requires anything more than merely restarting your modem you are going to be placed in technical support limbo for days, weeks, and maybe even months. As noted in other reviews, the way in which the customer service works is by transferring you to a representative that at best can only ask you to unplug your router and plug it back in again. If you have a more serious problem, then the best they can do is refer you to their mysterious "tier 2" team. They will tell you that your issue has been escalated and to expect a call back the same day or the following day. Currently, I have been waiting back to hear from this team for a month. I have called over and over again and I am unable to reach a single individual who can help me with my problem. This is a nightmare for someone who works at home and requires stable internet to do their job well. Reading other reviews and looking online demonstrates that this is a common enough problem that signing up for this service is a bad idea. If you are searching for an apartment and you find one that offers BAI connect, I encourage you to keep searching and to tell the apartment management that you will not be submitting an application because of the ISP they chose. Trust me, you do not want to be stuck in this hellish scenario of wasting hours of your time weeks on end to get no where. What you are paying for is just not worth it. I have been a customer of ATT and Spectrum, while both have their failings, I can at the very least say that I was able to get a hold of someone who could help me eventually. If your service works as intended, then great, but do not get fooled by reviews written in the best of circumstances. If one thing goes wrong you are going to suffer for it because they are either too lazy, incompetent, or just plain spiteful to help you get your issue resolved. Finally, if this review speaks to your own experience, please leave your own review on yelp and file a complaint with the FTC. They are defrauding their customers on the most basic level by denying them access to adequate customer support. Further, make your voice heard and force apartment buildings to seek better service providers. Avoid BAI connect at all costs.

Spectrum - High Speed Internet

AbWe chose Spectrum over three years ago because it was the only affordable internet option…read moreavailable in our area. For the first couple of years, things were mostly fine. Unfortunately, the last three experiences completely changed my opinion of this company. The first issue started when we had streaming problems. I upgraded our internet plan online to see if it would help. While upgrading was incredibly easy (one click), downgrading was not possible through the app. You are required to call in, which already feels like a deliberately one sided and scammy practice. When I called to downgrade, I was on the phone for over an hour. The agent repeatedly refused to process the downgrade, aggressively pushed me to keep the higher plan, and then began upselling a "free" cell phone. I clearly stated multiple times that I did not want a phone. The agent framed it as "free" for an extra $10 a month, implying it would essentially replace the cost of my previous internet plan. At one point, the agent literally told me I would be stupid not to take the deal. I acknowledge that I should have done more due diligence, but the language and pressure tactics used were completely unprofessional. I eventually agreed just to get off the phone so I wouldn't be late to work. Months later, I discovered I owed over $250 to pay off the phone after the promotional period ended. The agent would not take no for an answer and used manipulation and intimidation to close the sale. The second major issue occurred when I needed to cancel service due to moving out of the area. The agent, named "Angel" (ironically), was clearly trained to resist cancellation at all costs. He repeatedly asked me to find friends or family to take over my service, then suggested I ask my landlord to transfer it to the next tenant. I said no multiple times and explained I was uncomfortable and did not have time for that. No one should be pressured into recruiting others just to cancel a utility service. The agent then told me cancellation would take 35 minutes and that I had to stay on the line the entire time, not on hold. This made no sense, especially compared to every other utility I canceled quickly and easily due to a move. Once I firmly stated I would no longer engage in conversation, the service was suddenly canceled within 15 minutes. My final issue is that since scheduling our cancellation (and paying for an additional billing period), our internet quality has noticeably declined. Streaming issues and speed problems began immediately. We've had to continuously restart the router, even though both the app and router report no issues. I strongly suspect intentional throttling now that service is ending. If any attorneys happen to read this and are interested in speaking with me, I would be more than willing to share my experiences. I highly doubt I am alone in these circumstances. When I previously attempted to file a complaint about my first encounter, the Spectrum agent told me it was "my problem," which speaks volumes about the company's culture. I'm aware that by writing this review Spectrum likely won't care or respond meaningfully, but potential customers should know this is a company driven by corporate greed and sales metrics, not customer service or ethical treatment. Overall, Spectrum trains their agents to be manipulative, controlling, and aggressive. Canceling service should not require standing your ground repeatedly or enduring intimidation. If I had another option, I would never choose Spectrum again.

Phone calls were dropping at alarming rates and internet access was at best sporadic. Not good. Our IT Consultant recommended DigiLink and during our preliminary meetings with them, we grilled them mercilessly with how they would handle each and every nightmare situation that we had been dealing with. Finally assured that they were the ones, we committed to an entire new phone system - no small commitment. We have never looked back. Let's talk customer service first. When there's an issue and you call DigiLink - their easy voice navigation system gets you to a live person - in record time! Their incredible desire and commitment to resolving an issue is textbook perfect. Technical mishaps happen. Upstream carriers fail and that has a rippling effect. But it's how DigiLink responds that was what mattered. They communicated their progress and followed up to make sure all was back to normal. They never lost their personal touch even as I saw them grow which is what should happen. Throughout the years, our commitment with them grew. We added additional sophisticated systems and with their incredible service, there is no downtime to complain about. Internet speeds are absolutely rocket speed - no small feat for an advertising agency. I seriously wish other companies would use their customer service as a template

The download speeds are at or near the promised 1 GB, what makes fiber different is the upload speed is also identical. I did hesitate becoming a Frontier customer given their past reputation for poor customer service, but that hasn't been my experience. I've had service techs visit me twice, both on time and successful with their service. Price point is a bIt higher than the competing cable service (then again, you kinda have to get their cell service to get the best deal). Still, service has been fast, mostly trouble-free, and consistent.

I originally ordered service on March 31st... and it's been a mess ever since. I've had multiple appointments confirmed, all requiring someone to be home for a 4-hour window, and not a single technician has shown up. I call the day before, the day of, and each time I'm assured someone is coming, only for no one to arrive. The number of hours I've spent waiting around and on the phone (over an hour today) is honestly unbelievable (and not in a good way). What's even more frustrating is the lack of communication and coordination, internally, they don't even seem aligned on what's happening. At this point, I'm beyond frustrated but stuck due to limited options. If you have a choice go elsewhere, do it.

We live in the South Bay in house that was built in 1921 with lath and plaster so getting good WiFi is not easy. Brian spent a few hours assessing our entire house, Sonos system and TV's. He provided a thorough, detailed proposal that addressed our needs. He did not try to nickel and dime us or oversell as others tried to do. Brian goes above and beyond (went to Home Depot to buy mat black paint to hide marks behind the media room TV). The 4 people who work for him are impeccable and care about the job being done beautifully. We are so appreciative of his work and follow through. UPDATE: THIS CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE IS NOW SUSPENDED DUE TO REFUSAL TO PAY A COURT ORDERED…read moreJUDGEMENT. My initial review stated that I was forced to file a lawsuit against Brian Staller / Circuit Genius (legally known as: Performance Telecomm) for breach of contract. The matter is now permanently settled by the court. After the vendor filed an appeal, the Los Angeles Superior Court ruled in my favor and found Circuit Genius / Performance Telecomm liable for breach of contract. Owner Brian Staller calls this a "frivolous lawsuit" in his response to my initial review, but the facts prove otherwise. In his response to my first post, Brian called the lawsuit "bananas-level false" and "frivolous." The fact that I won a judgment against this company not once, but twice--once at trial and again on appeal--means that two judges ruled in my favor, finding Circuit Genius / Performance Telecomm in breach of contract. The court's decision validated the vendor's refusal to honor two key contractual agreements: 1. The Refund Scam: The vendor refused to process an agreed-upon refund for a Yamaha receiver (which the contract stated had "No restock fee if not wanted"). Instead, he attempted to coerce me into a "settlement" that required me to sign a document agreeing to no online reviews, legal proceedings, chargeback attempts or warranty support for work done. 2. Deceptive Practices: After agreeing in writing to return to my home and install a network rack at "no extra charge," he later refused to do so unless I paid a new 2-hour service minimum. He then withheld equipment that I had already paid for and refused to refund the cost of that equipment. **This Contractor is now a Regulatory Liability** More than six months after the final judgment, Brian Staller / Circuit Genius / Performance Telecomm has refused to pay the court-ordered debt. His failure to comply with the judgment has resulted in severe disciplinary action: 1. License Suspension: The Contractors State License Board (CSLB), has suspended his license for failure to comply with an outstanding civil judgment. (See CSLB Record for Performance Telecomm; License 117708). 2. Business Lien: I have filed a lien against this business to attempt to enforce the judgement owed (See State of California Notice of Judgement Lien; File No: U250127585224). This business employs deceptive practices and does not honor contractual agreements. Brian is desperate to get 5-star reviews and refuses to accept anything less even if it means bullying and using intimidation tactics with his customers. A business that ignores its legal obligations, has a lien against it, and has its state license suspended should be a major red flag to anyone reading this. Do not put yourself through a lengthy legal ordeal with this vendor. Proceed with extreme caution.
