Stay as far as you can from this company. I paid close to 4K for a security system that doesn't work, I basically have a bunch of cameras and cables that do nothing. After Angel installed the system it repeatedly disconnects and rendered useless. When I tried to contact them, they were MIA for several months. When I finally got ahold, his response was , we "did the installation" it's not our fault if it doesn't work. The tech support was helpful one time but they said the installer needs to help with making the correct settings in the system. I have been unable to reach the company; I've been nothing but polite and profession the few times I could get a hold of them. But now we just had something stolen from the property and a useless security system that they installed. Save yourself the headache and money and go with a legitimate professional company, even if it's more expensive. read more

If you are looking for a security system for your business or residence, look no further. Angel is your guy! We were recommended OC Universal Telecom by our former property manager and had security cameras set up at one of our multi-unit properties out in Orange. All was fine and dandy until we noticed our security cameras were off when we checked remotely from our phones. So we called Angel to see what was going on and he explained what needed to be done. Long story short, after changing property managers, we were left with an outstanding bill, which caused our internet service to be disconnected and security cameras to stop working. So we got on the phone with Spectrum and turns out it could have been a quick fix had they communicated with us. Angel was on the phone with us and backed us up 100%. We appreciated his loyalty to his customers. Although a solution was not provided by Spectrum, Angel went out to our property and was able to troubleshoot and re-program the system to get our security cameras back up and running. He does charge a labor and a trip fee every time they come out, so it can add up. But he does great work and at the end of the day, it's absolutely worth the cost. I am impressed with Angel's work ethic. He is on-time, polite, detail-oriented, and very quick to respond. I would most definitely recommend OC Universal Telecom if you're looking for to install a security system with customer service you can rely on. read more

It was about quarter to 4pm on a Friday afternoon, checks just arrived, everything was seemingly well until the unthinkable happened. The camera system crashed!! I called the company who had serviced them, only to be told "we can maybe come toward the end of the following week". So in a panic stricken state I turned to yelp and came across OC Universal Telecom. Spoke to Angel who was very professional and set an appointment. Angel and his team came out and was able to fix the mickey mouse rigged system the previous guy installed. I felt Angel went above and beyond. He not only fixed the system, he explained and went in to detail explaining how to get the best out of our product. In addition, he accessed the system on all my computers and phones (both onsite and offsite), I had him install another camera and he left no mess. Angel was awesome! My company got into a bind when we were switching over to voip phones and realized we needed to rerun cat5 to all of the workstations. This is a super old building and I could only imagine it costing thousands and thousands of dollars. Angel showed up, explained what needed to be done and why, so I approved the work. Because we were already over budget on this project, Angel totally worked with us and cut us a more than fair deal. They showed up and got the job done and stayed until it was up and running.
