Each time, I was essentially told that nothing was wrong, even though the beeping clearly continued. At one point, I became so frustrated that I called simply to ask how to turn off the beeping. I have two young children in the house, and the noise was disruptive, especially when it would happen during the night. I was told there would be a charge just to show me how to turn off the beeping -- despite the fact that no one could explain why it was happening in the first place. The representative then told me someone would call me back within five minutes to walk me through how to shut it off. No one ever called. The lack of communication and customer service was incredibly frustrating. If your system is going to repeatedly beep for weeks, I expect the company to be able to identify the problem and provide a reasonable solution -- not tell me nothing is wrong and then charge me to stop the noise.

My existing security provider shut down their service so it was time to find a replacement. ADT…read morelooked like the best option but 9 years ago I tried them and it didn't turn out well, but time for a second chance. Ruben came out and he still provides an excellent sales experience. But the BIG difference was that this time Miguel, the service technician, actually knew what he was doing! He worked in a timely fashion, went over everything prior to the install, made sure everything was working properly (even double checked) and answered all my questions. Could not be happier with the experience this time. So five star review! One of my pet peeves with Yelp reviewers in general is that everybody is afraid to share pricing info. I'm sure readers are dying to know how much their requested service "should" cost. Often they say "reasonable", "better than another quote" etc. - which are all totally useless. Give us actual numbers! Reviewers seem to have love affairs with their service people and cost just isn't that important, at least in their reviews. For this service (think ADT pricing is pretty standard) - equipment cost for 5 motion detectors, 5 sensors and security panel $200 + tax including install. Wish they had cameras, but it was suggested that Ring is best for those. Monitoring charge is $45/month for a two year contract.
