Wonderful customer service. They were able to fix the problem without any issues and went above and beyond. If you have a cellphone problem, or a tablet issue, I recommend them first! read more

Finding a phone store to fix your phone is scary. Not all places are good and if you don't know anything about phones like me, you don't want to go just anywhere. One of my friends went to a phone store and they messed up her phone even more and she still had to pay! My Samsung galaxy edge was having problems. I went on yelp and through friend's recommendation and decided to stop by this store to check it out and get an estimate on my phone repair. Daniel helped me there. He checked out my phone, told me what was wrong, gave me an estimate. I decided to get it done here because the price was very reasonable compared to other stores and i felt like my phone was in good hands. Would come here again for sure. read more

I have been coming here for the past 5 years every time I encounter an out-of-warranty hardware problem with a device. That's been ANY device I've had across the board. Their prices to repair are genuinely fair and honest. They'll never try to highball you or scam you like many other repair shops that take things behind a curtain to fix them. The head technician is very sharp and clearly very experienced. I've also bought several refurbished devices here for great prices. I recommend this little shop under the L to anyone in need of an out-of-warranty repair or a new phone. read more

I had a cracked iPhone 4S screen - brought it in and iFix had it fixed and back in my hands in twenty minutes! Note that they only take cash. They are very friendly and in a convenient location right off the Belmont stop. I'm sure I'll be back! read more

So sad I broke my iPhone 6 glass and after contacting a few places ifix was the best deal. Great service very friendly and fast! I also got a tempered glass screen cover for just 10$ after they fixed my screen to prevent it from happening again. They also have very decently priced phone cases right in the store that I also picked up! Mentioned yelp and got 5$ off my bill. Go here they will have your back! read more

Helpful professional guys. Did a great job, explained to me my repair options and gave me a discount off of the better repair option. Got my screen replaced in about 30 minutes. The guys were as nice as can be. read more

In less than 15 minutes, Marcus fixed my horribly shattered screen while giving me a great deal on a protective case. Everyone was super friendly making for a surprising easy errand. Also my phone is like brand new. Thanks again Marcus! read more

Having your phone screen crack is not the best way to start a week but the amazing service a friendly staff here made it a little bit easier to swallow. I walked in and 20 minutes later walked out with a like new phone. The time flew by with friendly conversation and after learning that the owner and I were both marathon junkies they gave me an iring to try out on my next run! read more

I brought my iPhone 5s to iFix in pieces in a bag. They fixed it within a couple of hours, for a great price! They're very friendly - definitely recommend! read more

Would totally recommend this place to anyone who shatters their screen. The guy said it would take 10-15 and I think I was out of there in 10. I bought the deal off of yelp and the total was less than 80 with tax. Remember it's cash only. read more

I followed the advice of other reviewers and came here instead of going to the Apple Store and am so glad I did. Marcus and crew replaced my cracked screen in a matter of minutes and threw in a screen protector on the house. Friendly service, great price, convenient location and good karma. Double thumbs up! read more

To begin, I'm highly recommending this place, as far as the quality of the repair on my iPhone6. I would like to give 5*s for convenience and price at $120 cash only (compared to competitors in the city). Giving 4*s for price considering it was $70 in the burbs near work, but I was traveling for work the next day so it was an urgent fix. That said, if you need a quick fix and can't make it out of the city then go here. My screen was absolutely destroyed, dude said it was one of the worst shatters he's had to fix - so I don't like taking any credit away where credit is deserved. Just couldn't justify 5* with a $50 price difference. Bottom line - definitely go here if you need a screen replaced on the North Side. read more

I don't even know where to begin! Marcus was so patient when it came to repairing my water damaged phone. He did everything in his power to bring it back to life and it worked!! He saved me over $300. I would recommend them to anyone! read more

All service providers should be as professional, friendly and competent. Great pricing, quick turnaround . I walked in with an iPhone seemingly destroyed and 10 minutes later walked out with phone that was good as new for the price of a dinner. Highly, highly recommend read more

I have taken three devices so far and the service has been outstanding. They recently fixed my grandfather's Samsung 4, which had a completed damaged screen. Marcus was able to reuse the screen so the fixing cost wouldn't be exuberant. They had my device the same day, and it works like a new one. I am really happy with the service and the great attention to customers that they offer. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. read more

While traveling, our phone was accidentally dropped into a little puddle of water and stayed submerges there for a few minutes. We tried to dry it off but the phone clearly was not functioning anymore. After a few days we got back to Chicago and brought the phone to iFix on Belmont. The owners could not have been more nice and professional! They immediately opened up the phone and started inspecting it right in front of us. Within an hour or so, they fixed the phone by replacing the water-damaged screen and battery! It was such a smooth and transparent experience. Would definitely come back again if we run into any phone/computer issues! read more

Hate to do this because they're extremely nice and I've been here several times. But I came back with the same 6 Plus that had a small crack on the (replaced) screen and the touch response was acting up. This time there was a different gentleman working the counter (last time I think it was the owner). This staffer looked at the phone and said that the iPhone 6 Plus has a known issue with a chip becoming loose on the motherboard, which can't be repaired, which causes erratic touch response. From research, I know this to be true. However, my screen was also cracked-- and when the crack occurred is when the touch response began to suffer. In any case, no offer to take the phone apart or try to replace the glass to see if that helped-- I was out of luck. I took the phone to the nearby UBREAKIFIX, and they did. See my review there. I only removed one star for iFix, because when they actually did the work last time it was a success (and also cheaper than UBREAK); but this time they didn't want to try. read more

Best customer service ever! Marcus was on top of his game. Not only he fixed my screen ASAP, but he went out of his way to treat me like the way you supposed to do. I recommend this place and is very affordable and fast. Thank you Marcus. read more

Very friendly staff. I had a pretty busted up iPhone and the quote from Apple was around 300-400 dollars. IFix fixed it under 170. The guys at the store were pretty informative and kept giving me a description of what they were doing. I would totally recommend this over Apple Store any day read more

Fixed a cracked iPhone 3GS screen in 10 mins. Decent price.

Needed my iPhone battery replaced. Found them on Yelp. They were quick, reasonable, and professional. I now have a go to source for anything that isn't covered by AT&T and/or Apple. Wish I found them sooner! They are also helping me with unlocked gsm phones for a trip to Europe next month. read more

I've had a few repairs done at iFix on Belmont and been satisfied every time. They're nice guys, very competent and honest- I'll specifically mention Tom who I think is the manager and a real pro. He's bent over backwards to deal with multiple problems with The World's Worst Cell Phone- the HTC Android Incredible (from The World's Worst Phone Company, Verizon) as well as my son's phone which was a different model from a different provider. They work on iPhones, too. Tom won't be satisfied until he's done everything he can, and he won't overcharge. I recommend iFix without reservation. read more

Great service! I shattered my iPhone screen & they fixed easily. I was in & out in 5 min with my phone looking like new. Cash only but about $45 cheaper than the Apple Store's estimate. Definitely recommend read more

Daniel did a great job with my iPone 5s. It looks and works like new. I would defiantly recommend them to anyone looking for repair and replacement of cellphone and iPad components. 5 stars. read more

I love this place! Sadly I've been back 3+ times due to shattered iPhone screens... But each time I return they are nicer than the last! They are classy and respectful and they don't price gauge (I've checked around). The service is great and quick and I wouldn't go anywhere else in Chicago. Highly recommend! read more

Marcus was awesome! I shattered my iPhone 6 screen, and came to get it fixed. He performed "iPhone surgery" in front of me, which was cool to see. He even entertained my dad's multitude of questions about the replacement process. Definitely would come back if I shattered my screen again (but hopefully that won't happen!). Great value for great service :)! Remember: When you come, ask for Marcus! read more

Marcus is the best!!! He fixed my iPhone right in front of me in less then fifteen minutes! The customer service was great and I got a cute Cubs case. I would definitely recommend this place!!!! read more

This place is great.. I went in with my roommate to get her phone fixed and Marcus explained everything step by step to what he was doing. Honestly it was cool that he was explaining all the details, we definitely learned a lot. Marcus is so humble as we tried giving him a tip and he kept refusing which made us want to give him more. Very reputable business! Marcus did exactly as he said. He meticulously took apart my iPhone and looked at everything under a high powered microscope. Unfortunately, my phone has major issues and best to get a new one. Marcus put my phone back together and didn't charge a dime. Charger port on my iPhone wasn't working, so I stopped in to get a quote on how much replacing the port would cost. The man behind the counter (not the owner but an employee I believe) took a look at it and told me straight-up the problem was lint clogging the port and not the port itself. He went ahead and cleaned out the port and it worked perfectly - and it was only 10 dollars, to boot! I mean, if he really wanted to, he could have easily said the port needed to be replaced and up-sell me. But instead, he was honest and I left with the satisfaction of having an inexpensive, effective repair. These are good people! read more

I found out about IFix Cell Phone from Yelp, but was pleased to find a second, more convenient location when I checked out their website. All previous reviewers remarks apply to this location too. I came in with a cracked 3GS screen and 15 minutes later I was out the door with my phone looking as good as new. They offered both a complimentary screen cover and case and their price was actually lower than what was advertised on their website. If I ever have an Iphone issue again, I would not hesitate to go back, or to recommend this place to a friend. read more

DON"T TAKE YOUR PHONE THERE!!! I took in my phone to get my screen fixed waited 45 mins got my phone back and everything looked fine. I didn't make any calls untill I got home and I started to notice that when I put the phone up to my face to use I would push all the buttons with my face so my phone would call other people while I was on it or hang up. I came back to the store and they said they could fix it because it was just a sensor issue. They did not charge me however now I'm having issues with my phone not wanting to switch screens when I push the home button. I never had issues with my phone before I brought there. After I droped my phone and the screen was broken never had issues at all. I left the screen broken for about 3 months before I fixed it and I regret fixing it. I didn't take it back because I fear that things could get even worse. read more

Great experience! Marcus took great care of me. Very quick, done in 30 minutes. My phone works better than it did before, and all they did was fix the cracked front. They also threw in a complimentary case. I would highly recommend it to anyone. read more

It was a wonderful end to a nightmare! My phone was stolen and luckily I found it with the find my phone app, but when I received my phone I saw it had been shattered to pieces as if a car had run over it. I went around town and many places were charging as high as $200 dollars repair or more because they said they would not know the exact estimate until they repaired the phone. Which sounded sketchy. At iFix they were so friendly. They opened the phone right in front of me and explained everything that he saw wrong with the phone. He said the diagnostic is free and I would get an exact price before repair. He also said he would not charge for anything that could not be fixed. To my amazement he fixed my phone right their under 25 min and explained exactly what he was doing. This is a very trustworthy place to go I did not feel cheated at all. I also got a great deal I could not find anywhere cheaper in town! read more
