Called on a Sunday, made time for me on Monday. Cleaned up an old desktop that is dying and a fairly new laptop. Both had viruses and were extremely slow. A couple of quick fixes helped one but then Ti, the technician, took the computer apart and showed me how it was slowly disintegrating. We talked about the cost to repair versus a new or refurbished computer. He had a much more powerful refurbished model in stock for less than the cost of a new one. He is delivering the new computer, setting it up with Office and cleaning up a problem with a printer. Much better than being oversold at a big box store. Honest, sincere, pleasant to deal with, patient with my ton of questions, on time and trustworthy. I highly recommend Geeks 24/7 without reservation. I will be using him again when I upgrade to a smart TV. If you are over 40 and have joked that you need someone young to help you with your technical needs, Ti is your guy!

We ran several diagnostic tests and they all pointed to a FAILING HARD DRIVE. We found Computerzone USA on YELP and called and was told by the owner Sultan Shariff to come in anytime for a hard drive replacement - for which he quoted a price. Upon pick up we noticed several files missing and most other files, pictures, and on-screen icons all jumbled - nor could we open our voluminous MS Outlook. Yikes - so much stress! Best I could tell, he tried to install some upgraded software that caused that problem. He quickly volunteered to fix it upon returning the computer next day and to mirror the EXACT INSTALLATION we had previously. His second try worked flawlessly, everything worked EXACTLY AS BEFORE, no more jumbled or missing files ... all resulting in this MOST HAPPY CUSTOMER. Mr. Shariff comes across as most experienced and professional and is very customer-oriented - altogether a pleasure to deal with. CB

The owner, Alex, is a nice dude, but a poor communicator. My laptop was having crashes, and I…read moredropped it off in early June for troubleshooting/diagnosis. I called after several weeks and he promised he'd have the problem diagnosed within the next couple days and call me back. Several additional weeks went by and I called again with the same response, and then once more a few weeks later- a total of 2 months of wait time without any progress or evidence that anything was done at all. I eventually gave up and got my laptop back myself to look at. Googling my error messages indicated that my RAM was faulty, and after replacing the RAM (a 15-minute procedure), my laptop works fine. It took me ~30 minutes of total active time to troubleshoot and solve this problem that I had previously waited 2 months for the owner to fix. I'd guess that Alex was overcommitted with fixing other machines to focus on mine, which is fine if he told me a realistic estimate (i.e. "I'm really busy right now, but check back in a month and I'll give you an update). Instead I got drip-fed inaccurate timeline estimates. Overall, I find it difficult to reccomend going to this business to get your problem fixed unless you have a really easy software issue to diagnose/fix on the spot.

I had an amazing experience with this shop. At the start of April, one of my computer's that The…read moreQueen was using for remote learning looked like it had a crack on the screen. It was a Dell laptop that was 2 years old. The computer still worked when hooked up to a separate monitor, but the screen was just disastrous in terms of seeing anything on the monitor itself. Fortunately through the power of networking, The Queen met a gentlemen through one of her art websites who works for this place and boy was that a lucky break. The communication was amazing, and he really talked us through the process. He told us how long the repairs would take (around 1-2 weeks) and even gave The Queen a loaner computer to use to cover the time it would take to repair the computer. We gave him the computer on April 1 and got it back on April 7. He immediately sent the repair results beforehand on April 6 and gave us a quote for the work. Honestly, the computer looked brand new, and the price was super reasonable compared to the other places I looked at based on what I thought the problem was at the time. They even added a 3-month warranty in case anything else happened or if the screen didn't work. I also like the fact that they have the option of allowing you to mail in your items for repair if you can't get them physically to their location. Speaking of location, I am not sure where they are located. Normally you have to call for an appointment, and I imagine at that time that information is given to you. However, because The Queen knew this person, I gave her the laptop and she made arrangements to meet him on his way home from work to hand the computer over to him. Same was done for pick-up after the repairs. For you Mac users, they also service those as well. They do repairs on Apple products and all computer including but not limited to PC/Desktops, laptops, and Phones (including iPhones). All in all, I would highly recommend this shop!! The service turnaround was well before what was communicated and the team was super nice and knowledgeable. Their mission statement is one of centralization around repairing local consumer electronics for much cheaper prices compared to manufacturer prices. I like that they state that focus on diagnosing the specific issue rather than replacing entire parts that may be more expensive. They perform a pre-diagnosis of the problem, which is what they did for my computer and simply repaired what needed to be repaired, saving me $$$. I am hoping to not need to use their services again, but man if something happens to one of the many laptops I have at home, who am I gonna call? Skip Repairs, LLC! Not to mention, I would need to set up a day to come into apple and wait hours for my phone to be fixed. I contacted Skip Repairs, and they were immediately on it. I can confidently say the work done on my phone is as if it came directly out of apple. This company truly cares about their customers and keeps it very professional. They have the best prices even after checking on other companies that are not tied to apple. BEWARE!!!!!! For…read moreanything but the most basic of compter repairs, I would steer clear of Northside Tech Support. I took my laptop to Northside because my laptop screen was flickering from time to time. Usually, I repair my computers myself but have been very busy with work and thought I would take it to "the professoinals" at Northside Tech Support so they could quickly make the necessary repairs and I could get back to work. Besides the flickering screen, my laptop had no other issues, was physically and mechanically in great shape and functioned near perfectly. Three weeks and a few days after I had dropped off my computer at Northside and many phone call later, I was told that a component of my computer "crumbled" as they took it apart and that I would be needing additional parts. This was cause for great concern but based on the reviews here on Yelp.com I had seen, I figured they guys must know what they are doing. Despite my growing concern, I decided I would continue to give them the chance to fix my computer. A week or so later, I received another phone call from them where they told me that they had to order some additional parts because their eBay parts supplier and they could not figure out which parts were the correct ones to fit my computer. eBay parts seller?? When asked, Northside told me they get all of their parts for their repairs from eBay, yikes!! Another week or ten days later, I called to inquire about the status of my repair. They told me they still had not figured it out. I asked that they put my machine back together and informed them that I would be picking it up and taking it to another repair facility. Kevin was very upset by this and told me that he "needed more time." I informed him that if he could not repair my computer in the just over four weeks he had it, he needed to give it back to me so I could have someone who knows what they are doing make the repairs. He exclaimed "you have not given me enough time!!" I could go on but after having tried to fix my computer for over a month, when I went to pick it up, my computer looked as if it had been dropped from a second story window. The outer case was cracked off and a "new" case with dents in it was my "new" cover (used part obtained form eBay), a key was broken off my keyboard and the keyboard itselft was no longer set into the computer, the computer would no longer turn on at all, and parts were and screws were missing. I had to look it over for a few minutes to try to ensure that it was even mine. I dropped of a good working computer with a flickering screen problem. Over four weeks later, I picked up a broken computer with missing parts that would no longer turn on or operate at all. I ended up having to purchase a new computer thanks to the fine handiwork of the "computer repair technicians" at Northside. They offered to pay me a nominal sum for the damage to my computer but what they gave me barely made a dent into what I had to spend for a new laptop. Like I said, if you need any type of computer repair besides the most basic of basic repair, steer far wide and exceedingly clear of this place as in my opinion and experience, they clearly do not know what they are doing.
