I was greeted warmly and referred to a nearby coffee shop for the 30 minutes it took for the repair to be made. Jake made sure I was comfortable with the state of the phone before I departed. I would not go back here. I used to come here for phone cases/screen protectors and repairs when…read moreit was Jet City. Since it changed over to Modify my Device, I have not had good experiences. They no longer honor the free tempered glass screen protector for life of the device and I had my LCD and screen replaced by them less than two months ago. It started acting up a couple days after the replacement and I called to ask what my options were. She said she would call me back and never did. Then the phone started to have like a shaky display (almost looked like the screen was vibrating), then this morning it started to have lines all over and then got worse and worse until now I cannot even use it. She says they do not give any kind of warranty and offer to refunds. So... I paid $240 for a screen/LCD that did not even last two months... save your money. Just go to Apple.

I always come here whenever I have an issue with my phone -- the service is awesome, and they've…read morealways been able to repair the problem. The prices are also super reasonable, so if you need something fixed, just go! It will probably cost less than you think, and save you a lot of stress from your phone/tech not working. I first went 4+ years ago because I broke my headphone jack off in my phone. It was an easy fix for them and I felt silly for waiting so long to come in. My boyfriend has taken his different phones in for various issues, usually screen-related: cracked, non-responsive, distorted, etc. They've always been able to repair/replace it quickly. Overall, I trust the quality of their work, the prices are reasonable, and they're very kind. I highly recommend them!

I was initially very pleased with the quick turnaround and friendly service when I had my iPhone…read morescreen replaced. They were pleasant and professional and we exchanged a bit of humor over the phone and in person. Unfortunately, just two weeks later, a noticeable black blob appeared on the new screen near the Dynamic Island. This looks like OLED screen bleed or a defect. The phone has remained in a case with a screen protector the entire time and has not been dropped, bumped, or otherwise mishandled. Given the timing (only 2 weeks after installation) and the specific location of the spot, this issue is almost certainly the result of either a defective replacement screen or a problem during installation (such as trapped dust, adhesive, or pressure damage). It is not consistent with normal use or accidental damage. I offered to bring the phone in so they could inspect it in person, but they declined and immediately dismissed the warranty claim without examination. While I understand repairs aren't perfect, I'm disappointed they are unwilling to stand behind their work and honor the warranty on what is clearly a post-repair defect. I went from a satisfied customer who would have returned and recommended them to someone who can no longer do so. Potential customers should be aware that warranty support may not be reliable here. EDIT: Contrary to the response below the phone was never physically inspected. Rather, the response was based on a set of photos sent showing the issue which, alone, would be virtually impossible to come to a conclusion of physical damage versus defective product. As a customer, you are in a no win situation here as no matter what happens they are going to blame you and not the manufacturer or installation for the problem.

There comes a time when you're going to suffer mishap with your cellphone no matter how careful you…read moreare in protecting it. My most recent one was very mind-boggling to say the least, and this came after downloading the newest iOS version to my iPhone and I couldn't get my device to boot-up. Likewise, I couldn't use the restore function either, which meant my phone was dead in the water, and I needed help fast! I knew I needed professional help, so after reading the reviews for "Ann Arbor iPhone & Macbook" on Yelp, I knew this was my first go to choice. I decided to drive down to Washington Street, rather than call on the telephone. I talked with Jack on the phone, and he came right over to look at my phone. After examining the patient, he decided to download the iOS update again, and reboot my phone. After that I was able to access my iCloud, and restore the phone back to normal. Jack does amazing work, and if I could give this review 10-stars I would. IMHO, Jack is really the "IPhone/Macbook Whisperer" and does a truly professional job all the way.
