These folks know how to run a business! My inquiry via Yelp was answered in minutes; an hour later I was at their shop to have the screen on a XS Max iPhone replaced. I was greeted warmly and referred to a nearby coffee shop for the 30 minutes it took for the repair to be made. Jake made sure I was comfortable with the state of the phone before I departed. I couldn't be more pleased! Ps. I drove in from the north side and was grateful for ample metered street parking outside the shop. read more

I would not go back here. I used to come here for phone cases/screen protectors and repairs when it was Jet City. Since it changed over to Modify my Device, I have not had good experiences. They no longer honor the free tempered glass screen protector for life of the device and I had my LCD and screen replaced by them less than two months ago. It started acting up a couple days after the replacement and I called to ask what my options were. She said she would call me back and never did. Then the phone started to have like a shaky display (almost looked like the screen was vibrating), then this morning it started to have lines all over and then got worse and worse until now I cannot even use it. She says they do not give any kind of warranty and offer to refunds. So... I paid $240 for a screen/LCD that did not even last two months... save your money. Just go to Apple. read more

This is a very cute place, friendly and welcoming! The owner fixed my phone on the spot , he figured out what was wrong immediately! Opening it up only confirmed his initial verdict. I had a very uncommon issue and was quite impressed. The phone is up and running and I wanted to mention them on Yelp! read more

Expensive quote for a basic glass replacement, but probably because they include "LCD repair," which is not damaged. They state their price is hugger because it includes a lot of extras, of which I don't want or need. $30 is what I paid in DC for excellent, efficient service on glass replacement... not sure why Chicago prices are so exorbitant. read more

Walked in with a cracked iPhone X screen & less than 30 minutes later, it was fixed. First, the price was the best of any store I checked from NYC, where I live, to Chicago, where I was visiting. AND a lifetime warranty! I've seen complaints of odd color hues when getting a 3rd party screen replacement, but no issue there either. The techs were SO nice and the office is pretty cool. They have video games and wiFi so you can just chill and wait. Definitely recommend them for any needs. read more

Friendly, responsive, reasonably priced. Got 2 phones repaired in 1 day. Very responsive and efficient. I will certainly go back. Jet City is in contrast toUBreakiFix, which was so indifferent, I walked out. I took a little stack of their cards for my office and keep them on my desk and will happily send people their way. read more

Absolutely loved their service. I had doubts to take my iPhone to a store other than Apple to fix my iPhone. But this store absolutely changed me. Got an appointment in next half hour, fixed it in 20 min and walked out with a phone that looked like new fixing solid vertical light on my iPhone screen. Better price than Apple store also. They made sure I got the best service. Will go here for my next repairs definitely. This place is in the loop and the location can't be beaten, right in downtown for an amazing service. There is paid street parking here. read more

My dog literally ate my iPhone. Neil and Chris, the two geniuses at Jet City, miraculously brought this phone back to life. They were awesome and put a new screen and outer bezel on the phone for a great price. I couldn't believe how great it looked after they fixed it. Initially, I brought it to Apple in the city and they said they couldn't fix it. Spoke with two other places and they said they couldn't fix it either. A few days later I called Neil and told him the situation. He said to bring it in and they would take a look at it. Honestly, I'm still surprised they brought this phone back to life. If you're looking for a great spot to get your phone fixed at a reasonable price, give them a call. read more

Wells St, Chicago Fourth time I used them ... 7 battery, iPad battery, 7 plus battery, wife's broken LCD .... Alex and TJ are friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and honest. The work is perfect, the prices, too. I left my wife's phone thinking it would need a battery too but when I came back they said it check out OK and only charge was the LCD and glass. read more

Repaired by iPhone XS in 30 minutes and was able to come in on flexible timing. Did a good job Only thing I would flag is that the price quoted initially did not include tax (which some other business included when quoting a rate for same project) so was a bit more than I expected read more

We took in a phone that had some pretty severe water damage and after soaking it in water overnight, it wasn't fully turning on but would flash the apple logo every so often. Chris was able to take a look and asked if we wanted to try a new screen. This did fix the problem temporarily but the phone stopped working again after a few days. We took the phone back in a Chris gave us a full refund and also replaced the screen with an older one again. The service was amazing and these guys definitely know what they are doing! We'll be visiting again whenever we have issues with future phones! read more

Jet City is phenomenal. My phone took a very hard fall, cracking the screen, the OLED, and scrapping up the frame. I immediately went to the Apple store, who refused to attempt to repair it, rather tried to sell me a new phone. I worked with Noel from Jet City, who was absolutely fantastic. Not being tech-savvy, he answered all my questions and said he could repair the phone, while I waited. We chatted while he repaired my phone and within 30 minutes the phone was completely working. I highly recommend Jet City and Noel for any of your device repair needs. I will definitely be back should I need repair services versus going to Apple, as Apple service may not spend the time or effort to repair a device and rather try to sell you a replacement device or accessory. read more

This place did not disappoint. I took my phone to get a screen replaced. It was acting funny after a couple weeks and they honored their warranty and replaced it free of charge. Almost, felt bad I didn't pay. I said almost. Highly recommended. I'm going to be taking my future repairs for anything there. read more

Guys were friendly and very quick turn-around. Had a cracked screen and they were done within an hour. My phone was a Samsung Galaxy S9+. They had the parts, fixed it and now it works great. Overall, excellent experience. read more

[Oct 2020]Did a google and yelp search for nearby cracked iPhone screen repairers. Made an inquiry via yelp because during Covid times store hours and protocols have changed. Got prompt response and quote and asked when I wanted to schedule a repair. Decided to call store instead. Helpful and accommodating. Ended up doing a walk-in but had to wait out of store as one customer at a time. Short wait. Dropped iPhone X off and collected it 30 minutes later after running an errand. Prompt and professional service and follow-up. Would definitely recommend. Thank you TJ. [Feb 2021] Returned to have IPhone X screen replaced as phone had unresponsive areas and was inked on a corner. Amazing service again. Replaced screen under warranty as it was not damaged and I had battery replaced as I love my X. Fantastic service once again. Thank you. read more

I've used Jet City four times -- twice to get my IPhone screen repaired, once for my daughter's IPhone screen, and once for my IPad. Impeccable service every time -- fast, friendly, and the repaired device worked perfectly. I also went another time because I was convinced that my phone's power port was broken and needed replacing, but they pointed out that I only needed a new power cord! I would recommend this place highly. read more

Jet City Device Repair definitely provided me the most satisfactory iPhone repair service ever. My old iPhone 6 not only had a crashed screen, but also a badly bent body; the battery would run out in an hour with regular use and there was decoloration. I asked for a quote from Jet City and they replied within the day, and we scheduled an appointment. This was still in lockdown due to COVID (June 2), so I was very happy to see they were open and taking appointments was a considerate move. The shop is super cute, with lots of film and pop culture reference. The ambiance is great, feels hip and cozy, it is obvious everyone working there has made an effort to create the best work environment without losing the fun. They also made sure to increase social distance during this time. Noel was very helpful assessing what went wrong with my phone, he outlined what he was going to do to fix it and one hour later, voila, the veteran iPhone 6 was reborn. When I mentioned about the battery, Noel asked first thing what kind of charging device I use-a non-Apple product-he knows his stuff! I hope nothing breaks down in the near future but if anything did, I'll return to Jet City Device in a heartbeat. read more

e 2 meses Críticas: Calidad I took my iPhone in for them to repair my cracked screen. My phone was working fine, even with the cracked screen. Once it was repaired, my phone has been shutting down sporadically and freezes at weird moments. The tech was not helpful, he had a bad attitude.

Saw this place randomly in downtown Chicago. The Guy Fieri posted caught my eye and got my business. I purposely broke my phone on the sidewalk just so I could go in. read more

I had no idea an experience like this could exist in the tech repair industry. This is not your dirty commissary and money exchange shop. The store front is neat and full of nerdy references with complimentary coffee from Big Shoulders. Incredibly, the staff are responsive and friendly and I comfortably worked from the shop while my phone was repaired in under 30 minutes. I'll be back when I inevitably break something else! read more

This was probably my fourth or fifth time at Jet City, I'd visited them a handful of times at their previous location. I'm really good at breaking my phone screen. Stopped in today to get a battery replacement on my iPhone 7, ended up having them replace the cracked screen as well because they offered a discount for doing both at the same time. Didn't have an appointment, was in and out within about half an hour and didn't have to deal with the insanity that is the Apple store. Highly recommend getting your stuff fixed here. They're friendly, fast, and you don't have to stand in a glass box with nine thousand other people. read more

Got phone problems? GO here FIRST!! I saw people STREAMING in and out, all happy customers. My mom cracked the screen on her phone galaxy s6. I brought it in, they quoted me $159 to repair, I had an old S4 Active, so they swapped in an old one for $50! With a more durable phone and better case i dont think she'll not break it. Super helpful, explained everything really well and made sure I got the old photos off my phone. I love they are local, honest, really smart and tech savvy for the everyday person. While i was in there they swapped out the battery for my phone, STILL under their warranty. Loved the vibe when i walked in, they have kitty decals on the walls fun stuff everywhere, cool jazz playing and 20 super NES to play while you wait!! I want to hang out with them!!! I highly highly reommend stopping in. read more

Wow. All I can say is wow. I smashed BOTH sides of my iPhone XS when I fell off a ladder and palmed the device into the ground pulverizing the front and putting pretty good spider web on the back. The team here was able to repair the front LCD in under 30 minutes; slap a case on the back and a screen protector so I could get right back to work. A few days later I came in to get the back fixed and I couldn't be happier with the results read more

Really great experience at this shop! My iPhone keyboard started to glitch right before a 3 week trip. They took me immediately and fixed my phone in no time. A few months ago during the beginning of the COVID epidemic our grandsons iPads screen cracked. Jet City was open and taking appointments so we scheduled and took it in, they did an amazing job for a reasonable price. We were very satisfied with their work. Last week the I took my iPhone in because when I made calls the volume was really low even though I had it on high volume so we made an appointment and took it in. The tech looked at the phone and figured out that there was no need to replace the speaker, he replaced the screen protector because it was covering the speaker. I was so appreciative for his honesty, there are many bussinesses that will go ahead and repair just to make a buck but not Jet City. We took some business cards to share with family and friends because of this. I highly recommend this business. You will be our families go to business for all repairs. Thank you Jet City! read more
