I'm very happy. Decided to stop in a see if I could get the charger port on my Galaxy S7 fixed, as it was no longer fast charging and was often would often stop charging if the cable was bumped. The owner warned me that it may not be repairable and I may need to use a wireless charger instead, but then turned around and quickly fixed it by doing an extremely careful and thorough cleaning of the port. It's back to working better than ever. A couple of friends from Germany who stayed with me for a few months also went here to get SIM cards for use while they were in the USA. They all said they got a good deal and good service. Seems like a well-run business to me. read more

This is a truly shady business owner and I warn all to stay away. I purchased my internet service and modem through these guys in the fall and had a good experience, so I wanted to give them my business again when I switched to a pre-paid phone to save money. The owner is young and very flirty. He is the perfect slick salesman, so much that when my instincts told me that some things weren't right, I ignored them. First off, the phone I bought did not have a price tag on it, because he just got the shipment in that day. When he threw out a price I accepted it because I thought he was giving me a good deal. Then when I paid, he didn't give me a store receipt, just the credit card slip and a printout of the successful porting of the number to the new company. Well it turns out that this phone was going for about a hundred dollars less on the internet. Also, my service took a week to switch over to the new company because he didn't enter my info in the computer correctly. I spent a lot of timing going back and forth from the old company to the new one, with much frustration. I tried to return the phone because I hadn't even been able to use it, but he told me they don't take returns unless the phone is defective. I asked why he didn't post a sign in his store regarding the return policy. He told me it was on the store receipt. I told him he never gave me a store reciept. Then he apologized and told me he didn't charge me taxes, just a $20 activation fee. I asked him why he never bothered to inform me that he was charging me an activation fee and he played dumb. I called LG to ask what the warranty is on the phone because it just doesn't work very well. The customer service rep informed me that my phone is not meant for sale in the US, just Australia and NZ. I am so furious that I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges. read more

Hi, I decided to write this review because I had an amazing experience with this store, not once but a few times. On Feb, 24 I attempted to unlock my iPhone 6 through this website cellunlocker.com and it was an awful experience and waste of time. They did't process my unlocking first 2 weeks after I started the process, (the whole process is promised to take 5-10 business days), after 5 weeks they sent me an e-mail that my phone is unlocked and to follow the process to finalize unlocking. However, after many attempts my phone was not unlocked. I e-mailed them and they advised me that there is a technical difficulty and they need additional time to figure out what's wrong with my device. That's when I decided to stop the process and went to Bestcom Wireless. This was the best decision I made. My phone was unlocked in 6 days. Based on my experience I would definitely recommend them to perform your factory unlocking in order to use it internationally or for other GSM networks. Also, I had the opportunity to deal with both brothers at this store and they are both very approachable, friendly and open minded. For any future potential customers, it is important to set up your standards and expectations with them. My experience with this store was very positive and I will definitely return to them for future phone services. I'm leaving for medical school soon and wanted to get a nice smartphone before I left. My wife convinced me to give Bestcom a chance and see what they have to offer. What do I have to lose, right? Got a GREAT deal on a new BlackBerry Z10. I love this phone especially the BBM service. I couldn't be any happier. This phone allows me to do things my old MyTouch didn't let me do. The store rep. made sure that my phone worked properly and made sure I was set to go. He even took the time to explain how to navigate through the phone. The guy also explained to me my options in terms of the service providers. I ended up staying with my current service provider. In fact, after getting advice from the store rep., my wife ended up calling the service provider and got more features added to our current plan. For free! The Bestcom rep seemed to be very knowledgeable about the different services the different companies have to offer. I'm going back to get another smartphone for my wife (hopefully another BlackBerry). My experience was great at Bestcom and would rather go there than to a place where all they care about is selling you products just to make money without even caring about your needs and preferences. It's nice to be taken seriously. For those who are complaining about not knowing their refund policy, IT'S POSTED IN THEIR STORE! And, if you find something cheaper on eBay, Craigslist, or the street corner, then just buy it from there! What's the point of going to a store and telling them you found a product cheaper elsewhere?! Maybe I should go to the Cadillac dealership and tell them I found an Escalade for $15k cheaper on eBay. read more

Every time I need something the staff is ready to help. They never strong arm you into anything and try to give you what you need at the cheapest price. I couldn't get my phone to charge and thought it needed either a battery or charging port. Casey cleaned fuzz out of the pot and it worked fine. And he refused to charge me. Have also had two battery replacements on two different phones much cheaper than Apple will do it. Highly recommend! read more

Beware when purchasing phones at this store. Will sell used/refurbished phones and claim its brand new. Recently bought what I thought was a new iPhone 8 for the same price as market value and went in for a screen repair at apple store less than month later only to find out they will not fix device because of third party components and materials inside. My LCD screen needed to be repaired on my Macbook, so I decided to check out Bestcom on the way to the train. After I entered the establishment, some dude in full Middle Eastern garb introduced himself as Amir, stating that he was the owner. I explained what I needed in terms of a repair, and Amir gave me a rough quote of $120 in order to purchase and install a brand new LCD screen. I explained that I wasn't concerned with whether or not the screen was new or used, so he said to give him a call after confirming my model number. About a week later, I called the shop and was told to call back in 10 minutes since Amir had stepped out. 20 minutes later, I called back only to be asked 101 questions from the girl who answered the phone, all while hearing Amir in the background telling her what to say while listening in. I explained that Amir knew what I was calling about and that I would be more than happy to discuss the issue with him as I didn't want to repeat the same information twice. After getting on the phone, Amir acted like he could have cared less about earning my business. I gave him the model number to my Macbook, and was then quoted some ridiculous price of $220 for a new screen plus labor. I explained that there must have been a mistake, and I asked him to double check the numbers. I was then told that "according to Ebay, these parts are more expensive since they are rare" (not true), and "that only a seller in the United Kingdom had them for sale" (also not true). When I explained that I wanted a screen from a reputable company, Amir tried arguing with me (bad idea) about how he only purchased parts from Ebay. He said if I wanted a part from another source, that I would need to track the company down, then give him the URL. (So you want me to pay you to do a job, then do some of the work for you?) I explained that I was looking to conduct business with a reputable company that offered decent customer service and that I wasn't receiving any of the latter over the phone. Amir told me that I shouldn't do business with his establishment then, and I told him to forget about the repair and hung up. Avoid, avoid, avoid. P.s. I also saw a video where this dude was robbed by two women with pepper spray. I guess that's what happens when you try treating other people like they're scum for no reason. read more

Got a great deal on a phone that was twice as expensive at T-mobile. Great customer service! Even threw in a free car charger and an awesome case! For the other reviewers how can you compare Ebay to a retail outlet, are you forgetting that businesses pay wages, taxes, rent, utilities, etc. How do you expect them to survive? Go to a T-Mobile retail outlet or a Best Buy and see how much they want for chargers and cases. Yet you pick on the small local businesses trying to make a living. I've been very pleased with my overall experience each time I've been to Bestcom. Each visit was to fix a cracked screen. This happened four times (all at my fault) and Amir (sp) has always been extremely accommodating when fixing my phone. I've felt comfortable enough to leave the phone with the store for a few hours while they fixed it. Additionally, I felt the cost to fix my screen was sufficient and still cheaper than going to the Apple Store. I would recommend going to Bestcom to fix any screen on any media device. read more

This is my go to spot, got my last 3 phones from these guys, they always give me a great price (they beat online prices too, trust me I checked, I'm a cheapskate lol) and are very helpful getting me the right plan for the money. They work with every cell phone service, most other places only offer like 2 or 3 different providers so they can't tell you what other options are out there. I like this place bc I just tell them what I need and they show me all the plans from every company, no need to go to a bunch of different stores and waste time, everything is right there.
