I recently cracked my Macbook Pro screen internally and found Ali on Yelp in order to get it fixed. He was easy to get a hold of and was very nice. He offered significantly the best price compared to what other computer repair stores I reached out to offered. He also finished the repair sooner than anticipated. Definitely recommend if you're within the area. read more

I think this is my first ever Yelp review, I've never really been compelled to write one before now. Ali was so responsive, helpful, and kind in diagnosing my computer's problem. I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to him again. He turned a huge headache into a 5 minute solution. read more

Had some work done there on my 2012 iMac and the guy totally did exactly what I asked him to do. Price was right and will definitely use them again. Like right now :) read more

Ali helped me earlier today with a WiFi connection issue I was having with my gaming laptop. Having your WiFi connection drop repeatedly and unexpectedly is very frustrating and he took the time to try to troubleshoot it over the phone. After those attempts did not fix my issues, he recommended ordering a new WiFi card and gave me a quote for the part and the part + him installing it. Both were very affordable for someone on a teacher's salary. He got it in the next day and texted me to let me know it was there and he was available to help. I don't think I spent more than 30 minutes there and it seems like the issue has been resolved! He even took the time to clean out the inside of my computer which I found very thoughtful. I will absolutely come back if I have any other issues come up! Thanks again!! read more

Ali was awesome! About a month ago my laptop stopped turning on. I tried replacing the battery but that was not the problem. Today I called Ali to get some help and he was available right away. He got my laptop to turn back on by removing a failed ram. Even though it was working, it went very slow so he had also recommended updating the hard drive and the Windows system. I was able to get another hard drive and bring my laptop back to him same day. He got it installed and updated Windows for me. Way cheaper than buying a new laptop! He is very reasonably priced and kept me updated on when my laptop would be ready. 100% recommend! read more

The battery on my work laptop wasn't charging. They sent me a replacement battery. I tried replacing it and obviously didn't do a good job at it. I texted Ali and he responded promptly. He helped me resolve the issue on a Sunday! He provided exceptional customer service. I highly recommend Ali for all your computer repair needs. read more

I had the WORST experience building my first PC. It took several weeks due to various complications. I was about ready to throw in the towel and give up because I had already spent so much of my savings on it. I had done some research on taking it to a computer repair shop within the area and found Ali. He responded almost right away and was very professional. I took it in and within 20 minutes he figured out what the problem was (defective power supply). He didn't even charge me at all for his time, even though I offered to pay him. All the other computer shops around town told me they would charge at minimum $100 for the exact same thing he did. I would highly recommend checking this guy out because he knows what he is doing and is very trustworthy. read more

My Dell 2-in-1 had a cracked screen due to one of the hinges getting out of alignment. Apparently this is a common problem. Messaged Ali on a Saturday evening and he responded right away. He was able to get a new part ordered and replaced in less than a week. All at a reasonable price. Great service! read more

If you need your computer repaired, look no further. I got to his place and Ali had all the tools and materials to quickly take care of the issue, which involved the tip of the charger getting stuck in the port, rendering the laptop useless. He not only repaired and restored it back to it's original state, he serviced it as well. Ali performed the delicate "surgery" required and I am so happy I chose this gifted gentleman to do the work. He has a customer for life with me!! read more

Came in with some problems I thought to be a software issue but it turned out to be a hardware issue. Ali is super helpful. He explained what could be a problem and planned out what we can do to trouble shoot it. My pc still has warranty for hardwares so we ended up calling Dell to send it in. He didn't charge me anything but we're going to be in touch so I can call him later for some upgrades and let him know what actually happened with my computer. This is the guy that you want to send your stuff to get repaired. Definitely recommended!!! read more

Ali is very responsive and did an excellent job transferring my data from one laptop that was in a nonstop loop to a new laptop. Sometimes he talked a little over my head with tech talk, but that's OK, because he did a great job and you cannot beat his prices. Highly recommend Ali! read more

I found Ali here on Yelp after getting tired of being hosed by Discount Electronics repeatedly. He knows what he is doing, and will treat you right. He will give his honest opinions and not overcharge for his work. I'm a repeat customer and as far as I am concerned, I have found my computer guy. read more

Ali helped me turn my old turtle of an i Mac into a snappy jackrabbit by installing a new 1TB solid state internal hard drive. For right around $200 I feel like I have a brand new computer. Thank you so much, Ali! read more

Ali was excellent! Will be taking all my Mac computers to him for repairs. He was patient with the issues that kept arising with my computer, and charged a very low price compared to most Mac repair spots I've looked into. He was also conveniently located right next door to my home and let me know the moment my computer was ready to pick up! read more

I was really impressed by this guy's responsiveness and great service. It's so rare to find someone who actually takes pride in his work. My PC is working again; this guy is fantastic. read more

I met Ali when I set up my HelloTech Ring Doorbell installation through Amazon. Ali works independently and does more than Ring installation. His communication was great prior to the appointment and he was on time. He also made sure that he did the job right - the way he would do it for his own home. I very much appreciated Ali's help and would highly recommend his services. read more

Ali is the best hands down. He also explains what he thinks is wrong, how he's going to fix it. The wrong part was shipped, but other than that, his work is timely as he fixed/replaced parts in two of my laptops, and they now perform better than a brand new one I just bought. I ordered parts myself, so he didn't mark up the price on the hard drive and screen. His labor price was so low, I actually offered to pay a little more, because he saved me a lot of money on the parts. When I replace my hard drive on my new laptop sometime next year, I definitely will use Ali again. And I will definitely refer other customers to him. Unbelievably good service, prices, and experience. This is probably is the best review of any business I've ever given. read more

Ali was incredibly responsive and fixed our son's laptop for school in one day. He was very professional and even communicated over text what the possible issues could be. We lucked out in that he did not need to order parts and we are very grateful for his honesty and quick turn around for our son since he needed his laptop for school. Thanks Ali - we will be back! read more

I spilled water on my Macbook and was really desperate to figure out if I fried any components or damaged my computer. I had an engineer friend who was ready to look at it, but we didn't have the proper tools to unscrew my Mac to inspect the inside. Around 6pm on a Saturday, I called Ali and asked if he could help me open it up so we can inspect. When I got to his place, he was very kind, opened up my Mac, offered further advice on the inner components and handling, and was especially generous enough to lend me a few screw drivers so we could deconstruct the board. In the end, my computer turned out alright and just needed to dry out. If I have any issues, I'll be coming back to Ali as he has an obvious delicacy and care for solving computer issues. Thank you Ali! read more

Unreserved five stars. Had an issue with my wifi and zoom, and Spectrum was no help. Thought about taking it to the campus store but I really needed to test it on my network. I've used remote computer repair before but Ali blew that out of the water. Fast response (at 6p) and fixed in ten minutes while walking me through everything he was doing. Will definitely return. read more

Ali is Outstanding!!! The fan in my HP computer had been making lots of noise. I contacted Ali, who quickly responded. He had the replacement fan in a day, thanks to Amazon. He installed it in less than a half hour and he was so affordable. Ali followed CDC Covid protocols. I had a new quiet laptop within 2 days. He is so knowledgeable as I asked him a bunch of questions about monitors and other laptops. I highly recommend him. read more

Top notch service, and at a fair, no-nonsense price for both parts and labor. Ali did great work and I would absolutely recommend him!

Prompt - priced well / he's flexible and will work with you. No complains at all - he's good people and won't charge stupid money unless it's about the part. Honestly, I think he could easily charge more, but he's humble. He's frnnñ uph huhh I'm informative read more

He was able to get my computer working back to normal without having to open it up or replace anything. 10 out of 10.

I had issues with my desktop computer and had exhausted all of my 'fix' options with a number of computer repair places/locations. The only place that knew exactly what they were doing was Ali. This is the only computer repair place I will ever deal with in the future. Hands down the most knowledgeable, prompt and professional company I have ever dealt with. And, software issues can be addressed via telephone. Call today! read more

Ali did an awesome job fixing an old iMac for me. He had great communication with me through yelp, trying to help me even before I booked his services. He found a used power supply for me and replaced it and now it is working perfectly. He picked up my computer from me and dropped it back off, masked and socially distanced due to COVID. Ali followed up with me a week later to make sure the computer and the used part were working OK. His price was more than fair for the service he provided - others wanted the same amount to diagnose the issue, even though I told them what the issue was through my own research. They would have charged me 3 times for the same repair Ali did. I highly recommend Ali and would not hesitate to use him again. Excellent communication. read more

After having spent $200.00 trying to get my laptop fixed by a big box store to have them say I would have to order a part myself and gave me the wrong part number, I was wary. But Ali diagnosed my problem within five minutes. No need to order another part or send my laptop back to the factory. And get this he didn't charge me!! He was helpful, efficient and knowledgeable. He even wrote a note to the big box store for me to try to get a refund and he spent a few minutes with my son answering a few of his questions. Very honest guy. He's got my business and should get yours too. read more

Ali is the best! I had a hinge bust on my Dell Inspiron laptop (well know problem). Fortunately, my screen hadn't broken. Naturally, my warranty had ended about 2 weeks prior. I contacted Ali via Yelp, and he responded almost immediately, even though it was about 10 PM on a Saturday night! Ali quoted me an extremely reasonable price for the replacement part. (I had initially checked into extending my warranty with DELL, but the price was triple Ali's quote, and I'm pretty sure my laptop's pre-existing condition would have been excluded). Ali did a great job fixing the hinge on my laptop. In addition, he came to my house to pick it up, fixed it in his shop, and returned it to me! I don't know that he includes pickup and delivery services in all cases - I may have gotten lucky - perhaps he was going past my neighborhood already. In any case, I was astounded with Ali's service, technically and interpersonally. Super nice guy. Will use Ali for any computer needs I have in the future! read more

I initially found Ali early this year (2014) while looking computer repair services on yelp. (to start with, I know a decent bit about computer myself (engineer + software programmer), so I could at least get a fair assessment of his skills with computers) anyways, my laptop had overheating issues . I found some services which charged on hourly basis as they will come to your home and do the repairs. Their quote price was very unreasonable . Then I found Ali's service. I called him and discussed the laptop's heating issues. He was very forthcoming and charged a reasonable fee for his services. He cleaned the dirt in my fan, replaced the thermal paste and returned a smooth running machine. I found him very trustworthy . I have used his help twice since then. broken laptop screen on two occasions and have taken help of Ali to replace it. (Sony E series laptop). He was very prompt with his response and answered all of my questions to the best of his knowledge. from what i had gathered through my online searches before I had called, his quotes reflected the true prices of hardware on ebay/amazon, and was really charging my only for his labor. I have even asked for his recommendations for parts to be replaced on my laptop. Very helpful person and I am very satisfied with his services. I highly recommend Ali to anyone who needs to fix their computers. read more

Ali was quick to answer my text when my daughter spilled water on her laptop. We were able to drop the computer off almost immediately and Ali opened it up and explained his process. Within a week we had the computer back just like new. I definitely recommend reaching out to Ali as he was available, affordable and really great at communicating with us along the way. I saved his number and he'll be the first person I call if I ever need computer repair again. Thanks, Ali! read more

Ali was very responsive and available. I was able to bring him my computer outside of hours and it was on a weekend! He was able to have my computer back to me in less than one week. It likely would have been sooner if my computer issue had been something in the software, but parts of my actual laptop were broken to the point that I could not close my laptop, so he had to order a part. He even shared the tracking number with me so I could see when my part would be arriving to him. When I picked my computer up, Ali was very good at explaining to me everything that he did. He was also very affordable, and not overpriced. I will definitely use him again for my computer needs and recommend anyone else to use him as well! read more

I came to Ali with a newly built gaming PC that seemed to have a part DOA. I called him mid Sunday morning and he was able to see me literally 15 minutes later. Met him with the system, both of us masked up, and he did a pretty thorough but fairly quick diagnosis of the issue I had talked about over the phone. Fortunately it was a super simple fix of me not seeing an extra cable that needed to connect into the power unit that I had probably missed after the marathon of putting the machine together a couple of days beforehand. He not only fixed that issue, but touched up a couple other issues such as RAM placement I had misread, as well as recommending placement for the graphics card and getting the drives all set up. He did all of this while explaining what he was doing, and steps to walk through, that way he's not just rustling around inside the computer leaving you in the dark about what to do should an issue arise again. The price he also charged me is beyond fair, I wanted to pay him more! He deserves more! Before you go to that 3 1/2 star PC Repair place over in the strip mall by your house that'll charge you $100+ just to get your system on the table for a diagnostic, let alone a repair, call Ali. I can almost guarantee he can help you out faster and better read more

I've used Ali Computer Repair several times over the past six months and have always been pleased. Each time I was able to set up an appointment quickly, and Ali was good about returning calls & texts timely. Ali has helped me with updating software on an older HP Pavillion laptop that was running excruciatingly slow to help get it running smoothly, updating to El Capitan on a MacBook Pro, successfully troubleshooting an issue trying to connect to a secure internet site, and another issue with being able to send/receive email and email settings. Ali is very personable and patient and I won't hesitate to call on him again if the need arises! read more
