    Phyllo Wrapped Shrimp
    Shannon W.

Outstanding experience, loved sitting outside on a pleasant evening. (The place was quite packed!) Food was incredible, great service, beautiful ambiance. I can't say enough great things! The outdoor space is just so lovely, and the heat lamps are a nice touch for the nights it does get chilly. We started with two glasses of wine, they have a nice selection of wines by the glass and give you a nice pour (close to 9oz!) The bread they give us was so warm and tasty, and the butter was the best I've ever had, omg! I need to get some of that! It was creamy, slight garlic flavor, and had an easy spreadable consistency - right at room temperature (which is how it should always be served!) We then split the shrimp phyllo which was unlike anything I've ever had, and a huge appetizer too. Loved the aioli sauce that came with it. The phyllo pastry was unique and delicious. Very European. They had a ton of specials for dinner, so it was really hard to choose, but I went with the crispy duck and it did not disappoint. First off, it was a lot of food. Secondly, it was cooked to perfection and the lingonberries were a nice touch. Lots of meat on this duck! And the skin was so nice and crispy. We did not order dessert, but I was so tempted too. I know it would have been out of this world!

    Jumbo scallops with shrimp risotto

Jumbo scallops with shrimp risotto, this was a special yesterday. They were outstanding and absolutely delicious. My had two different versions of duck. The roasted duck is a regular menu item which was delicious and my other friend had a grilled duck steak. Everything was wonderful.

    Lushious cocktail!

Top Notch Service. Mia was our server, a fellow New Englander. She was perfect and made some great suggestions - we loved them all. The ambiance cannot be beat. We really loved it.

Simple food done the right way flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. The atmosphere is casual which keeps cost down but don't let that fool you. During the off-season, they offer curated wine flights on Fridays, which is a great perk for locals. The selections are chosen specifically based on your tastes, which worked perfectly for our group since we all enjoy very different styles of wine. Each flight felt thoughtfully put together and matched our preferences really well. It was also fun trying everyone else's and discovering new favorites. They also sell bottles of the wines, which is a nice bonus if you find something you love. The food menu isn't huge, but everything we've tried has been excellent. They rotate certain items weekly, including the chef sampler, which I've ordered both times I've visited. The first time had more of an Asian influence, with gochujang wings and crab rangoon egg rolls. The second visit featured a mix of flavors, including pickled Calabrian chili with goat cheese, escargot, and cabbage spring rolls. It's been a few days and we're still talking about how good it was. We also tried the "Send Me Nudies" (points for the clever, punny name). The pasta was soft and pillowy, and the sauce was packed with flavor. This place has quickly become one of my new favorites. It's family-owned, and the atmosphere reflects that, everyone is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely fun to chat with. Definitely worth a visit!

There is street parking and a small private parking lot. I highly recommend reservations on the Resy app about 1-2 weeks in advance, as the restaurant is busy in winter. FOOD: You can choose between a la carte or the Prix Fixe menu. The Prix Fixe is a small-portioned three-course (bite, appetizer, and entrée) menu featuring some of our signature dishes. The Prix Fixe experience begins at $58 per person (there are additional add-ons) for dine-in only. 1. Waterzooi Soup (3/5; Red Farms chicken | caramelized leeks | carrots | local cream | focaccia toast | parsley emulsion | carrot purée): This is a Belgian soup. The serving size of the soup in the prix fixe was relatively small. The presentation was nice, and the chicken soup was a nice winter dish. The chicken broth was savory but at room temperature. 2. Autumn Salad (2/5; mixed artisanal greens | brûléed bucheron cheese | radicchio | toasted French walnuts | red grapes | fig balsamic vinaigrette): I felt like something was lacking from this seasonal autumn salad. It's OK for me, as I mostly ate the bucheron cheese with the grapes and walnuts. 3. Filet Mignon (4/5; seared | maître d'hôtel butter | red wine jus | truffle potato purée | asparagus (additions: sauce Choron, seared foie gras, Maine lobster tail, local exotic Petrichor mushrooms): It was cooked perfectly. This is a staple in the menu. I did not add any of the additionals. The service was great. Our water and drinks did not touch the bottom. The server came around often to check in and give his recommendations. If you want to do order pick up, it is available Tuesday-Saturday between 5 - 8 PM. Would I come back? Yes. I want to try other items on the menu.
