Where do I begin with this absolutely amazing place?! Before finding Aleana's Bridal I had been to several other bridal shops and tried on countless other gowns, none of which were what I envisioned myself in for my wedding day. I was tired of pushy saleswomen who claimed to "just want me to be happy" but in reality just wanted commission from a sale. Other stores did not listen to me and only pushed one type of gown on me. I was ready to give up and just buy an ordinary white gown and call it a day. Enter Aleana's :) I was pleasantly surprised from the moment I walked in the door - the environment is laid back yet professional, and I did not feel any of the pressure I felt at other stores. A great atmosphere here all the way around, and you are given plenty of time without being rushed. Everyone at Aleana's is amazing. I told them what I had envisioned for my gown and they showed me styles that fit my description, and even allowed me to pick out some gowns myself to try on. They truly worked with me to find what gown would look best on my particular body type/shape. I was convinced I did not want a spaghetti strap gown, but they showed me this very unique one that I absolutely loved, and it ended up being the dress for me due to how flattering it was. Please allow the ladies here to help you...you may think you want a particular style but they might have something in mind that they believe will be much more flattering for you, while still incorporating your wants and needs. Every bride is unique and no bridal shop understands that more than Aleana's. It doesn't hurt to at least try on what they suggest - and I'm so happy I did. Lana and Jamie are total sweethearts and made the process a very enjoyable one for me...and I'm someone who really wasn't thrilled with the idea of trying on wedding gowns. I also got my bridesmaids gowns here. Ginny, Lana and Jamie all were wonderful with helping us choose a gown that everyone would be happy with. Although there was one or two mixups with sizes once the dresses came in, Lana and Jamie were quick to let me know about it and the issue was resolved immediately. They truly care about their brides and clients. They do not offer alterations for bridesmaids gowns, but that's true of most bridal shops. My girls got their dresses altered on their own and everything worked out fine. The seamstress was also wonderful, however I can't remember her name. She was a pleasure to work with and did a wonderful job of making my wedding gown fit me perfectly. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Do yourself a favor and go here, don't waste hours of your life in other bridal stores that don't actually care about you like I did. So happy I finally found Aleana's. I highly recommend Aleana's bridal shop. Lana made me a beautiful custom dress for my son's wedding in November. "Elegant", "beautiful", "sophisticated", "slenderizing and well-fitting" are a few of the words my family and friends used to describe my gown and the way I looked on the special day. I came to Aleana's bridal shop by accident but after speaking with Lana about my ideas and hearing hers, I felt totally at ease with her. She is very confident without being arrogant, very skilled and knowledgeable in design and fabrics and takes pride in her work. She told me that she would not let me take my dress home unless she was totally satisfied that it looked great on me and she proved that throughout the process with her attention to detail and to having a good fit. One of the challenges we faced was that my daughter-in-law requested that I wear black. While I did not want to wear a simple style that my guests would wear to the wedding, I also did not want anything too glitzy either. Lana found a beautiful black lace with some gold thread running through it and a beautiful gold and black broach for the dress that really gave it added elegance and many people commented on both. MaryAnn also did a phenomenal job in sewing the dress and giving her input too. At the start of my wedding planning, the thing that I dreaded the most was getting a dress. While I like to look nice, I hate the process of shopping. I am average in terms of weight, but I sometimes have trouble finding clothes because of my proportions and that is why I went with the custom option. Lana and MaryAnn took the stress out of the dressmaking and made it a pleasant part of the wedding planning. I always had individualized attention when I went there and never felt rushed. The dress was ready a couple of weeks before the wedding so there was no last minute stress about the completion of the dress. Where do I even begin! From start to finish, Lana and her team were amazing. I remember walking in to her shop when it was in Ridgewood and thinking it was just another wedding dress appointment. I was so wrong. Lana made me feel beautiful in almost every dress she picked. However, I just didn't get "that feeling". After trying on almost 10 different dresses, the last one was it! It was a Madison James dress in Champagne. As I put it on, I got all the feels. However, I am so indecisive that I was not ready to make a decision yet especially since it was not in the color I wanted. Long story short, I tried it on numerous times bringing my mom, sister and best friend to see it before saying yes. Even though I know I was totally being that annoying customer, Lana never made me feel like I was an inconvenience to her and was so patient with me. Once I finally said yes, Lana made the rest of the process seamless. Lana and her team are absolutely amazing!! From helping you pick out the dress right down to the final alteration, she made me feel like I was going to be the most beautiful bride and with the dress I picked and the work they put into it, I definitely felt like it! Not only that, but when I got my dress in, my skin started turning red from the material because turns out my skin was very sensitive to the lace. Before panic could even set in, Lana said she had an idea. She went out and found special material to sow onto the dress so my skin would not irritated. She saved me! My skin did not turn red once after that and I did not have a single worry about my dress. It was perfect. I got married this summer and used Aleana's Bridal for my dress. I could not recommend them more highly. Everyone that works there is so genuine and truly invested in making you 100% happy with your dress and your whole experience. When picking out my dress, the whole team made me feel so comfortable. No judging or upselling in this place which definitely sets them apart from many others. They were so respectful of my budget and helped me find the best style for me since I came in with no idea of what I wanted. Their dress selection is top notch - best variety of styles, designer, price points around. They made every one of my fitting appointments to fun and special, including times where I brought large parties of bridesmaids and family. The seamstresses there are beyond amazing, and I'm still in awe of how perfectly they tailored my beaded lace gown to fit my body so perfectly. I came to Aleana's by chance. My time frame in which I needed a dress in the world of weddings, was tight. I was getting married in 2 months - not enough time to order a dress. I was limited to dresses that were already made and samples. Which would have been fine, if I was happy with what I found. When I first walked in, I only thought she was a standard Bridal Gown shop. She tried to find me a sample dress, but we didn't find one I liked. I was about to leave when I heard her say she could do a custom gown and it could be done in the time frame I needed. She showed me some of her work, and all I could say all of it was nicely constructed. I was sold. our next meeting I came in with a picture of what I wanted and she looked at it and modified it for my body. She has an amazing team of people who work with her. Lena was with me during every step of the pattern making, to muslin shaping to fittings. She and her team have an amazing eye and for the construction of a garment (which let's face it, if it isn't constructed and sewn right it can look like a hot mess). She has respect and pride for her business and it was important for her that I was happy with what I wanted and to make sure that my expectations were managed. Beyond the gorgeous selection of gowns they have, Aleana's Bridal runs their shop in a uniquely personal and truly supportive way. Lana is such a knowledgable owner and her genuine care for her customers extends through her whole staff. When it comes to searching for your bridal gown, they really listen to what you want and understand how you feel. I had no idea what kind of wedding gown to try on when I first went, but Ginny patiently helped me figure it out through trial and error. When we thought we maybe found the dress but I wasn't quite ready, there was no pressure or sales push whatsoever. And ultimately, I ended up coming back to the shop to buy it -- the most beautifully detailed dress that was so romantic and fitting for me. Aleana's also has a flat fee for alterations, which was really important since I went down a couple sizes. Their seamstress is like a FAIRY GODMOTHER who works miracles even when restructuring the dress or modifying lace and beading. They're very talented, and very informative about how to bustle and care for your dress, when you should time your fittings, etc. My bridesmaids and mom also purchased their dresses here because it was such a great experience and there were so many beautiful options to choose from and at fair price points. I LOVE Aleana's Bridal!! You do not need to shop anywhere else! The selection, service and price are incomparable. I bought my wedding dress and my bridesmaids dresses here. I visited several bridal salons and their service left a lot to be desired. The first time I went to Aleana's I was shopping for bridesmaids dresses. Me and my MOH were immediately greeted and paired with Milda. Milda was so nice and listened to what we were looking for and we selected a Dessy After Six gown. All of my maids love the dress. I went back the following weekend with my mom to look for my wedding dress and Ginny was my consultant. Ginny was amazing and listened to exactly what I was looking for. She was patient, accommodating, and kind. She was also so sweet to my mom and let her pull a bunch of dresses and get really involved in the selection process. Before stumbling upon Aleana's, I had went to many other bridal shops who made me feel pressured into purchasing a dress. It took my mother over a dozen dresses, three bridal boutiques and two horrible experiences with very nasty sales people to finally find Aleana's Bridal.... and I couldn't have been happier. My wedding was just months away and my mother was not happy with how her experience was going with finding her Mother of the Bride gown. I visited many bridal shops looking for the right gown that fit my vision. No matter what anyone brought out i just never found the "it" gown. I searched online for someone who would be able to make a custom gown the way i envisioned it and came across Aleana's Bridal. I visited the boutique and explained to her what i was looking for. The owner sat down with me, heard me out and showed she cared to get me the perfect gown. Although the price of a custom gown was out of my budget, just by hearing my ideas she said "I think I have the perfect gown for you" and she went and picked out a gown. My daughter and me went to a few salons in Bergen county and New York but no one was able to provide us with the atmosphere and service quite as wonderful and welcoming as Aleana's bridal. Everyone was exceptionally helpful and happy to assist. They gave us the best advice possible and put all the time and effort to satisfy our requests. I was the maid of honor in my sister's wedding and I was lucky to be referred to go to Aleana's Bridal when searching for bridal stores. This was the first store we went to and did not have to try any others, we were able to find the perfect dress for her very easily thanks to Lana's help. This was the only part of wedding planning that was not stressful, Lana and her staff are very knowledgeable, extremely sweet and they did everything to make sure the bride was happy and the dress fit perfectly which in our case was even more work for them since she was pregnant. They advised us to have her last couple of alterations right before the wedding to make sure they adjust it based on her belly size and were right because she did not have to worry about fitting into the dress and looked amazing once they were done. Around this time last month I was in a panic state for a mother of the bride formal dress. I visited a lot of stores but did not find anything I truly want. Also most of them were not helpful. I made some phone calls and Lana was very helpful on the phone and went out of her way to accommodate me for an immediate appointment. Her store carried a selective line of dresses ,quality ones and reasonably priced. I found my dress and with Lana's guidance did a minor alteration on the sleeves which made it even more perfect for me. I would highly recommend this shop. Service is personalized and above par. Lana and her team did a wonderful job with my dress and everything was done on time. Also they custom made the veil for my daughter which was perfect for her dress. AMAZING!!!! I wish I could give them a million stars!!! The moment I walked in the door I felt very welcome. Lana is so sweet and patient also very knowledgeable. I went to MANY different shops, most of them acted like they didn't want to be bothered by me. Not exactly how a bride wants to feel. Lana took her time to help me find the perfect gown.
