I am absolutely thrilled with how my wedding dress turned out and highly recommend shopping at Aleana's Bridal. The store has an amazing selection of gowns, a lovely atmosphere and is very spacious. However, the best part about the store is the amazing owner and her fantastic seamstress. The owner Lana is incredibly knowledgable about dresses, styles and fits. She can help you find a dress that is perfect for your body and then work with the seamstress to ensure it is perfect. Lana is incredibly caring, thoughtful and accommodating. Lana supported me through the selection and fitting process, and the skilled seamstress was able to make significant changes to my dress to have it fit as I hoped. The prices were incredibly fair for the high quality dress and work. I just received my wedding pictures back and couldn't be happier with the dress. read more

It might just be me, but I wasn't comfortable in this bridal store. The prices are pretty unrealistic, especially for the dresses I tried on, and I was put off by not being allowed to take any photos. If I'm going to buy something from you, I would like to take a picture so I can keep revisiting it to make a good decision. All e other places i went to were totally cool with it, which sold me on returning to their locations. The sales associate was a little too high energy for me- I'm more of a relaxed and easy going person, so that made me uncomfortable- plus I don't like being called pet names by a stranger. I'm not going to bash them, I'm sure I just had an awkward experience, but it just wasn't for me. I would advise sales associates to allow the bride to be to make the decisions on what to try on (price range or not) and to allow photos. It really does help with making decisions read more

I went here with a friend, hoping that we would be able to find her a wedding dress. She had made an appointment in advance, giving them a budget as well as the type of style she was looking for. We walked in, and it was all downhill from there. The dresses they brought out were not at all the style she was looking for. We asked the saleswoman if she could try on other dresses, but she was very hesitant to letting her try any other dresses on. She refused to allow us to see any dresses outside of the given price range, which is ridiculous. A customer should be allowed to try any item that they request, especially if this woman expects to make a sale. My bride wanted to try a few other dresses, but the saleswoman refused, eyeing my friend and citing that the dresses ran small. They have no variety when it comes to sample sizes. My friend felt snubbed by this saleswoman, so we quickly left to visit David's Bridal for a much better experience in customer service. read more

My experience at Aleana's Bridal was a wonderful one! We planned our wedding in only two months, which could have potentially brought some roadblocks (not enough time to order things, etc)....but Lana made it so much more simple for us :). She put our minds at ease straight away and found my bridesmaids the perfect dresses. They looked so elegant on the day. As it was a winter wedding (we got married at the end of December) I wanted my bridesmaids to have a silky 'shawl' to wear over their dress. Aleana worked with me to pick the perfect color and silk... and even had a look in NYC for the perfect shade on her day off. She found the most beautiful material and hand-sewed the shawls for my bridesmaids. They were perfect! In fact, she also did a beautifully, elegant one for me. It was the perfect addition for a few wintery pictures we took outside. I must also add that I had to add a bridesmaid last minute and Aleana was able to find her a dress that worked perfectly with the others. She was always calm, accommodating and super friendly. I loved every encounter I had with her and would refer her to all my friends and family. I liked how this place pulled dresses for you based on what style you explained to them. I can not say enough praise for this bridal shop. They were able to accommodate me as a last minute client on a Saturday afternoon! I worked with Milda but Aleana was never too far away to provide advice or assistance. ALL the dresses I tried on were beautiful. That was the only hard part of the appointment. However, Milda was great at narrowing down dresses that would work best for my wedding venue & style. She was never pushy and I never felt obligated to buy a dress right there & then. Actually, right at the beginning of the appointment, she suggested that I take at least two days to look over the different styles of dresses since it might be overwhelming to look at all the different styles I was interested in all in one day. Unfortunately, I was only in town for that day so if I were to find a dress there that day, great, if not, then we'll have to look elsewhere. We looked at several dresses & I ended up choosing a dress that made both my mom & I tear up as soon as they put the veil on. That was what I was waiting for. I can not express enough how much I loved by experience at Aleana's Bridal. I had gone to one other large bridal store in NYC and had the worst experience. When contacting Aleana's I explained what I wanted and they fit me in right away for my first appointment. The salon is comfortable and your consultant gives you their full attention. They allowed me to look at their racks to see the gowns for myself and pull what I liked. I had expressed that I only wanted to see dresses that would allow me to add sleeves or came with sleeves. I ended up finding the perfect gown that I would be able to add sleeves to. They did not rush the experience or make me feel pressured in any way. They were patient and really listened to what I wanted. Approximately eight months later I went for my first fitting where we began the process of fitting the dress and creating my sleeves. They also created a custom veil with the same lace from my dress. They really take the time to ensure that you are happy with your purchase and feel comfortable in your dress. I loved my dress off the rack, but i cant express how amazing they made me feel in my dress once they completed my sleeves and made essentially a custom gown and custom veil. I cried at my last fitting knowing I would not be able to visit these wonderful women anymore. Aleana's gives a bridal experience unlike any other salon. I went to Aleana's bridal for my wedding gown. The woman who helped me try on many, many dresses before I found the perfect one, was helpful and fun to work with and was very knowledgeable about each dress, design, and material. (I believe her name was Rosemary) I did find my perfect dress and ordered it. However, When I went for my fitting appointments, I left each time feeling disappointed and unsatisfied with how the dress looked. The seamstress seemed more interested in explaining why something looked a certain way instead of trying to fix it. In the end, the dress fit perfectly but I would expect a bridal shop to try a little harder to make the bride feel comfortable in the dress she's going to wear on such a special day, and I feel that was missing from this experience. read more

Words cannot express how happy my family and I were to meet with the staff of Aleana's Bridal! When it came to dress shopping, I was an extremely indecisive bride, and easily overwhelmed with many options. I came to Aleana's and my consultant, Miki, was absolutely amazing from the moment I met her. She took a few minutes in the beginning to go over styles I liked, what I was looking for etc. She allowed me to try on dress after dress, and never was impatient with me with going back and forth. She truly took the time to understand my vision (even if at times I didn't know how to articulate it), and answered so many of my questions from what different colors by designers would look like, how the cut of certain dresses would fit on my shape, etc. My mom was thrilled/grateful for the time she spent with us during our two appointments in my dress hunt, especially with how knowledgeable she and Lana were. Additionally, Lana the owner, also took the time to come over and give us her opinion on how styles looked on me, and even took the time to speak to the designer of a trunk show they had to see if customizations were possible. Both Lana and Miki took the time to spend with us one on one, and were never pushy about making a sale, but allowed me to figure out what I wanted on my own time. Beautiful town. This store, however, was not nearly as pleasant. It has a great appearance, clean, minimalist and organized. The appointments were running 20 minutes late so a representative asked us to go across the street for some coffee but we didn't want to but she insisted we leave. There were no seats available for guests waiting (which was unfortunate for the husbands carrying infants). Then she didn't allow us to browse the dresses which we understood not wanting to confuse the finishing bridal party. Despite all this, we waited and were polite. Finally, our time had come and we filled out the information card and gave the other representative our ideas. She allowed us to browse the bridesmaid dresses; note that there wasn't a wide selection. The representative also picked out a few for us and we proceeded to try the choices on. With every dress, the representative felt the need to mention whether or not the dress was her choice or not, "Oh, that definitely wasn't my choice. I made sure I got you ladies the most popular ones." So if it wasn't hers, then it was one of our choices and after that statement, made anyone who picked the dress feel poorly about her decision. The commentary from her continued and after we tried on all the dresses. She gave us the run down of how long alterations would take, etc. then walked away to the next group. We stood there confused as to what the next step was, do we leave or was she coming back after our discussion? After 5 minutes, we finally caught her attention and asked if there was anything else and she said no. We had to ask for the business card and go find it ourselves on the desk amongst other papers scattered about. Our group visited 15 stores before this and were fortunate to have great experiences until we came here. They didn't even have the courtesy to introduce themselves to us. read more

I had a wonderful experience shopping for a MOB dress at Aleana's Bridal for my daughter's upcoming wedding. I was waited on by a lovely saleswoman named Lisa who really listened to me about my style preferences and figure issues. She pulled just the right kinds of dresses including a dress that I had not initially chosen but that she said would look beautiful on. She was right. The dress looked amazing. Unfortunately I did not end up purchasing a dress from this shop as I came across the perfect dress for this affair and venue from a manufacturer that Aleana's does not carry. Lana was so gracious when I told her that I would not be back in.She even referred me to a great tailor for my alterations. My son is getting married next June (2018) and I will definitely shop for my 2nd MOB dress at Aleana's Bridal! read more

This was the first and last place I went to purchase my wedding dress. I made an appointment online and received a conformation phone call before my appointment. When they called, they asked some basic questions to help prepare for the appointment. I showed up to the appointment with my MOH, grandmothers, mother, and mother in law. My appointment was with Barbara, and she was fantastic the whole appointment that lasted 2 hours. She made me feel very comfortable, never rushed, and ultimately helped me make my final decision. That is not to say that she pressured me into my dress, but her experience, and knowledge made me realize that the dress I picked was the perfect choice. I went back for my alterations and never had to wait for someone to help me, but they were waiting for me with my dress. The dress was perfectly fitted to me on my wedding day and there was not a single thing wrong with it. read more

I was at Aleana's this week. I'm a size 8-10 and curvy. I am also a runner so I am pretty toned. The entire time that we were there, I felt like the attendant was trying to make me select the dress material that she felt would fit my body. I like crepe, and while I have some cellulite, it is nothing that a simple Spanx can't fix. The attendant made me feel like the material that I like - the quality, the way it falls, the way it appears in photos - was wrong. I tried all the other materials she brought, but I didn't like them as much. She made me feel fat - whether or not that was her intention. I wouldn't go back. Further - my aunt picked a dress she wanted me to try and the attendant never brought it to me, after the attendant told my aunt that it would not look good on me. I was quite surprised because I read such great reviews. It was a disheartening and disappointing experience. I would ask for an appointment with the attendants that are mentioned as great if you decide to go there. read more

I had a fantastic experience getting my wedding dress at Aleana's! I looked at A LOT of dresses at a lot of stores and ended up buying a gown I found at Aleana's. There were a ton of alterations to do on the dress and I couldn't have asked for a better, more professional experience. The seamstress I worked with was fantastic and went above and beyond necessary alterations to make the dress fit me even better than I could have imagined. My dress had a fairly intricate lace front and back detail and she did a great job fixing the fit without messing up the lace detail. I got so many compliments at my wedding because of how perfectly the dress fit. The price was lower at this salon than the same dress at a Manhattan salon, and the flat rate for alterations was the best I found! read more

It was just wonderful. I called to make and appointment for the following day, but had to cancel the day of. They were wonderful. Then I realized I was able to reschedule and called again for the following day and without a problem an appointment was made. We were seen right on time and my sales lady asked for my style and budget. She showed me nothing out of budget and everything that was my style. She would ask if I wanted to try a different style and I would agree to try (why not?), but never once was she pushy about it. Lana came over as well to offer assistance, and neither woman could have been more helpful. Within less than an hour, I had found my dress, and measuring and purchasing the dress was done without headache. I also live on the other side of the country and therefore the alteration timeline is a little pressed, so I was worried. Howeever, they were so accommodating and my short timeframe will not be an issue. They even gave us a bottle of champagne to take home as a gift of congratulations! I am so happy with the dress and the experience and I cannot wait for my fitting. I will definitely recommend this salon! *update- I called when I was arriving back home and they made an appointment for me, no problem, I had two fittings and a final one where I got to bring the dress home. They could not have been more accommodating and kind through the entire process. They helped make my wedding the stress free and wonderfully fun experience it was. read more

I came into Aleana's Bridal just looking for a veil and a few other accessories, having already purchased my dress at another store. Although I did not have an appointment, Lana made time to help me with trying on various accessories and giving suggestions as to how to wear them. I'm not one to buy anything on the spot, so my mom and I went to lunch and came back a couple hours later to try everything on one last time before purchasing. Lana was so accommodating and we had a lovely conversation with her as we were checking out. When my mom went back the following week to pick up the veil and head piece for me, she said she was so impressed with how beautiful it all looked. I cannot recommend Aleana's Bridal enough after my recent experience with Lana and Jamie! First of all, I just want to commend all the steps the bridal shop has implemented to make sure their store is safe during these COVID times. The store took all necessary steps to clean, disinfect, social distance, and make sure that we were comfortable. Even with these small obstacles, Lana and Jamie made me feel like the most important person in the room! Before I arrived, Lana had spent an hour with me doing a virtual consultation where we talked about my style and what I was looking for. Lana, with all her vast knowledge and excellent taste was able to pinpoint specific dresses for me. These dresses were in my fitting room when I arrived for my in store appointment and I was able to find and purchase the perfect dress for me that day! It was really exciting for me that someone was able to understand my style in such a short amount of time speaking. Jamie was also the sweetest and did an amazing job by helping me make my final decision. Jamie is so friendly and a great consultant! Overall, Aleana's Bridal provides you with a luxury boutique experience no matter what your budget is. I bought my wedding dress, veil and earrings at Aleana bridal and had a great experience. Aleana (the owner) is very charismatic and attentive and takes her time to help you find a gown for your body type and that works with what you are looking for. Her staff is very professional and pleasant to work with. My dress was beautiful and the veil was the perfect complement. I would give Aleana Bridal five stars, but there was one thing that bothered me a little bit, during the alterations process, I worked with Lana who is a very sweet and hardworking lady and great seamstress. On my second to last fitting, I realized there was a small issue with the dress, where my skin was coming out a bit under my arms towards my chest, in other words too much material was cut from the top...Lana fixed the issue and my dress looked fantastic at the end of the day and I was very happy, but I was charged $80 extra since it was a lot of manual work to fix it. Now, Aleana's alteration prices are already very reasonable so I didn't put up a fight and just paid, but I would have appreciated if they didn't charge me extra given that I brought them business (including my 7 bridesmaids dresses and my dress and veil and such) and this was clearly not something I should be penalized for. Overall, my experience was great and I would refer friends here because they do an awesome job. read more

I was not impressed. We came looking for bridesmaid dresses, but the selection left something to be desired. The selection was small compared to other places and they were expensive for the quality. The staff was friendly and welcoming, but didn't seem to really understand what we were looking for. Our consultant kept pulling dresses in materials we didn't want (I don't like ruching), and dresses that did not come in my color. My experience was borderline harrowing. Your sales associate Barbara is incredibly pushy. While browsing dresses she was hounding my friend (the bride) with unnecessary questions. ( what's the venue, what kind of phone do you have, just silly questions). She was breathing down our necks. I went to try on bridesmaid dresses, I declined Barbara's request to come into the fitting room with me. I was in the middle of trying one on ( I was NAKED) and she peaks her head in. Incredibly innapropriate. She didn't even leave when I said I wasn't done. She just kept talking. It is incredibly appaling a grown woman would make you so uncomfortable as to watch you change. Sick. I came in because they said they have many resort dresses and that was not the case when I went for my appointment. The owner kept pulling dressed that I said no to and told my mom I was a problem because I wouldn't try them on... whatever... didn't want to wait my time. I had an extremely negative experience at this bridal salon. I had been to several bridal salons prior to this visit and had a good idea of a few things I did not want, one of those things being lace. Personally, I think lace is beautiful and classy and makes me look like an old lady. My sister-in-law just wore lace at her wedding and was the personification of elegance but its just not for me. When I mentioned this to Lana, it felt as if I had slapped her in the face and personally insulted her. She proceeded to question why I did like it. I explained it wasn't my taste and I thought it made me look frumpy. She proceeded to tell me "all of the young girls are wearing lace now" - as if to say my opinion was wrong? She then put me in 3 dresses, all of which had some form of lace, one of which was covered in lace. And then told me if I didn't like any of those three, I wouldn't like anything she had. I was happy to leave but would have preferred my time not have been wasted if each and every one of her dresses contained some form of lace. Be up front with me, tell me lace is very in and popular, all of your dresses have lace, and if its not my taste, I would be better suited elsewhere, without making me feel like an inferior imbecile. Again, I was happy to take my business elsewhere but know what you're in for when you arrive. read more

I'm currently living in Tulsa, OK, but I have been back in New Jersey visiting my family for the holidays. My fiancé proposed the day after Christmas, and I have to go back to Tulsa on Saturday. I knew I wanted a wedding dress moment with my mom, even though I knew it was quite soon, and I haven't begun to plan at all. I also had no idea what I wanted at all. I truly believed I was just going to look. Turns out, Lana is a genius. She was able to pull dresses that were unbelievably amazing for me. Truly an amazing and memorable experience!! I went to Aleana's bridal looking for someone who would be able to make a custom bridal gown for my wedding. I knew exactly what I wanted, and had been searching for it at many bridal stores all over NYC and the tri-state area, including all of the big well-known ones. I couldn't find anything that came close to what I wanted. When I met with the owner, Svetlana, she was able to sketch exactly what I envisioned for my wedding dress, and then turn it into a reality, step by step. She worked with me over several months...from sketches, to fabric swatches, to fittings, etc. It was such a wonderful experience to be able to see my dream come to life, and to work with somebody as talented as Svetlana. She has all the experience and the attention to detail that was needed to create a dress like this. And it was truly one of a kind! All of our family and friends, as well as my husband on our wedding day, were stunned when I came walking down the aisle!! No one had ever seen such a wedding dress!! Even the photographers! Gorgeous rich silk satin with custom embroidery and beading on a hidden corseted sweetheart bodice with off the shoulder detail and a full ball-gown skirt, complete with 16 foot train!!! That's right...I said 16 foot train on the dress!! And an Italian lace cathedral veil with barely-there blusher that reached just beyond the end of the train!!! Also brought to life by Svetlana! My dream come true and an unbelievable one of a kind gown fitted to me with perfection!! And the experience leading up to my wedding day was made all the more unique and memorable by working with Svetlana! I don't know what I would've done if I hadn't have found her! (Settle for something else that would have been at the very least disappointing, and forfeit my life-long dream, or sell an arm and a leg to get it from a big store!) And I'll never forget the whole experience and how incredible I felt on my wedding day, and when I saw the look on my husband's face coming down the aisle in that dress!!
