Wow wow wow. Lana and her team are absolutely amazing and I cannot recommend them enough. TLDR: No need to look anywhere else, you have found the #1 bridal shop and team right here. If I could leave 10 stars I would. I found Aleana's Bridal on Yelp last year and it was the first place I went to try on dresses. When we went in November for my first appointment, our consultant, Olivia, was ready with a variety of different dress options for me (as I was very unfamiliar with the different style names etc), and after trying on a few, she knew exactly what I was looking for. Ended up finding the perfect dress that day! We asked for a couple days to commit as we had other appointments the following days, and commitment is scary! After going to one other bridal shop, I immediately knew this was the dress I wanted and that Aleana's Bridal is where I wanted it from. The experience I had at Aleana's was unmatched and the competition simply could not hold a candle to the high bar set by Olivia. We cancelled all other appointments, called Aleana's and paid for the dress that day. Fast forward to getting the dress a few months later... I live in Austin so my mom picked it up from Aleana's and flew over with the dress so I could get the fittings and alterations done in Austin rather than have to fly back and forth multiple times. When I tried the dress on it was quite large on me. I had already ripped off the tags and the seamstress here said she could alter it for me for basically half the price of the whole dress, or I could return it and try again. I was besides myself - this is less than 3 months before my wedding! I called Aleana's and emailed distraught. Lana, the owner, called me back and was so kind and helpful - she texted with me, sent me measurement instructions, and even facetimed me while I was trying the dress on again at the Austin alterations spot. She managed to disarm me and took me out of my mental and emotional spiral calmly and with solutions. She did not argue with me once. Even though it was most likely a mistake made by the designer and not anything Lana and her team did wrong, she still was willing to go above and beyond to help save the day. I ended up taking my dress back from the Austin spot and bringing it with me back to Aleana's when I was visiting home in July. Lana and her magician of a seamstress, Elena, worked with my short schedule and limited availability to get my dress altered to PERFECTION in less than 2 weeks and 3 fitting appointments. Lana was there to check in on the progress and ensure I was not just satisfied but happy with the dress and my experience. Even Olivia came by and checked in. In many cases, the sales person and the owner have no interest in you after the sale is completed, and especially if you have any issues or complaints. Not the incredible women at Aleana's! I cannot even state how impressed I was by each and everyone of them. I got married 2 weeks ago and got SOOO many compliments on the dress and how perfectly it fit. While I don't plan on getting married again (fingers crossed lol) if I ever did - there is no question in my mind where I would go - ALEANA'S BRIDAL will forever have my pick, 10/10 recommend to everyone and anyone! I said Yes to the Dress at Aleana's Bridal last weekend and had the best experience! Tovah was my stylist and she was so sweet and really knowledgeable about the different types of dresses. After showing her pictures of my dream dress she knew exactly what I was looking for. Plus she made me feel beautiful! I highly recommend this store and highly recommend scheduling with Tovah. I was super excited to be attending a dress fitting for a bride-to-be and the fact that it's my future daughter-in-law makes my heart sing! Getting to Aleana's was pretty simple. My phone GPS took me right there. Driving down Route 17 can be distracting and there's quite bit of traffic but I was extra careful not to pass the place so I wouldn't have to go all the way around. (Tip: slow down on Route 17 when your GPS states you are about 2-3 minutes away) Walking into the building where Aleana's was located was really pretty. Aleana's was upstairs in the building but the walls leading up were painted rose and had mannequins with wedding dresses sprinkled throughout. The ladies at Aleana's were AMAZING! It was 5:30 at night when we arrived but they acted like we were their first customers. They were so energetic and passionate about what they do! So much appreciated their professionalism and enthusiasm. Apparently my future DIL had a virtual phone appointment with them where she explained details regarding the type of dress she desired (materials, color, neckline, length) and they took the time to show her dresses. The dresses my future DIL had chosen during the call were already set aside in her dressing room ready for her appointment. Some additional things I appreciated that they took extra care and time in: - They discussed the pricing structure with her beforehand and made sure they were fully aware of what price she wanted and what her top line was so she wouldn't fall in love with any dresses outside of her price range. - They explained in details about the process and how long it would take to order, alter and be in her possession. My future DIL really pushed the time as it usually takes about 6 months according to the ladies but her wedding is in July so the timing was definitely tight. - They disinfect every dress after my future daughter-in-law tried it on. - They gave her a bottle of champagne to take home and celebrate. read more

So at only three months before my wedding I came into Aleana's completely stressed out and not knowing what to do. They were fabulous! They showed me sample dresses and it lucked out perfectly that they carry sample sizes in a 12 and I am an exact 12! I found the perfect dress, it had a tiny tear being a sample and they fixed it before I bought it! Their seamstress was superb and worked with me on getting the hem to be absolutely perfect! During my first visit I tried on only 3 dresses and fell in love with the one! The woman who helped me was so honest and gave me a great variety to try from and really listened to what I liked. The first thing you notice as you walk into Aleana's Bridal is the upscale atmosphere and beautiful decor. The store is both elegant and spacious. The fitting rooms are arranged in such a way as to provide privacy for simultaneous appointments. We brought a big crowd, 7 people in total, and were seated promptly and comfortably. The fitting room had two large mirrors and then a larger mirror in front of the private bridal podium. In some other stores brides share the platform and mirror to show case the dresses, we feel this takes away from the experience. My sister - a bride to be, described the wedding theme and what kind of dress she wanted. Our consultant was super honest, patient and helpful. She picked a few dresses and conducted the fitting in a very relaxed manner. We were all amazed with the selection and quality of the dresses. Every dress my sister tried could have been the one. Our consultant was knowledgeable about the dresses construction and was able to offer modification suggestions that stunned us. The experience could not have been better. In the end my sister was down to 2 dresses and needed to sleep on it. This was the most incredible experience my sister has had out of all the bridal shops we visited. This is the best bridal place in all of New Jersey, and New York- and I checked so many places before finally committing to Aleana's bridal. What instantly made me go back to this place and stay with them, is the owner, Lana. She is so passionate and so so great at what she does, these qualities are such a must in this industry. I described to Lana what I envisioned and she brought out several options. I fell in love with the very first dress i tried on, but of course I thought it's not possible to get it right on the first try. My sister had her appointment today. Her consultant Miki was absolutely amazing. She listened to my sisters initial likes and dislikes and pulled amazing dresses to give her more of an idea of what she was looking for (it was my sisters first time). My experience at Aleana's Bridal was incredible! I went with my Mom just to initially browse for dresses, and I never thought I would find my dream dress at our first stop. I truly do not think I would have gotten the attention to detail, level of service, and knowledge anywhere else. I am so thankful for the time Allison and the staff spent with us, educating us on dresses and providing their recommendations and keen insights. There was zero pressure to be rushed into buying something, and Allison spent the whole afternoon with us. I could not have done it without her and the team at Aleana's! Looking for dresses can sometimes be overwhelming, but I am so thankful that Allison made this such a stress-free and enjoyable experience. I honestly had so much fun. We had such a positive experience that we made an appointment the following week for my Mom, and she was able to find the most beautiful Mother of the Bride dress, again all thanks to Allison. My sister in law had a horrible experience here. The consultant put her in only two styles after she states that she didn't try any styles on before this. Then she proceeded to show her basically the same dress with only different patterns. The consultant kept only showing her dresses with a nude underlay after my SIL repeatedly said she is visual person and would love to see the dress with a white underlay. As we were on the last 5 mins of the appointment she finally put a white swatch under the lace... very disappointing especially since this was her first appointment and she was so excited to try on dresses! Our experience was over before it began. The consultant that our group was paired up with for bridal gown and bridesmaids dresses was inexperienced and borderline body shamed the bride. She had no knowledge of the styles she preferred and everything that was even remotely appealing was "not available for someone her size". She didn't even try to put it on and clip it. She continued to either pick dresses that were far too large or far too small. Pretty sure it was intentional. To add insult to injury the bride is a 12-14....which is by far not an odd size. No one wants to hear over and over about how your size isn't available to try on. I think this place needs a reality check! 1. You cannot stock your store with size 2 dresses and the opposite side of the spectrum at size 22. Body shaming your customers because you do not have sizes available is unacceptable! 2. You cannot pair your clients up with a consultant who is inexperienced and has no idea what basic bridal gown styles are! 3. Shampoo your carpet regularly! No one wants to smell feet while sitting in your establishment for hours. I am going to assume this store has a high rating because the owner apparently designs custom dresses? I am an atypical bride because the first wedding I will attend will be my own. I have never imagined my wedding until this point in my life, and key factors of the day (like the dress) stress me out because I simply do not know where to start with them. I traveled to four bridal salons in the Tri-State area in the span of two days, trying on dress after dress, and by the time I arrived at Aleana's Bridal, I was exhausted, frustrated, and overwhelmed. I felt as though I would never find a dress that would be expressive of my spirit while also residing in my price range. When we arrived at Aleana's, an unassuming second-floor shop by the highway, I didn't have any expectations because I had been so unsuccessful everywhere else. When I walked up the stairs and entered the shop, I was greeted with a warm, bustling energy: there were three women sweeping around the shop, tending to customers and making warm conversation with one another. It immediately felt different than any of the other shops I had been to, many of which had felt strangely cold and corporate. I was immediately paired up with Jamie, who told me she had studied fashion in college, and was clearly very passionate about not only the dresses themselves but the people wearing them. She handed me a tablet where I filled out a short questionnaire about my dress preferences (which I appreciated because I felt I could be more honest about my price range if I didn't have to verbalize it), and she immediately set about gathering dresses that she believed would suit both my preferences and my body type. I was hesitant about some of the selections on the hangers, but as soon as I started trying on dresses I dropped all pretense and began to trust Jamie outright. She has an excellent eye for style and had sharply taken my questionnaire into account, making sure to select items that were in my price range and included fabrics and beading I had mentioned I liked. I was shocked at how wonderful the variety of dresses looked, and we quickly began to narrow down options. When I hopped out of the dressing room in any gown that was particularly flattering, the other employees (and the other customers as well, sometimes!) briefly joined me to remark on the dress and what was special about it. All of the women were honest with me-- if there was a dress that didn't look great but was in the right ballpark, they would say so, and would pull another dress for me to try. They had encyclopedic knowledge of every dress in their store, and it sometimes felt like they were speaking another language! Needless to say, I felt I was being handled with care by experts in the field. After about a dozen dresses (and feeling like the time had positively flown by), I emerged from the dressing room, looked at myself in the mirror, and suddenly became very emotional. I knew, I absolutely knew, that I had just found my wedding dress. In moments, I was surrounded by the employees, who were all congratulating me with true warmth and happiness, who RAN behind the counter to order the dress as fast as they could, told me to call them whenever I had a question, and who hugged me goodbye on my way out the door that evening. I want to express how much my experience at Aleana's Bridal changed the way I was thinking about my wedding and myself as a bride. Choosing the dress was the first major decision I made aside from selecting my venue, and it finally made me feel like I would be celebrating my wedding instead of curating it. The ladies at the store treated me with so much patience and generosity, making me feel as though I deserved to be the center of attention for all the right reasons. I'm pregnant and her excellent approach made me so relaxed and very happy to finally hear someone can do a perfect wedding dress for me especially since I was 5 months pregnant on my wedding day ! I can't say enough positive things about my experience at Aleana's Bridal. I got married this past weekend and not only was the look that Svetlana created for me absolutely stunning from head to toe, but I had a wonderful experience during the entire process. I found Aleana's Bridal in an effort to expand my wedding dress search outside of the usual big bridal gown marts. The personal touch was immediately apparent, and it certainly helped that one of the first dresses I tried on was exactly what I had in mind. From there, Svetlana and her team custom-made the dress to fit me and also take into account the minor tweaks I had in mind - slightly lower in the back, ivory instead of pure white, etc. Not only that, but she made me a hair accessory to match the shoes I bought for my outfit and a lovely shoulder wrap since the wedding was in November. Everything fell into place just perfectly! Aside from the fact that I looked perfect - which would be enough on its own for any bride! - the dress-making process was a truly unique and personal one. You won't go wrong here!! So glad I found this place for my bridal gown and bridesmaids dresses. Lana and her team ensure you're taken care of throughout the entire process. Lana incorporated what I envisioned, her design expertise and assistance of her hard-working team, when putting together the perfect gown for me. She made sure everything was perfect and that I didn't stress throughout the process; even when I had gotten blood drops on my dress when trying it on before picking it up less than a week before the wedding!!! She kept me calm, closed her shop!!! and took care of it right away!! That alone was huge to me. My wedding was less than a week away. She really took care of ensuring the dress was cleaned and ready despite the last minute emergency. It really showed her dedication when closing her shop and getting the dress cleaned up in time. She also did a great job with my bridesmaids dresses as well. She really worked with them and took the stress off of me with all of that. After the wedding and before we left for our honeymoon I dropped off my dress to her. She sent it out to get cleaned and boxed while we were away. When I came back it was ready and looked great!!! This place is reviewed well on yelp which is why I made an appointment. Unfortunately once we arrived we had to wait for a dressing room even though we were right on time. The ladies who work there are not the most helpful. They had us picking off the racks and carrying to the dressing room myself. They did remove the items from the dressing room. Absolutely horrible customer service! Came here yesterday for a bridal appointment with the owner, Lana who made us wait 15 minutes and never ended up working with me while she was with another bride (who had already bought her dress.) Someone else ended up helping with dresses but told me she was "still learning" and basically rushed me out of my appointment and didn't offer many options or understand what I was looking for. At one point Lana brought a strapless dress over (which I told the lady helping me I didn't want any strapless styles), which Lana rolled her eyes at when she heard this. Very disappointed in this place and their lack of professionalism and customer service, but ended up finding my dress at a great place in Westwood right after called Susan Perrone Couture. read more

This place is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! I went to a bunch of other bridal stores, yet this one was a game changer and an easy choice after finding my perfect dress and with the amount of passion and patience given by the staff. I absolutely loved my experience with Jaime right away. She made me so comfortable and catered to my every request to finding the dress for me. She found the perfect dress for me and with the AMAZING help of Lana, and the seamstress Elena, my wedding dress and veil were PERFECT. I'm giving two stars because Lena did spend quite a while with me and my two bridesmaids during my appointment. However, I have to say that that time was not productive and I did not have a good experience. I was excited to try out the boutique as I was interested in a custom gown and heard she was talented in crafting them. I was having trouble finding a gown with a truly long royal train and came to Lena to see if she could make a dress for me. My budget was $4,000-$5,000. Not insane but a pretty significant budget considering all I really cared about was the train and I was planning on adding sparkle to my dress independently my separately purchased belt and jewelry. Lena spent majority of my appointment scoffing at my desire for a long train and focusing on limitations. She also had me try on 3-4 dresses from Jasmines Bridal, which I didn't like. She kept swaying me to just order a Jasmines Bridal dress, claiming some kind of exclusivity with the designer that "I work exclusively with them and they have a relationship with my shop." She whispered about me not liking any of the dresses to her colleague, which I loudly overheard. Her attitude was sort of "I know better, this suits you fine, who are you to want a long train?" She came off very condescending. Important to mention: at this point I knew a good deal about dresses and dress shopping as I had already been shopping for a couple months. I don't think she liked the fact that I had done my homework. I was very disappointed. It didn't seem like she cared very much for my vision or why I took the time to visit her store, especially when I came in showering her with compliments and excitement. If you look on YouTube, there is a recent video of one of clients whose dress is absolutely gorgeous and has a huge huge train. I thought Lana would be as accommodating to me as she was to this client, however that wasn't the case. My only thought is that maybe she wanted me to spend more money and my flimsy budget of $5,000 was too low. I normally don't write negative reviews because I feel like they can be knee jerk reactions or subjective. However, my appointment with Lena was this past summer, several months ago, and I still have a bad taste in my mouth from it. Friendly and helpful! The ladies at Aleana's were very patient as I had my sister try on 10-20 bridesmaid dresses. I didn't catch their names but we were there on a Tuesday from 11:30-1:00 and enjoyed their help and company. Unfortunately, we didn't hear back regarding matching the price of the designer "Dessy" so we ended up ordering direct through the designer. I feel bad doing that because the ladies are so nice, but it saved my bridesmaids $30+! read more

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Aleana's. Of all the details that go into planning a wedding, one of the most important purchases is the wedding dress. Picking the perfect dress was essential to me, knowing that for this one moment all eyes would be focused in my direction and I wanted to make sure I did all I could to find the perfect dress. My husband and I are so lucky to have found Aleana - her skill and dress selection made an unforgettable wedding day more perfect than I could have imagined. I had gone to a few stores prior Aleana's but once I stepped in her store we clicked instantly. She has so much experience and knowledge about how certain dresses would look in certain lighting, scenery and even on body types. That creativity and attention to detail allowed me to relax immediately. She's also a great seamstress and made sure everything fit perfectly. Aleana was patient, kind and always willing to fit me in for a quick meeting or phone call. Before picking my dresses (one for the ceremony and one for the reception), I must have gone in to try on her selections way too many times to count and each time she showed me great warmth and patience. The prices are also very reasonable. Like I said, we bought two absolutely stunning dresses from Aleana and didn't need to break the bank to do so. At the wedding all the guests couldn't decide which dress they liked more, which made me feel fantastic. Even 4 months later I can't tell you which one I liked more - they were both stunning! Her store is also quiet and personal - you don't feel like a number or rushed. This allowed me and my family to throw out different ideas with her regarding jewelry, the veil, etc. Aleana usually does have an opinion on anything you ask her but never does she push or act like you must follow her advice - she just wants her customers to be happy and I surely was and still am to this day. From the moment I walked into the boutique until the end of my wedding day, Lana was so supportive and helpful. The store is very clean and private. Each dressing room has a curtain and seating for guests. The way it is set up, you cannot see any other brides and they cannot see you. After having a less than ideal experience elsewhere, Lana came to the rescue. She was open, honest, and she truly understands weddings and bridal gowns. However, the best part about the store is the amazing owner and her fantastic seamstress. The owner Lana is incredibly knowledgable about dresses, styles and fits. She can help you find a dress that is perfect for your body and then work with the seamstress to ensure it is perfect. Lana is incredibly caring, thoughtful and accommodating. Lana supported me through the selection and fitting process, and the skilled seamstress was able to make significant changes to my dress to have it fit as I hoped.
