When we first moved in, our lives were very hectic and we had a small issue that was a big deal to me. I had to leave town the next day, but still I called them. I was upset and didn't know how it could be resolved while I was gone. They instantly came up with a solution and took care of it right away. They followed up right when they said they would and have been extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. I've only been in the office once, months ago, but I stopped in again recently to ask a question and they instantly said, "ah yes, for unit ..." I'm not sure if they really remember every tenant or if they have some system of identification when you enter the property, but I've been extremely impressed by the customer service and how well this place is run! It feels secure, friendly and clean. We are very happy we chose this location!

But the BIG plus is the staff. They are all very helpful. Jon was the one who helped me to check into my unit and he was fantastic. Not only was he knowledgeable, but he was super helpful and insightful to me. He went above and beyond to make sure I made a well informed decision and that I didn't rent more than I needed. He made the whole process great. Thank you Jon!

I needed a larger storage space immediately. I was under a lot of pressure and Steve made the move seamless and was calm anf organized through getting a larger space close to the smaller one, which helped me move my stuff easily and get through a tough situation. It's easy to get in and out of the locked facility. The entire place is kept very clean and orderly. I have been there over two years now, and i've never had a problem. Steve and Alamo Self Storage came highly recommended to me by my friend vicki, who's been there for many years and always been happy with their service and accommodations.

I googled RV storage near me and started going down the list. After calling seven or eight places I started to loose hope. Kathy was the person that answered the phone and was incredibly kind, happy and eager to help. All the necessary documents were handled via email and within 20 minutes of calling we had secured a spot. The storage facility was easy to access and get in and out of even with our gigantic rig. If we ever need RV storage again we will definitely return to Scripps Mesa Storage.

The upstairs is even clean. You move your stuff into the storage and of course it gets dusty I can understand that but the infestation of rats is over the top. It was completely unsanitary in my storage unit when I moved my stuff out. Not only that I had throw away so many memories because they were covered with rat poop. There was also evidence of termites throughout the unit. But to be honest termites and spiders and bugs were my least concern. Of all the storage units I've ever had in my life I have never had a problems with rats. I do not have any food or anything that would attract them to my stuff. I didn't even want to get into my car after touching all my stuff that was just covered in this nasty stuff. A shower was the only thing I could think of. Unfortunately I would definitely not recommend this place unless you don't care about your items and don't care about rat poop all over your stuff. I would also say The lady that helps me when I came to move out was not very informative. Renting a U-Haul has never been such a pain. You usually walk in get the keys walk out check the truck and you're on the way. It took over an hour for this process. Do not rent a U-Haul from them. So after this long process I go to my storage unit to find it full of rat poop let me tell you moving out was not a fun thing. Also they don't have an elevator. I definitely give this place two thumbs down and I hope I don't get any diseases from touching and breathing in that toxic air. I should have taken photos, But I didn't even want to touch my phone. I hope the stuff that I did keep doesn't get me sick as well.
