There was oil on the ground and instead of asking me to clean it up like I have done for myself and others in the past. They took how I did it which is put kitty litter down and rubbed it in , took that knowledge which before they power washed it and we all know that's not a good thing for the environment then charged my girlfriend 50 for a convince fee. It cost 1 for kitty litter at the 99 cent store . They also charged another tenant 50 dollars for spilling A soda which she cleaned up . They are charging money because they're doing shady stuff that will be looked into . They also are very rude and need to be knocked down a notch or two. Customer service is no good there except for the maintenance guy he is cool . My girlfriend also cut her hand on the power washer and had to get stitches and they had no time to look into it at all did not even show a concern about it. read more

I love the access hours and the fact that they are open everyday...no matter the holiday. I wish more places were like this. This is the best storage unit I've ever rented from. Unlike other competitors, this one is modern, clean and professional. There are security cameras everywhere, electronic security locks to access individual buildings as well as air-conditioning. They sell packing and moving supplies!! They also rent Moving Trucks. It is very clean and secure with gates, fencing and cameras, with keypad entry. I have referred this place to people because the value for what you get at Rockvill is so much better than any other place Ihave been and the rates are competitive. John the "manager" is a complete jerk to put it nicely. He talks to his customers like garbage as well as his co workers. So we made a mistake and it wasn't on purpose and we apologized many times. John had no right speaking down to us. We left a couple minutes after the closing time. He may think he has all the power but it's simply "short man syndrome"! They were a nice place to rent from then a year later all the drugs/homeless moved in and trashed it in the sense of rigging the gates to were they could get in after hours. We moved out and told Raymond we were and yet John sent us a notice of past due fees, because Raymond didn't do his job and put that in the system. So I'm sure they'll try and collect a fee. I'll report them so I'm not worried but it's all a power trip for the short guy John. Just don't piss John off cause all those good reviews that are most likely fake will all turn into negative reviews. John I had a unit as well as my partner M. Tula we shared the storages. You also didn't close out our account when we told Raymond we were all moved out. You need to go to a training class how you treat and speak to people, especially because you are in the customer service department. You made it worse than what it was. People make mistakes and it only happened once which we took responsibility of and paid for it. You talk to people like garbage when you have nothing but short man syndrome. You feel mighty when you speak down to people but you lost 2 customers. Soon 2 more that is my family that rent from you. The owners might wanna wake up and get you out of there. Raymond knows how to talk to people and how to resolve problems without being a jerk. read more

This place is different. On my first visit, the front desk staff was excellent; they answered all my questions. I rented a climate control storage unit on the spot. Been using the storage facility for a couple years now. They've gone through a lot of changes as far as adding additional buildings. Prices are reasonable but more importantly, the facility feels very secure. I've never had any problems unlike some of the other storage facilities in East County. You can get in facility pretty early in the morning. And it's up until about 845 at night to get any thing you might need to get. They have a dump station for RVs, and a power wash would recommend for anybody looking for storage needs in East County. read more

I love the location, the discounted cost of 50% off the first 3 months, the rent after that is great, too. The gate hours are perfect. Although we have until 9:00 PM, I unfortunately, was there after 10:00 PM one night trying to get everything to fit in a newly downsized 5x5. Neither gate would let me out so I called someone to pick me up, parked my car there overnight and nobody made a big deal about it ever. The site is nice and so is John. Very helpful, well-managed and maintained. My storage is indoors. It is climate controlled. Your furnishings and possessions don't dry out from East County Hot. It is secure, clean and well-lit. I would only like to see more carts available on each floor rather than have to scout 3 floors to locate one. When you're in a hurry, an available cart keeps things moving. 24 hr access would be a plus since I have musical equipment and have to bring it home first then take it to storage the next day. Over all, I recommend Rockvill. And they offer reward for review which makes my time well-spent! read more
