Not sure what the bad review is all about. When I look to store things safely, I don't need a red carpet. The managers live on site, 24 hour security, code gated access and very competetive pricing. You will not ever find a safer spot to keep your things in East County. I'd rather be able to relax about my things not getting stolen than have to be swept off my feet by employees. read more

My family and I rented a storage unit over the weekend and after I paid upfront for the month Larry the weekend J@ck A$$ in charge of whatever was so disrespectful and bitter over my vehicle placement and how I was moving my boxed items. The 30 day prepaid trial contract could not come any faster. read more

I really don't understand the bad reviews on the site. I have rented here for over 10 years. I think Larry and Caroline are the bomb. When I run into them and other places they know me by name and talk to me. I've never had a problem with them and I don't understand why other people would. read more

OK, I don't know what the other person was on when they put their review with a "1star" because I have had nothing but a pleasant experience at this storage facility. First off, the live in attendants are awesome! They are super nice, personable and will try and help accommodate you as much as they can. The facility is VERY clean and safe. I have had my belongings out in Lock and Hold Storage for several years and all I can say is how Great this place is!!! I feel very secure leaving my belongings here knowing the managers live on site & they have security gates & security cameras. My boyfriend Mike has been storing stuff here for a few months, and he loves the place! He has an inside 10x10 unit and It not only is the front gate covered in barbed-wire, but it also has a side door with a keyed lock. So you have to go through the front gate, then the locked side door, then unlock your actual unit door as well. SUPER SECURE! Larry is a little firm at times, but it's his JOB! He doesn't like people hanging around the place without reason or parking in places they're not supposed to. It hard to maneuver in those tight aisles when people park like idiots to unload their own stuff with no respect for other tenants trying to do the same. Mike works a couple doors down from Lock and Hold and is in there almost daily to pickup and drop off all the tools he cycles through for work and he never has ANY problems whatsoever. He actually enjoys going into the office to converse with Larry and Paige and steal a piece or two of their candy. Very clean facility and bathroom, friendly staff, great prices, and SUPER SECURE. I called to get information before going out to see Lock & Hold Storage. The manager could not have been more informative and helpful. I scheduled a time to go out and see the facility as safety and cleanliness of the facility was important to me. I was greeted by Larry who was also courteous and helpful. He showed be the layout of the storage units and helped me select one that would meet my needs and would be easily accessible. I was set and the paperwork completed quickly. When my children moved my items into my unit both Carolyn and Larry greeted them and offered to answer any questions they might have. The price was right, the managers helpful and my items are safe and secure. I'm free to travel without concerns about my possessions. read more
