One of our mutual friends found Postal Annex online and spoke to Ali and May to help figure out how to make this happen. She told me how they went above and beyond any level of customer service I have ever heard of from a shipper (and I work at an auction house in NY so I have vast experience with shippers!!) They not only came to his unit with boxes so he didn't have to bring everything to their location but they were incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. Communication was easy and they really made the entire transaction completely seamless. The price was very fair. I just want to emphasize the fact that not only did they do a stellar job with the pickup and the customer service, but these owners were kind and helpful to a degree that is rarely seen in businesses these days. The situation was a challenging one and they offered solutions, compassionate advice and were just lovely in every way. It is one thing to be super helpful and generous with someone you are assisting in person but in this situation, all of the transactions were over the phone with someone out of state (except the pick-up, of course). Despite this, the level of patience and helpfulness and care was outstanding. Thank you for making this difficult situation so much less challenging. I wish I could leave more stars!!

The actual move day was an absolute disaster: Unannounced & Fraudulent Charges: They hit us with thousands in undisclosed "Double Drive Time" and transit labor fees. The crew spent nearly 4 hours stuck in traffic and pulled over by law enforcement, and they billed us for all of it. Operations Coordinator LJ admitted on a recorded line that these travel fees were omitted from our initial disclosures, yet management refused to fix the bill. Post-Move Portal Editing: Once we raised a dispute, the company retroactively edited their dynamic online portal to add "Double Drive Time" language that wasn't there when we signed. Unfinished Job & Abandoned Belongings: The crew walked off the job, leaving our children's cribs incorrectly put together in the wrong rooms, recliner chairs unfinished, and our Murphy bed in pieces on the floor. No-Showed After Promising a Fix: They gave us a written promise to return on Friday at 2:00 PM to finish assembling our furniture, then completely ghosted us, leaving us without beds for our young kids over the weekend. Save yourself the stress and financial headache. Do not hire this company.

First of all I want to express how thankful I am for The Rock Movers…read more Being a full-service moving company, I needed someone to help me pack AND move due to a recent injury crippling me right before I was scheduled to move. Their reliability and ease of setting up the packing and move when I was not even able to be present and the timing was truly helpful. It was more expensive than I had ever paid for movers, even without the packing, and that's honestly why I could not give them full 5 stars. As a military member going through an honorable discharge to help my family in crisis while already injured myself, I had to empty out my own savings and my children's I had saved up over a 9-month deployment in the combat zone to move back to my family when they needed my help, not even sure if I could then provide for them. So while I really thank them for the job they did, I never financially recovered from that and I do ask Rock Movers to consider the vets or military members in San Diego and to complete a weight estimate for them to be reimbursed.

It took them 7 hours to move everything. I went with this company because a friend had a great experience, the company completely packed everything for them and moved everything. They paid around the same amount I paid even though I had packed everything myself and the movers had less work to do. Also 2 of the movers wanted to know if I rented or owned the home and how much we paid monthly for the place. I found this very unprofessional and don't understand why they needed to know these things. It seems since they are paid hourly they want to take advantage of the situation.
