Had similar experience as another review. I had everything packed up in boxes ready to move. The only things the movers needed to take apart were 3 beds, desk, dining table, unmount a TV and entertainment center. Kitchen appliances and laundry appliances did not need to be moved. It took them 7 hours to move everything. I went with this company because a friend had a great experience, the company completely packed everything for them and moved everything. They paid around the same amount I paid even though I had packed everything myself and the movers had less work to do. Also 2 of the movers wanted to know if I rented or owned the home and how much we paid monthly for the place. I found this very unprofessional and don't understand why they needed to know these things. It seems since they are paid hourly they want to take advantage of the situation. read more

Sam and Ali did an amazing job. They called to give me an approximate arrival time and the time was exactly within the estimated time window from our reservation. The two gentlemen walked the entire apartment and made sure which items were staying and which were being moved. Sam went over the terms once more and then they began loading the truck. All of my belongings were well handled and they both worked quickly as this job pays by the hour. Both gentlemen walked around to double check all items needing to be moved were taken. Upon arrival to the destination the two gentlemen unloaded the truck and asked which rooms the boxes went in and they did an amazing job. Great communication, polite, and very respectful. Excellent movers! Space Moving was recommended to me by a friend in San Diego. They moved my 2 BR apartment from Tustin CA to North Park with one stop at a storage facility on the way. They were so fast. It took way less time than I had planned for. The gentlemen who moved my things were efficient, paid attention to detail, and handled all of my items with care. We will be moving again later on this year and plan to use them again! We got many quotes from moving companies in the area and space moving was more affordable and the service was great. Space and Moving Company San Diego did our move May 6-7, 2026. As a result, they dented my $2,200 refrigerator and denied responsibility. They credited us $100 for the damage, but the replacement door alone costs $1,700. Fortunately, I have extensive photos documenting before and the subsequent damage, including the damaged cellophane. They also broke or lost the glass shelves from my china cabinet, failed to leave the tiles for our firepit table, and when the tiles were mailed back, they were packaged so poorly that the box was damaged and one of the six tiles was broken. In addition, they gouged and scraped my tall wood table. The movers left water on the floors and countertops in the bathrooms at both locations, as well as leaving the seats up with urine on the toilet bowl and floor. This was especially disrespectful because they knew we were preparing to sell the home since they were just moving the "staged" property. After delivery, they team attempted to leave without completing the furniture setup, even though our box spring for the second bed, as well as the washer and dryer were not even loaded onto the truck. We had to fly back to San Diego a week later, rent another truck, and transport the remaining property ourselves, hiring more people to load and unload. They also left our Sleep Number mattress folded over and stuck to itself because the magnets had engaged, even though your movers folded the mattress during pack-out. They also damaged the carpet in the house we were selling. Communication with Andrew has produced little more than lip service. While he did arrange for the firepit tiles to be returned, they arrived broken. If Space Movers had made any effort to reimburse us for the damage, this review might have been different. However, after a month and a half, the only compensation we have received is the $100 credit for the refrigerator damage on delivery day. We tipped the crew more than that at both ends of the move because of the heat, a decision we regret. Additionally, the post-move invoice shows "no tips" and appears to include that money in the overall price, which raises serious legal and tax concerns. After 29 years as a federal agent, I intend to ensure this information reaches the appropriate parties. What a horrible experience, and if I could give zero stars, I would. This was the worst move of my life, and I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

I was able to schedule them very last minute to move from one storage unit to another. Maria was very helpful in booking. The move required their truck because the units were not next to each other on the property. They were fast and careful and they were able to rebuild the storage shelves in the new unit. It cost a little more than quoted, but that's because it was more stuff than I had realized. It was a good deal overall and I was grateful they had time to stay longer to finish the job. Update on my previous review... After numerous attempts calling the company and sending emails repeatedly to their "support" email address I had finally reached someone a week ago. The woman I had spoke to Alina offered me $150 for all the damages the company had caused and asked to remove my Yelp review. I said no to the offer, and she said that she would speak to the owner and get back to me. And of course nothing... Again, I called once and sent out 2 more emails.. finally I received a call from Andrey, the owner, today. His response to the situation was that it was my word against theirs in what damages were made and how the situation went down. He then basically offered me either $150-300 to take down my Yelp review (completelyunethical), or to pay them a $400 back charge for a heavy item fee he previously never charged me for, then maybe he would submit a claim for only some of my property. I do not recommend this company at all. My move started at 12 and did not end until almost after midnight. For as expensive as they are they are not worth it you will have the WORST experience. They break laws. Space moving sends mass email with email addresses included in the CC to everyone else they have done business with without the opportunity to opt out of these emails. They infringe upon your privacy and this leads to having to get a new email because people that were attached to that email try to hack your computer by taking clones of it. So glad that I have enough technical experience to know what's going on and understand how bad this company is. Their bad practices just keep piling up. If anyone else got this email they should file a lawsuit and complaint! It was bad enough that my experience was that we pre-arranged a discount and they refused to give it to me. Then they gave themselves a $150 tip a small move without my permission. And their team was so unprofessional. Things went missing and it is impossible to claim insurance with them. read more

Im getting contact attempts from different representatives in different areas of california via call and texts from 8am to 6pm daily. Despite saying no, stop, don't, the contact attempts continue. I receive a daily email. Despite emailing Stop to one of the first emails received, I still receive them daily on a drip campaign; offering coupons, creative urgency pushes, etc. I'll choose a more personalized experience with a local mover that is truly local, understands their audience, and wants to do good business. read more

Absolutely terrible experience. Moved from a 1 bedroom apartment and it took them nearly 6 hours to move things where things had been packed and wrapped. Due to the drawn out time it was taking, we had helped move some boxes and pieces down to the truck to avoid being charged extra hours. There appeared to only be one guy actively moving (other remained in truck). The one that was actively moving things was also frequently on the phone and running into things with the dolly, leaving marks around our new home. They did not use a blanket to cover all of our furniture (unclear if they ran out??) Upon moving in, we noticed many pieces of our wood furniture had massive chips and carvings one of it. When we tried to take the appropriate steps to address it, we were told that because we moved some pieces of furniture down that they could not determine if it was from us or them so we would not be compensated (keeping in mind this is very clearly from being thrown loosely in a truck). I was told they offered a military discount and it would be applied at the end, but they later stated only be able to provide half of that discount due to the way it was booked (not disclosed to me until time of payment). When trying to discuss this with the office, they told us that they would not be able to proceed with any claims because I refused to use their packing supplies (not true, I just had my own available) and because we helped move boxes that we only did because they were taking an excessive amount of time. I am not one to leave reviews, positive or negative but this was truly a horrible experience and I wanted to share it. Would recommend a different moving company. read more

First of all they arrived almost 2 hours late, was quoted 99 a hour for 7 hours work truck fee was 50 so 750 100 deposit was made, so it should have been 650, oh no it was 780 and the movers tried to tack on 200 more for a tip turns out, the quote was for a cash price which wasn't mentioned owner said it was in the contract , all we signed was a page stating what happens if they break something. The guys from Space Movers were great. Got my 16 ft container unloaded in 2 hours, taking special care with the many, many paintings I had stored. They also moved the two very heavy flat file wood cabinet & map case with no damage and a lot of effort. They were very efficient, courteous and I felt I received excellent treatment and good value. Definitely not a company I would recommend to anyone. Their pricing is low balled upfront with a $100 deposit, then upon delivery they add hidden fees. Their "contract" is done on the drivers cell phone, so you can't see it or read it. They used my boxes and furniture to prop open doors and the elevator, it looked like a trail from Hansel and Gretel. I received comments/complaints from my neighbors and previous apartment complex. They had never seen such sloppy moving tactics. They took breaks and then charged me for extra time. One bedroom apartment with one queen bed, small dresser, night stand, large ottoman, a bicycle and 31 boxes. It took them over four hours! The language barrier added to the confusion at the end when asking about the price going from $400 to $800! Very convenient. read more
