Charles is the Man! His professionalism & personality (laughing & smiling) combined made me feel so comfortable in the choice I made. He was very informative, patient, & honest. He even Toured me on this golf cart & showed me options of choices to choose from for the great pricing options! He also let me know that they set aside a broom w/dustpan if we need to clean anything as a courtesy. He let me know if I needed any moving supplies too for quick convenience! I rented a space at Super storage for almost 2 years..... if you need a place for your stuff, go talk to Charles, he is the absolute best.....great customer service, good sense of humor, overall it's a great storage place..... if I ever need a storage again....I will be calling Charles.... I had to get a storage unit last minute and this place was super easy and great to deal with. Charles, (very large man) is the onsite manager is on top of it! I have had storage units at other locations and this place is way better priced and has a MUCH BETTER vibe. Stored my RV there for a few months Charles was always there super friendly and helpful .

When Superstorage bought out the independent owner they immediately raised the rates. They stated it was due to; A. It was below market, and B They needed the money to do improvements. I was OK with that the place was run down and was very cheap. Very shortly after they took over the light went out in my unit. They said they would get right on it. I'll get back to that later. Then we had a huge rain storm. I had printed materials in my unit, as a precaution I had the boxes on 1/2" wooden slats. My unit was also an interior unit. Well, it flooded and destroyed product. I put in a claim that was never addressed by the owner. Only after much prodding did Charles finally say, "they aren't going to do anything about it, sorry" Maybe I needed to buy extra insurance, however the lack of communication and lack of care was alarming. Back to the light, my request that the light be fixed was ignored for well over a year. Again, after much prodding and "What the heck is going on". Charles finally admitted that they didn't know how to fix it because the previous owners drug addict son ripped out all the copper wiring to the building and there is nothing they could or would do about fixing it. At this point the lack of communication and lack of care about a customer that had been renting for YEARS with out being late ever on the rent surpassed my patience. I wrote to the owner directly. His response basically spoke about his needs for more money for renovations and there was nothing is was willing to do for me. I'm talking about freezing the rent for a time or a very small reduction in rent for the inconvenience of not having a light. By the way within the year they had raised the rent twice and were talking about another raise. I stayed way too long and put up with an owner who insulates himself from any issues and puts Charles on the firing line. I'm sure Charles doesn't get paid enough to deal with it. My advise is to find another storage place at all costs. If you have an issue here you will be ignored and not treated fairly. The below response correct. There are always two sides to every story, however I must respond to at least two of his points "This is a clear violation of the terms of use for Yelp, as he is using the platform to retaliate at a minimum and possibly to extort monies from us." I run 3 businesses for over 20 years. I deal with customer complaints from his perspective all the time. I was so offended and felt it was handled so poorly that I was compelled to write my first ever Yelp review. I was under the impression that review sites were to speak your opinion of the level of customer service and your experience. The bad taste in my mouth over this company isn't a knee jerk review, it has been over a year. If relaying your bad experience is a violation of the terms of Yelp then this review site is worthless. Trying to "extort monies from us". That line alone tells you all the you need to know about this companies attitude towards their customers. My entire point of this review is; I had a horrible experience with this company, and I recommend anyone to look elsewhere. read more
