The person who helped me her name is Melissa she is super nice and welcoming, she helped me super fast and efficient. When it was time to see the storage I was getting it wasn't just dead silence she was talking to me the whole time and I'm a really anxious person so I felt really secure. She also explained everything really well, usually I'm still super confused but with her that was not the case 10/10 definitely recommend read more

don't let the tidy facilities fool you someone has to pay for it and that would be you the customer as your rental fees seem to increase every other month The staff has never been pleasant they are down right rude. And if you are someone that needs to access your things you better have it done by 9:00 or your locked in And will be charged an unreasonable fee They have also accessed my unit without permission. So decide for yourself I'm just giving my own personal opinion. There are better options read more

Where to begin...lol. I'll keep it short and simple seeing as most my reviews are extensive. They up the price considerably and quite often. They change their fees without any warning, some months one of the fees is $5 the next it's $9... No warning when raising prices. At least extra S does warn you. All these storage places have no laws governing them so they do what they want. Plus I've had some months where they say I "have to go in to pay" Plus the gate code doesn't always work (and of course it's after hours and I can't get in Pretty crazy if you ask me. read more

Never ever a problem with this company. I am so pleased with the service and the cleanliness of this storage facility. They have been very tolerant of me sending reminders when my bill comes due. Very friendly people and very attentive with their customer service! Thank you so much I really appreciate you guys It has been a long I think almost 8 years! When it was time for me to empty out the unit they had the paperwork ready for me to quickly sign and complete the process. Thanks again A1! read more

Extremely clean facility, spacious and very good customer service. We called in advance to get a quote, it was fast and simple, no hassle. I called other storage units and they just wanted to gather all my information and give me no quote. We arrived a few days later they honored the quote, gave us a tour and very kind! Love it read more

THE RATE INCREASES EVERY 9 months $25 after the 1 year contract is over In my opinion that's ridiculous and taking advantage of people in a difficult financial time as such The staff I are always so nice and patient The units themselves are made of wood so it's definitely a fire hazard and the access isn't drive up it's quite a walk from the "elevator" / stairs to the units It's unfortunate to have such obscene policies for a mediocre facility read more

This site is particularly clean, safe, well maintained, and well managed. Monique and Levon in the front office are professional, courteous, and most of all, friendly. Any dealings I've had with them are always positive, no matter the circumstances. Their rates are on par, if not better than most other sites I've visited. I've been at this site for about 5 years, and the staff have always been so very helpful with any and all of my needs. read more

Amazing service. Great customer service. I will always refer them. Very easy to deal with

I stopped in at theA-1 Self Storage on Magnolia(N. El Cajon) to do some price comparisons. Although their prices were just about the same as others I've shopped for, Grace, who help me with my questions, was very well informed of their inventory. The size/location of my unit needs was currently unavailable.(A popular place for storage needs). I will check back with them monthly to see if the unit I need becomes available. Thank you, Shawn, for the free boxes. You've made my storage needs much easier. read more
