While I appreciate that business values long standing employees, I feel management should be more attentive to how certain conduct reflects on the company. One of the staff members, an older lady with glasses who has been here for more than 11years, shows behavior and associations outside of work that raise concerns about professionalism and could affect the business's reputation. Most often when I visit the office to speak with her, she always seems very scatterbrained and all over the place, which does not come across as professional or organized. In addition, the front gate is often not open on weekends even though posted hours state it should be, which is frustrating. These things are worth reviewing to maintain a safe, trustworthy, and professional environment. read more

We have stored our trailer here for over 2 years. Paid on time and never had any issues. On the 1 st of March I called to see what we needed to do for move out. I was told just to be sure to stop in the office after pulling out of our spot. Great! I asked about receiving a check/reimbursement for the remainder of the month. Her reply was sorry we only do that until the 15th not after. Cool it's the 17th. I wish that info would have been relayed when I called on the 1st. So if you rent here be aware of this so you only pay for the days you use. I left feeling bamboozled. Oh well I guess that's how businesses are now. read more

Great place, this is the 4th time that stored stuff here. Ramona Self Storage is my go to storage place. Love them.

So I bought a storage unit through auction from this company. BEWARE.. false advertisement. This is business false advertising what is in units you purchase, the manager is responsible for taking pictures as well as leaving a description of what was in unit. (The mangers brother says he has a vision problem) So we purchased a unit that was said to have some locked boxes, NONE of them were locked. They were all cut across and made to appear locked. It's very scary when thinking it could possibly be a scam the company employs to have you bid higher on their units. Granted this is all online false descriptions. It was more than obvious this unit was ran sacked by employees. Or maybe another tenant. I am extremely disappointed in the overall customer service and support as there was none. We asked for mangers contact info and was given nothing.. other than a name. No one who can call any shots nor make decisions is onsite. I hope this review helps this facility really take a look at the bigger picture. Someone on the outside is going inside.. where they do not belong. False advertisement is a crime. read more

I have been renting there for about 2 years. My unit was broken into this week and I lost THOUSANDS of dollars worth of musical equipment. I was told I am S.O.L., because they don't have insurance. Great! I would have had the same luck if I left it all in my front yard. I recommend you look for an MUCH more secure facility. How they managed to get several large heavy pieces of equipment out AFTER HOURS, when the gates don't open, and there is supposed to be NO ACCESS is a real puzzle. Best self storage experience ever! Over the past 6 years I've utilized storage facilities while moving and to store items. Not only is this faculty modern and clean with super friendly and helpful staff, it's very reasonably priced. Plus They don't lock you into buying loads of insurance or long term commitments which was my unfortunate experience at two other storage companies in San Diego. I realize that this is a family run operation for the most part, but sorry to tell you..... Joey has absolutely no people skills. He's got to be one of the rudest I've dealt with at any establishment in the last 5 yrs. I don't understand why he is so angry. I've seen him treat one of his coworkers like dirt. He was trying to make her look stupid but he was the stupid one. I felt so bad for her and she took it like a champ. But it does not make it ok to treat anyone like that! Staff is nice and the place is in-tact and clean. However, I met the owner today. He interrupted me while I was minding my own business, and out-loud berated me as if I was some random "asshole walking by" (that's the term he used). Really pious acting, which was surprising given his McDonald's physique. Currently looking for another unit. read more

Wouldn't honor their online 3 month special. Was told they're talking it down. I said but it's up now. Was still refused. I'm handicap in a wheelchair. Was told have to pay more for ground unit no elevators and handicap doesn't matter. They let me walk out without even trying to find a solution. Alamo here I come! read more
