Facility is clean, the management is friendly and went above and beyond to find a unit that suited my needs. I am more of a visual person so I needed to see a few units in person to gage how big of a unit I needed. What I liked was that there was no hard upselling here to get me a bigger unit. There was no hard upsell to try and encourage me to rent more space than I needed, and the rates were competitive/lower than other storage facilities I found! Especially once I factored in the buy 2 months, get a 3rd free. I like that they have an outdoor dog kennel too, so I can bring my dog along for the ride and they can get some fresh air while I load/unload. Prices on locks were more than reasonable, and it saved me a trip to the store to buy one and it was about the same price on Amazon. I was able to buy some packing tape too when I ran out. I got a discount too since I paid for 2 months up front. I got the 3rd month free. read more

This facility is under new management. Ann works hard with the new management company and clients. Her and her husband are professional and knowledgeable. Yeah sure there are always changes, but they work with you. It sounds like some people don't know how storage facilities "bill." It's very common if you get into the next month on any rental apartment, storage, they'll charge you for the next month. Wouldn't you if it was your company? "Would not go anywhere else. I have had several units here and at other facilities. This is absolutely the best storage place around. They are cost effective, knowledgeable, friendly, professional and family oriented. Real help from real professionals. I recommend them to everyone and will NEVER go ANYWHERE else. This is the ONLY PLACE for me. I reserved a storage unit on 5/16/2021 to move in on 5/20/2021. I received my confirmation number with instructions on what I needed to do and what to bring with me on 5/20/2021 when I pay for my storage. Nick even called and left me a message on what to bring with me when I move in. On 5/18/2021 I called snd talked to the manager about me moving in on 5/20/2021 and was told that they rented my reserved storage unit to someone else who came in before me with cash to rent a storage so they rented my reserved storage unit out and left me with NO UNIT after reserving it. That is bad business ethics! I am going to be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. read more

Called Rachel that afternoon! Over the phone well spoken with detail about the facilities with prices and availability. I was interested in a 5×10 unstairs storage. After looking at the access walking up 19 stairs. I felt like I was out of luck. That's when Rachel went to work! An, showed me two other storages. I ended up with a 6X8X10 down stairs storage. Month to month lease. Storage locks available for $11 dollars which was convenient. Or you can use your own! Which was cool. No need to buy from them. If, your trying to save cash! This is the worst storage in el cajon. The staff is horendous, the units are infested with lizards and spiders, and its falling apart. I went to ask if the attendant would open my unit so i could go in and she came out screaming at me saying "let me walk out here with my 9 month pregnant a** because you are too f***ing lazy to get out of your car. what do you want?!" I asked to speak with her supervisor and when the supervisor came down she said "that girl is pregnant you can't complain about her" and went back up stairs. I was so upset that I moved all of my stuff to another storage facility that same day. I recommend no one go here ever! read more

I have been a customer for over six years, never had any problems with communication. The area is always clean and well-kept. They're always doing maintenance on the units to keep them top-notch. Yes sometimes there's people wandering through that don't belong however staff is immediately on it, asking people who don't belong there to leave. Never had any problems with my unit being broken into, security cameras are everywhere and staff is constantly monitoring the cameras. If there's ever any questions, you just go in the office or approach them outside and they can play back any of the cameras to view your unit. Rachael is extremely helpful, always willing to go out above and beyond. Would highly recommend storing your items here. read more

I've been a customer for about 4 years and they've always been nice when I need something and they have a payment portal on the internet where I pay for my storage unit and can set up monthly payments in case I don't want to manually do it each month. The alleys that the lockers are in are clean and the facility is in a low traffic area. It's loaded with cameras too and lit up at night (you can see the facility when you're getting off Johnson Ave in El Cajon. I don't know if it's typical but my space is 10x10 and has a 10 foot ceiling - a lot of the places I looked at didn't have a high ceiling. read more
