What can I say that hasn't already been said?! The most AWESOME storage facility I have ever dealt with. Having been in and/or associated with the military for the past 40+ years, I've moved many times and dealt with many facilities and this is BY FAR the very BEST! Professional, competent, courteous staff who go way above and beyond to help customers in every way possible. The facility is safe, ultra-clean, pest and rodent controlled, a comfortable temperature maintained, excellent security features, extended access hours, and has moving carts & aids for on and off loading. They even carry a few supplies so you can purchase an extra roll of tape or mattress cover or other little necessity when the need arises so you don't have to make that extra trip to the store. We initially planned to store our excess household items for a couple of months while sorting and downsize but have been so pleased with this storage facility and the management & staff that we've been there 3 years and even extended to a 2nd unit to use just for sorting. Whether you're storing items between moves, need extra space for those holiday or "extra" items that take up space at home or in your garage, or whatever your reasons........ This is my second time renting a unit from Valley Rose Self Storage and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Mary and the rest of the staff are extremely nice and very helpful. There wasn't a unit available when I first called, but the staff was on top of it and called me the moment that they had something open up. This facility is super clean and there is always plenty of dollies/carts/etc available at the door for help moving your items into the unit. I also like the fact that it is completely temperature controlled, so there is never any warping of the wood and vinyl items that we have stored there. I even stored a box of vinyl records here and they were in pristine condition after over a year of being in the unit. This is hands down the best storage facility in Escondido for a number of reasons: 1) The building is newer and not falling apart like most in the area. 2) It's always clean! Always smells fresh! 3) Everyone is so nice and friendly. 4) Everyone is organized 5) They are kind enough to call and remind you of your payment being due rather than just fining you and locking you out like chain operated storage units. 6)It's a secured storage facility 7) Everyone really takes the time to get to know you I can honestly say out of all of the storage units I have rented throughout San Diego and Orange County, Valley Rose has been my favorite. I work with an outstanding group of women who hold a large, yearly event to raise funds for Rady Children's Hospital. We recently moved our storage space to Valley Rose and are incredibly pleased with it. It is clean, well-lit, well attended, and, most importantly, we feel safe going there alone. It also has amenities of a safe, clean bathroom, complimentary bottled water, and a large variety of supplies reasonably priced. The temperature is comfortable even in summer, and we love Mary's spirit in the decor and additional seasonal fun decorations. We had none of this at our previous storage facility, and paid the same price. In addition, when we needed an additional space for short-term storage prior to our event, Mary moved mountains to accommodate us. We are delighted! read more

When i first started looking for storage's we came here first and didn't bother too look elsewhere. The staff has always been very friendly and courteous not to mention they always keep the place clean and secure. My kids and I love the decorating during the different holidays that to me helps separate this facility from other corporate types. They held their promises from day one and have honor everything they advertise from day one. I was expecting to have a unit for a few months and because of the excellent service and quality i have received i am happy to say i have kept my storage for years and years and plan to continue. The cleanest and most secure storage facility in California. I have been thru many up and down the coast, this is by far the best. The rates are reasonable, perhaps not the cheapest; but you do not want the cheapest protecting you valuable property. The moment you enter the property you are on camera and will be so with their security. I like knowing what is mine is going to be there when I come for it. They are definitely far cheaper that most in the state and many in the city. The staff is the friendliest I have ever found. I was a little hesitant to put my belongings into storage while we were moving, but we didn't have much choice. After doing a little research and reading reviews I decided to go over to Valley Rose. I was greeted by Mary and she immediately put me at ease, she explained to me how the the access codes work, gave me a tour and explained the security measures that they take after hours. We moved our belongings in that evening. We have been really happy with this facility, the prices are reasonable, the the place is always clean, the people that work here are so nice and I feel safe when I visit. read more

When I first walked in, I was greeted warmly and politely, I was given a tour of the facility more like I was family than just another business partner. The neat back story of the owners yearly trip to New Orleans really sold it for me; especially the fact that they include something personal of theirs. Every time I walk in to grab something, or put something else into storage, I'm greeted with a smile and a hello. After looking around Escondido for self storage, Valley Rose was the least expensive per square foot, staffed with friendly and helpful associates, and most importantly the facility has indoor storage which is CLEAN and super secure. Hours are perfect. Never have a problem accessing the unit. A few bugs with the online payment system, but other than that I couldn't ask for a better place to store my extra stuff. No price increases either! If you need storage go here...you won't be disappointed. read more

Great place to store your extra stuff. Clean facility with friendly helpful staff. It's not air conditioned per se' - they call it temperature controlled and it works. I've been there on the hottest days of the summer and the temp inside is significantly cooler than outside. Gates and codes always work. After several years of storage I haven't noticed an appreciable amount of dust accumulating on my stored items. The hallways always smell like some sort of pine cleaner, which is nice. read more

We have been at Valley Rose Storage now going on a year. They are the nicest people especially for last minute when i was getting deployed to Afghanistan they helped us out gave us a great rate. The level of security in this place is top of the line there is no way somebody could break into your unit without them knowing. They keep the grounds very well kept up. They are by far the most reasonable rate in town and i wouldn't trust anybody else with my personal belongings. read more

Very, very clean facility. I spoke with Dave? Or Don? On the phone and he was great. I guess it was the owner who helped me when I came in! Very nice Lady. This is the only facility I have seen that has a theme, so cute ! Their prices are the best I have seen. So not only do they promise to never raise your rate, but you aren't forced into buying some third party insurance you won't need either. I love this place and the staff!! read more

I have used Valley Rose since 2010, and highly recommend them. All of their units are indoors, and are in an overall very secure facility. Other reviews have mentioned the professionalism and courtesy of the staff, and I have to add that I completely agree with them. Mary and Naomi always greet me and other renters by first name, and are always asking how my day is going. My monthly rent has never increased, a definite plus. read more
