I had to return a package via FedEx. She scanned it in, and said to me, "Here is your tracking number, DON'T LOSE IT". i could not believe the way she talked to me. She quickly called over the next customer to get rid of me. This is not the first time I have experienced poor service in this store, they obviously don't care how they treat their customers. Do yourself a favor and don't go to AIM Mail Center. There are other mail centers downtown Sebastopol. read more

Drover 45 minutes for them to tell me that they will not accept Fedex packages with QR codes because they "don't have a qr scanner" I drove another 20 minutes to a Fedex in Santa Rosa who infromed me that every mail place that has Fedex is a certified Fedex shop and all have a QR reader. She was clearly lying because she doesn't want to deal with customers she isn't profiting from. Shame on them. read more

DO NOT GET YOUR PASSPORT PHOTOS TAKEN HERE! AIM Mail Center does not stay up to date on the appropriate dimensions for passport photos, and then refused to provide a refund after the photos were rejected by the US Post Office during the application process. The photos they took were cropped so that the head height wasn't standard for a passport, and AIM's response was to accuse the post office of intentionally declining photos taken by a non-postal entity in order to make more money, which is a baseless claim. I was surprised by the unprofessional response. The Post Office will take your photo with the appropriate dimensions, and they're a few dollars cheaper. read more

My wife mailed a 4.5 pound package UPS ground to Miami. Aim charged $97 including the box $5. She said that seemed high but they claimed that was what UPS charged. I send an 8 pound package the next day to Virginia UPS ground - at the UPS store for $45. Same size box. Don't ship out of here. read more

I was charged over $100 for a service that was not performed. My most recent experience here will have me going elsewhere for my shipping needs. I intended to ship a letter internationally, the letter that I handed to the clerk was not actually put into the FedEx envelope, and my letter was never shipped. I never actually handled the FedEx envelope. When asked "is there anything else you need to ship today" I said "no" assuming that the letter that I handed over at the start of the process was put where it was supposed to be by the person loading, sealing and shipping the actual package. The manager and the owner both refused to refund ANY of the cost of the service, stating that "I am the one who is completely at fault", even though I never handled the actual FedEx package! Sure, maybe I could have double-checked but the clerk could have also, seeing as the package is in their hands! Even when I accepted part of the blame and requested a partial refund, I was also promptly denied by the owner and the manager. $0 refund. NOT Professional! Will not return. read more

I come here often since it's right around the corner from my house. This place only gets two stars because 3/4ths of the employees here are TOTAL BUTTHEADS. Yes I said buttheads, which mean's this is serious stuff. I came in here one day in a total rush and flustered. I had no printer ink and needed to print out a copy of my insurance before going to the DMV later that day. But for some reason the insurance companies fax wasn't coming through. I asked the lady at the counter "uh....does this happen often? Do you have any suggestions?" Lady: "No, faxes work all the time. Just not yours I guess. And no I don't have any suggestions." Me: "ummmm......." I was so offended I ended up leaving and dealing with the issue myself. I was pretty turned off by that experience so I didn't go in for awhile until last week I had used their website to file upload and when I got to the place the girl at the counter said "you know when you use file upload I have to do a lot more work and uh yeah, can you just send it from your phone?" I just couldn't believe she said that! So I left, went home and resent the document from an email! Thankfully I live five minutes away, but still, incredbibly rude. When I came in the next lady was super sweet and was ready to help me, while the previous lady just stared into space picking her nose. (well maybe she didn't pick her nose, but she might as well have. ) So basically, this place has maybe two good employees who make it still worth it to go when I really need to send something, but the other ones would be better off at Wal-Mart greeters! read more

I am honestly very surprised to see how many negative reviews this place has gotten. Every Time I have gone in there, I have gotten great service and extra help and tips on things that I can do to save money for my business. The only rude, stupid, or unfriendly encounters I have witnessed have been from rude, stupid or unfriendly customers. You know the employees don't set the shipping rates correct? So when you are surprised that, yes, it does actually cost that much to ship a heavy, breakable object filled with alcohol across state lines, don't be a dick and start swearing at the nice people who are giving you the information. This has become my go to spot for shipping on Sebastopol for several years. It might not always be the cheapest, but it's the friendliest. read more

I absolutely love this business. I have shipped many packages to my family on the east coast with their help. They always find me the best price and if I don't understand something (i.e. Why that's the best price or time+distance+package= what cost) they will explain it to me. I also have a mailbox at AIM. It's incredibly convenient. They sign for my packages and certified mail which really helps since I work up to 70 hrs a week and can't be home for those things. Then they email me when a package arrives. Did I mention the customer service? Always incredible. You can tell these people really care about their customers and they know what they're doing! The owners are kind, honest and very reasonable. These guys make my life as easy as possible. I'm a life time customer here. read more

These people are bad at entering data into a computer, and are bad problem-solvers! A family member brought in some packages to be shipped to me within the state, Media Mail. The correct address was written in sharpie (386) on the top of the boxes and the women who helped entered a wrong address (306) and did not double check what she has just done. The packages got sent out with the wrong address! In trying to resolve this issue and locate the 3rd of three boxes, (two of them made thanks to the insight of my new local post office and carriers who saw the correct address in sharpie), the owner and people at AIM mail center have been awful. When I call and try to tell her she needs to resolve the issue she acts like I am the asshole. Used this mail center many times before but never again. This mistake is unacceptable and the action taken to resolve it has been nil if any. read more

I use Aim Mail Centet all the time. Living in the country it's inconvenient to have packages delivered. I know I can trust them to take care of any packages I may have coming and to help me get my items ready to ship out as needed. They even send me an email when I have something to pick up. The staff is really super friendly and very accommodating, very Sebastopol :-). Not to mention hard working! I don't usually use the copier, notary, or fax service but I know where I can get such service if needed. I've been a customer there for 15+ years and will continue to be. read more

Highly recommended. I have shipped from this store time and time again, and they always employ that blend of professionalism and friendliness that we all hope for. They'll add tape to your package, take a prepaid drop-off cheerfully and keep accurate records of frequently-used addresses. Brought a large package here that needed to be mailed to an international customer. Aim Mail Center mailed it via DHL, and charged me quite a lot for doing so. Okay, I thought to myself, that's the price of convenience & having a professional do it for you. Boy was I wrong. Got a call from the International carrier a few days later, telling me my package is stuck in customs because Aim Mail Center didn't do the paperwork correctly, and didn't do some of the required paperwork AT ALL! It took me seven days, numerous phone calls to the carrier, and finally having to fill out new paperwork for customs before my international customers package could be delivered. And, to top it all off - while I was on the phone with the international carrier, I was curious about the amount Aim Mail Center charged me, so I asked the carrier for a price quote for dealing with them directly. Aim Mail Center charged me over $250.00 to mail my package, and if I would have gone directly to the carrier, the cost would have been $70.00. It's bad enough that they charged me almost FOUR TIMES what it actually cost, but then THEY COULDN'T EVEN GET THE PAPERWORK RIGHT! This was an expensive lesson learned for me. And what did I learn? On Thursday, December 19th, 2013, my Mother used AIM Mail Center of Sebastopol, CA to ship my Christmas gifts to me. My Mom paid for 2 day shipping to ensure that my gifts would arrive to me before Christmas. On Saturday, December 21st, 2013, I received a box that was addressed to me with a return address from my Mother; however, when I opened the box the gifts inside were addressed to the Aunt and Uncle of an unknown family. I was able to locate and contact the family and arrange to have the gifts mailed to the proper recipients. When I spoke to the lady of the house who mailed the gifts to her aunt and uncle she confirmed that she too used AIM mail service. The woman, that both my mother and the lady of the house dealt with at AIM, assured both ladies that she would box up the gifts and label them accordingly. When I called the owner of AIM mail center on Monday, December 23, 2013, the owner was very rude and hostile towards me. She would not identify herself as the owner until after I identified myself as an Attorney. I explained to the owner that because of someone in her shops negligence I would not be receiving my gifts on time and I was having to go out of my way to ship the gifts to the right individuals. I requested that the owner credit my Mother's account the $10.60 it cost me in postage to correct their mistake. The owner became increasingly rude and at one point told me to "shut up." I was appalled at the lack of professionalism coming from a business owner. It is indisputable that it was AIM Mail Center's fault that the packages were mixed up. Requesting $10.60 be credited to an account to compensate for postage to correct their mistake is not unreasonable. What is unreasonable is being treated with utter disrespect by the owner of a "professional" establishment. It is Christmas and her business messed up, an apology and $10.60 is all that it would have taken to resolve this matter. If you want to ensure that your package gets to the correct recipient I suggest you use a different mail center. read more

Customer service is going down hill. I have used this store for a very long time. They are in the heart of the Russian River Valley wine region and can't get out of their own way to serve the wine industry. They let their pick up drivers dictate protocol. Please call your FedEx rep and get your act together. Staff is weak and frustrating. Used to see the owners working all the time ....unfortunately not lately. They have driven me to the UPS store in town and forced me to drive to Santa Rosa for FedEx. read more
