Watch out. The customer service is terrible. Yesterday I had to return a package. The clerk acted as if I was bothering her, and handed me a slip and said in the rudest voice "Here is your tracking number DON'T LOSE IT". I have never been treated like that before. The ladies at A&M saved my Christmas today! I ran out of time to ship my gifts before leaving for the airport today, so I called A&M with a desperate plea. The owner not only said come on over, she also got my info while I was driving so she'd be ready for me. When I got there they worked fast to pack and ship TWELVE boxes all over the country for the best rates possible, and I was out of there in minutes. Thank you so much ladies! read more

This used to be a great place to ship packages but no more. I have had several bad experiences with the woman with an accent mentioned in other reviews. If her business plan is to drive as many repeat customers away as possible she is very successful. There is a place at the other end of town that provides a similar service. Update to my last review. BAD BUSINESS! BEWARE!! I GOT COMPLETELY TIPPED OFF BY THE OWNER. If we weren't talking about less than $20, I'd do something more about it than just this review. I thought it was an extremely rude, disgruntled employee that waited on me and have since discovered that it was the owner. I was nothing but nice and have no idea what prompted her unacceptable behavior. I was shipping a 2 lb. package, said it wasn't a rush, and that I wanted the least expensive method. unfortunately, I didn't have time to figure out an estimate beforehand. I was charged $26 via USPS for an approximately 2 pound package that I've since learned could have been shipped by UPS or USPS for half that amount!! I asked her TWICE if that was right and if that was the least expensive method. (I paid cash.) Unfortunately, I was in a hurry and was so disturbed by the rudeness of the owner that I just said ok, paid it, and left, forgetting to even get a receipt. She just handed me a tracking number. I SO wish I'd have gotten the receipt and am surprised she didn't just steal the whole package. I will drive to Petaluma before I will ever go there again. I try to support local businesses, but I hope this one fails and the employees get better jobs working for a decent person. This business deserves zero stars. read more

I just had the worst experience at the A&M Center in Sebastopol trying to ship a package. The owner was totally rude. It was as if she did not want my business. She was extremely negative about the sizes of boxes available. When I asked the price she would not even weigh my package and said it would be $25. I went across the street to the UPS store and it was $12.50. This woman, who is the owner, should not be in business. I will never go back and would recommend to anyone to stay away. Positive reviews must be by family or they dealt with the employee. read more

I just came back from dropping off a box to be sent to my daughter in San Diego. The women that helped me was soooo rude! She told me to stand in the corner while she finished taping up a box, labeled it, and went in the back to do something...leaving me in the corner for over 10 minutes. No "Please wait while I finish this, nothing. Then she asked me if I'd ever been there before. I told her I had not, and she mumbled something to herself, handed me a piece of paper and told me to write down my information. I did so, handed the paper back to her and she said, "Do you have an ID?". I said, "Yes, but why do you need my ID?" She looked at me with disgust and said, "I don't know who you are." If I wasn't in a hurry, I would have walked out and gone right down the road to the other mail center. She never smiled, or looked at me from that point on. She took my money, put my box on the floor, and walked off... I will never go back to this place again, EVER!!! read more

This place has some of the best customer service in sebastopol, which is so hard to come by these days anywhere. The owner is the best person to work with, and she's very helpful. If you don't know how to do it yourself, she's always happy to lend you a helping hand. I'm not here that often, but when I am, I'm always glad this business is here for me. I have used them for 16 years as they are much more helpful, kind and efficient than the AIM store in Sebastopol. Friendly local real Sebastopol people who will take the time to talk to you like everyone did years ago. They will pack your item, wrap, weigh then look at the cheapest best route and recommend for you. They have gone out of their way to drop a prepaid package off to the Post office a few blocks away. You won't get that kind of help at the AIM or UPS store. They carry nice cards and office supplies and rent mail boxes, read more

1 star for the hippy-dippy, dirty & run down set up. A little bit of attitude mixed with a put-out "our notary service hours are noted in the window..." Sebastopol is smaaaaall - it's probably better to be nice & accommodating than exclusive & bitter. I expect this type of 'tude across the street @ the post office - not @ a small business. This is a great little store with everything you need for your mailing needs, including a self-serve photocopier. The staff are approachable and helpful. There's rarely a line and I always leave satisfied. They've been here a long time and have really established niche for themselves. read more
