Leaves much to be desired. First, they should install a sign out front. Even though this is on the main street through town, it's hard to find unless know the address. Second, they had only one person working there at 4:00 in the afternoon. Third, everything seems a bit off. It's like they just moved in and haven't decorated the place. Kinda like the copy shop in Better Call Saul or the movie Napoleon Dynamite. One thing that blew my mind was the advice offered by the clerk to the person in front of me. She was shipping a parcel internationally. When I went in today, I had several things to be done. There were two guys working, one was sorting mail, and the one behind the counter was helping me with a package to be mailed, some laminating, and a fax that would not go through. He was so polite and managed to help two other customers while helping me. I work in San Rafael, and have been using their USPS, which I dread. Now that I have been to this UPS store, I know I can get everything I need right in my own backyard! I was especially pleased to know they do laminating, as I thought I would have to find a print store. I don't normally review these kinds of places, but for young man at the desk Trey, I did! And for good reason. These poor places are overrun with the by-products of our Amazon addiction! We had several Amazon returns that according to Amazon were eligible for "consolidation" which means that we don't have to pack them up at home...we just show a code to the UPS store and they put it all in one big box. This is supposed to make all of our lives easier, but it did not! Out of about 8 different items that Amazon had encouraged us to do this way, about half failed when Trey scanned our code, so that meant that we had to buy boxes and then he had to pack them individually, all the while the store not really getting any $$ from Amazon and taking up time for us all. If only Amazon had told us correctly which needed to be packed at home and which could go to the UPS store naked, we would have been fine. Trey did all the work without complaining and we got our stuff back to Amazon. Thanks read more

I had been to Sonoma with friends from out of state who bought a bunch of wine. The folks at Gratton Ridge winery told us that this UPS store could ship to Philadelphia. Unfortunately for us, they were closed on Saturday when we got there at 5. I called many UPS stores in the SF area. None of them ship alcohol. So today, I drove to Sebastopol. This UPS store has the license and whatever to ship wine. Only one staff member on duty, Gretchen, but she couldn't have been nicer and helpful. There was a party ahead of us, and Gretchen kept apologizing for the delay. I was fine with waiting as her customer service is excellent. I've also learned my lesson. If friends need to ship wine, we'll hightail it back to this store before they close to send their wines out of state. read more

Wow...... So this shop just ruined my whole trip to California.... Before leaving Florida I called to make sure that I could have some car parts shipped to the store for pickup Monday or Tuesday, parts needed urgently to make a vehicle road worthy, for a job a out here. These parts are special order only and take considerable time to receive.... The young girl I spoke to on the phone ensured me that it would be okay to have the parts shipped to their store for a pickup today, even if I wasn't a customer with a P.O. Box there.... Upon receiving my packages they shipped them back to sender.... Whole trip officially ruined.... Thank you so much! This UPS STORE is great! I have used it for printing, I just email it to them and they have it ready to print. And are used them today to return something to Amazon and it's totally seamless, they just scan the code and I don't need a box or any kind of packaging! Jasmine is very helpful and pleasant at the front desk, and Gretchen has help me with my printing needs. The space is not large but used very efficiently, and they observe all the social distancing practices and everyone must wear a mask. You must wait outside to not crowd the store but the line moves very quickly because these people are on point-- they are quick and efficient! I absolutely recommend them, whether you are shipping something, dropping off a UPS pre-printed item, need a mailbox or any of their other services. I am usually disappointed with many places and Sebastopol, but this place is great every single time. Everyone is professional and has a good attitude. I made sure to take their names, because I know a lot of people only leave reviews when they are upset, but especially during these trying times with a pandemic, they are truly a good experience. read more

There were 2 peons workin? here when I came in with a big, fat, heavy box. 1 of the local yokels was just standin' there in my way at the counter, jawin' with the 70+ Some Thin' 0ld bag behind the counter, & I had to say 'Excuse Me!' {Thanks to Steve Martin!} just to put my heavy load on top of the counter! Since they were too busy bullshittin' about nuthin', this young dummy came over to help me, maybe 17?, & I just wanted to get rid of my big box & return it to the crooks at amazone for the $160 I overpaid for it in the 1st place! There was no barkin' on main st, so I parked around the corner. The kid had no idea how to track the pack, & had to Butt in between the lines of the 2 0ld geezers that were blabbering away about sumpin'. read more

This place just opened up and I have been coming in quite frequently because of the holidays. The service here is slow but kind. The lady at the counter, Gretchen is nice and always has a smile on her face. She is slow though so it's hard to get in and out fast. The prices here are decent and they do offer many different services. Also the credit/debit machine here is always on the fritz! For being a new business you would think everything would work perfectly. So be prepared to have problems or bring in cash. I would much rather support this business then AIM mailing center which has horrible service. read more

It can be difficult to give such a glowing review without it seeming over the top. But in this case, it is very well deserved! What a surprise this little shop is. I had a very complex, large color copying project to produce manuals for a 9-day workshop! Lots of digital files representing all the different sections and sub-sections, 2-sided color copying throughout most of the manual, section headers single-sided on card stock, other inserts on color paper, everything needed to be collated just right, and of course 3-hole drilled. Oh yeah, and a short timeframe to get it all done. And there was Gretchen calm, professional, friendly, super-helpful! She even put in some overtime (now that's customer service!). The job came out beautifully (best manual the workshop ever had), on time, and at a very fair price. When all the binders were assembled, they then came up with the best and least expensive way to ship them cross country to arrive at the workshop site on time. I can't speak highly enough about my experience here. They've earned me as a very loyal customer. In fact, I'm about to return to print phase II. This UPS store has been processing my shipping needs for over 5 years and has always provided the highest quality service. In addition to shipping they have done my business cards, posters, picture, labels and other reprints and thanks to Gretchen did editing as required. Each shipment is followed up with an email that has tracking numbers and costs making an easy transition to billing my customer. Followup emails are providing verification of the items being received. The owner Bob has effectively addressed rare issues quickly. Highly recommend this location for any shipping needs even when strange packing is required. I stopped in to print a complex 2-sided color booklet, and received prompt and personal attention from Bob, the store owner. I also learned that he's offering the best price for color printing in town, on a brand-new (2013 model) color photocopier. The quality was great, and the convenience was unbeatable. Next time, I'll just email him the PDF file, and pick up the printed items later -- even more convenient. I've had only the one interaction there, but it far exceeded my expectations, saved my neck (from a tight deadline), and saved me money too. I'll definitely be going back. The rudest people work here! I went in at 5:15, the close at 5:30, asked for a notary and was told by both employees they were too tired to do a notary and to come back tomorrow. While I stood there waiting to get my packages the young punk kid that works there had the nerve to ask me if I was mad. He got my mail out of my mail then proceeded to tell me I had a lot of mail and shouldn't take such a long vacation! Total useless people work here! read more

I have been using this UPS store for several years, and found the service to be be excellent. Recently, FedEx lost an overnight package that contained a birth certificate (still somewhere in the Oakland airport FedEx hub!) so I chose to use UPS to resend a copy of the certificate, overnight/saturday delivery. Bob was very patient and created the label -- filling out special instructions so that it would be delivered properly and on time. Suffice it to say, I will never use FedEx again.
