I have such appreciation for Sprint and the people who have been working there for so many years. I have been assisted with my last-minute, rushed, very small projects in the last few months when my home printer has failed me, right at deadlines. First of all, it is great to come into an independent, small shop that has been in business in the same location with the same owners and workers for decades, which is, sadly, growing increasingly rare in Sonoma County. As Sebastopol follows the rest of Sonoma County in becoming a more stressful, congested community, a service such as Sprint's keeps our small-town a friendly place to park, walk, spend money, and do business. Many little things add up to make Sprint a valuable and valued resource in our town. I have always appreciated the local art that they feature on the walls, and the kindness of employees. As the daughter of a printer, I know that printers can be stressed, rushed, and pressured by deadlines and impatient customers. I don't comprehend all of the awesome 5 stars on this place. First, I'll start by saying that at first, yes, they were pretty great. They were very fast and competent. Then things got interesting. If you're looking to simply make copies, then yes, this place is good. If, however, you are looking for more of a solid print job on a project - please look elsewhere. These guys take FOREVER to get back to email submissions and contacting you about your project. Also, when they tell you they'll call you when your proof is ready - they won't. I lost count of how many times I had to call them about our proofs only to find out that they were finished and WAITING on me. Lastly - the quality is bullshit. I printed nicer stuff off of my 5 year old Canon Pixma at home. Talk about shitty quality - these guys blow. End rant. read more

Really not great at communication... I emailed them a document a few days ago, and I had to sort of micro manage them to finish a extremely easy job, but they did do it... But today... Are you seriously saying you charge people charge $2.00 EXTRA because they emailed you a document? A $2.00 "Download Fee"?! I was not told about that fee last week when I had a job done.. Is that a surprise charge you sneaked in there, or does it just depend on who's running the printers in that moment? You are a copy shop!!! You are ripping folks off. Absurd. It was the day before my wedding. I was insanely stressed out trying to finish up last minute details and I'd had a HORRIBLE experience at the Rohnert Park Fed Ex Office the night before trying to print out my seating chart, a sign, and some name cards. I stumbled onto Sprint Copy Center thinking I could just buy some card stock there and print out my items at home. They were AMAZING! They let me log onto one of their computers (no charge, unlike Fed Ex Office) to make sure that the font I'd chosen worked on their computers. (It didn't work at Fed Ex and they would have charged me to log on and change it.) They had a good selection of paper, everything they printed looked great, and, for a very small fee they cut up the name tags for me. Their customer service was great and it was such a relief after the hellish experience the night before to get everything done so quickly and easily! Their designer Todd was going on vacation but stayed late to complete my project. He gave feedback about my design and it made a great improvement. I came in to get business cards and Todd was very helpful in explaining what I needed to tweak on my documents before they would work. He was professional and made me feel like an important client. The options were explained well and an exact proof was put in my hands (a cut card) before I walked out of there, something I've never seen before in a print shop. I got my cards in 3 days, good turn around for a busy shop. They even have art from the local high school gracing the walls, its good to see the community involvement. These guys are responsive, professional, experienced and just super nice. They helped me with printing save the date cards for our wedding and could not have been any better! I was in a rush to get the job done and they worked very efficiently and made it all happen very smoothly. My proof was ready the same day I first sprung the idea on them and they were able to incorporate my changes very quickly. I wouldn't recommend waiting til the last minute to do anything, but the folks over at sprint couldn't have been nicer or done a better job, or been more professional about the whole situation. The three stars is for the quality of print job, which is why I went there in the first place. For customer service, I would give them a 2. A lot of hidden fees... $5 to open a file... give me a break. They are already charging high end for print services, they can open a file as part of the fee. So even though they did a good job with my order, I left feeling a bit like my pockets were shaken out. read more

Our cat recently went missing so I decided to come to Sprint to print out missing flyers. I was helped by a woman whose name I believe I heard her name was Jennifer (sorry if I got it wrong). I was charged 30 cents less for the color posters due to the fact that it was a missing pet poster. She even printed an additional copy free of charge to post in the store. I never post yelp reviews but this customer service was so good i couldnt help but think that it deserved a five star review as i walked out of the store. read more

I had a great experience with Sprint Copy Center in Sebastopol, CA. I drove the 45 minutes it takes me to get there from home to pick up a job that they had promised would be ready at 4pm. When I arrived, I was told that the job would be delayed due to a problem they had no control over. (Some of the work had to be subcontracted and the subcontractor had messed up). I was offered the choices to wait until 5:30 while they reworked the job - or - they would deliver it to me. Of course I took the second option and an outstanding employee named Todd drove the hour and thirty minutes round trip, after hours, on his own time to bring me my job. Our dogs got loose so I immediately took a picture I have to Sprint to have posters made. They created posters immediately and when I came back to pick up they had made a bigger poster as a gift! I broke down, shaking and crying as I thanked them. I took the biggest poster to Sebastopol Pet where they immediately posted it. The rest of the posters I posted all over Sebastopol. Very thankful, they were found safely in a fenced in vineyard not being able to get out (how they got in is a mystery). A neighbor recognized our dogs because I walk them on leashes in surrounding areas. Knowing where we lived she told the person and they were waiting for me when I arrived home! I broke down..again...thanked everyone and took them home. I went back to all the places I posted and thanked everyone. Sebastopolians are loving, caring, wonderful people. read more

I had such hopes of giving these folks 5 stars. The women who helped me -- Kelly, Cat, and a third woman -- were pleasant, engaging and helpful. But, when I have tried to find out info from the male staff, the consistent vibe was that they were busy and annoyed (on at least 3-4 separate occasions). An emailed job was overlooked, requiring a trip into see what was going on. Once that was clarified, I showed up 3 days later (for a handful or so of prints) to discover they simply hadn't done the one large format item. No offer to call when it was (finally) done just a curt "come back in 30 minutes." I was hoping this would be a local spot discuss details about photo printing -- which formats work best; which color treatments might be good, thoughts on cropping,etc.; but the sense I had 3-4 times was they did not want to be bothered. We can all goof up, but the attitude makes this a place I won't return to soon. read more

A wonderful experience with Sprint and with Kelly in particular. I have used this store several times in the past 8 years, mostly for small copy jobs and 4 times they have turned some of my small watercolor paintings into Christmas and greeting cards-all completed in a timely, professional manner by employees with a good eye for color, design and proportions. The project I took them 3 weeks ago was larger, a 150 page booklet with writing and some illustrations-many of the pictures were in color but most were black and white. I wanted the booklet spiral bound and I needed it by a certain date. Kelly took on the project, made good suggestions, and made sure nothing was cut off when reproducing-which took some manipulating. She called to let me know when there was a slight delay and remembered that I had a deadline for when I needed my 12 booklets. A small order, but I felt like Kelly took a personal interest in my project...and it turned out beautifully. Thank you, Kelly and Sprint!! read more
