At this point the two employees demanded that I leave the store and called the police to have me removed. I returned shortly after with the box completely taped, but they refused to help me and called the police again, so now I must drive 10 minutes to the next closest store. Joel saved the day, and after emailing him the necessary documents, he had them ready when I stopped by, even though that is not the type of printing they usually do. Such a wonderful example of great customer service. and pure generosity. I hope our current home construction project had our multiple copies of plans for the Healdsburg Permit Office done at Blue, but I will find out and definitely request Blue be used for our next attempt to rejuvenate our 38 year old home. All qualities I was in need of. She rushed my order, did an amazing job blowing up a smaller pixel photo to a large format using computer techniques. A real pro, she was able to tell me what sizes would work according to what we have and what photoshopping can do. We decided on something , I ran to get a frame, and she put the whole thing together, charging hardly anything for all the things-- rush job, putting the finished product into the matting and frame, etc. I also met her partner (I assume), another woman, and Jennifer told me, "We are a small business, it's just she and me." I haven't had my fingerprints taken in years and the last time, I think I went to the sheriff's office in Marin County and had to return because my prints weren't clear enough. They offer walk-in LiveScan services and the small storefront on the east side of 4th Street was quiet when I dropped by this afternoon. The two employees were chatting pleasantly and greeted me right away when I entered. Rachel spotted the forms in my hand and guessed correctly that I was there to have my fingerprints taken. Sure enough, like I've experienced before, the first try was unsuccessful. I don't have pronounced ridges on my fingers apparently, but they had a gel that she asked me to rub on my hands and the 30 seconds later we were good to go. Second time was the charm! I'm happy to report that my school covered the costs, so I wasn't privy to the charges, but I was in and out in under 10 minutes. I also checked and found that they offer private mailbox services and can ship via UPS, FedEx and DHL, so the next time that I'm on that side of town, I'll definitely remember them!

When I contacted the Santa Rosa office for assistance on 6/22/2026 at 11:14am, I spoke with the rudest woman. I was understandably upset about the situation. Rather than listening or attempting to help, the representative chose to hang up on me. Customers whose packages have been lost are not calling for entertainment, they are calling because FedEx has failed to deliver what was entrusted to them. Hanging up on a customer who is upset and seeking answers is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the company. Mistakes happen. How a company responds to those mistakes is what matters. Unfortunately, this experience demonstrated a troubling lack of professionalism, empathy, and accountability.

I dropped my primary election ballot off here the morning of June 2nd, the day it was due. The…read moreballot was filled out properly, signed, sealed & legal. I asked if their regular outgoing mail had been picked up yet that day, and was told it had not. So it should have been picked up & postmarked on 6.2, making it valid for counting. However, I just received a notice from the California Secretary of State: "Your ballot for the June 2, 2026, Primary Election cannot be counted... because we did not receive your ballot on time." So my ballot was either accidentally (or purposefully?) mishandled by the folks at this UPS store location. Either way, this is beyond disappointing & totally unacceptable. I will not entrust them with anything else.
