I need the drive belt and tensioner in my car changed. I would've done it myself but don't have the proper equipment. I did some thorough research on what parts would cost on it and then called around to find a shop that would do it for a reasonable price. I called a lot and Nick was one of the very few who I found gave me the most honest quote. Some other places wanted to charge me twice as much as he quoted me. And even better, he fit me in on a busy Saturday, telling me the exact time to come so I wouldn't have to wait around too long. His shop was clean, had WiFi and water and Nick and his staff couldn't have been more generous and timely. Finally, it was time for the bill... which to my pleasant surprise was even a little bit less than what my quote. Advanced Auto Care was great. I took my girlfriend's car in for a routine oil change, nothing special. It's a 2013 Hybrid car that only takes full synthetic oil. Nick (owner) was very professional, friendly, and courteous, and so was all of the staff that I met. I walked in at 9am on a friday morning, went to the gym, and my car was done within that time, about 45 mins-an hour. Nick also welcomes you to watch as they perform the work and politely answers whatever questions you have. This is now my go-to shop. The service was fast, professional, and reasonably priced. Advanced Auto Care was fantastic. I am the type of person to look up a lot of reviews and suggestions. Initially I wanted to take my Chevy Equinox to a dealership (Chevy) however most of the feedback was rough, very negative. I started to look at other options and stumbled upon Advanced Auto Care! I used the Yelp site to message AAC about the issue I was having with my vehicle, I had a pretty good idea what the problem was. Nick promptly messaged me back, not only with ball-park pricing but also a suggestion to identify the problem 100%. I used his suggestion the problem was confirmed! We were both on the same page, and quoted ball-park pricing ahead of time. It's nice to have a ballpark idea of what the repair/part/labor will be instead of a big surprise. Peace of mind and less surprises. Took the vehicle in, for him and his team to check it out. They once again confirmed the problem. Called me to confirm the price and part options (stock/aftermarket/etc). Few hours later I got a call that the part has been changed, and the problem has been solved! All handled within half a days work basically. Awesome. I was stressing hard over this because it was a repair that while not critical to the vehicle running, was an annoyance and needed to be handled. I have been looking for a great mechanic in Los Angeles for literally a decade. Fingers crossed, but I think I finally found the one! Nick is great to work with - very up front with estimates, and bends over backwards to make you feel comfortable. A few highlights: -I contacted him over Yelp, and got a response in under an hour. -I already had OBD2 error codes from the car's computer. He didn't question them or try to talk around them, he started from the assumption that I was correct and estimated work based on them. That means a lot; most mechanics are not that way when dealing with female customers. -When I arrived, he personally walked me up to the waiting area, turned on a fan (September in LA is no joke), inquired about my TV preferences, and gave me a wifi password. -When it looked like repairs would take a little longer than expected, he drove me back to my office so I wouldn't be late for a meeting. -Offered to review any future OBD2 codes I might have via text or Yelp message, to save me a drive if nothing is wrong. -Price was very reasonable, especially with the Yelp deal read more

Nick made a great effort to fix my problem when my Ford Mustang overheated on my way to work in Glendale by offering to tow my vehicle to the Advanced Auto Care facility nearby. Once it cooled off, I drove it over to his shop where he and his crew began looking over it immediately. The found the Electric radiator fan was broken, but that was only part of the problem. Once fixed, he continued trouble shooting the cooling system which was running Hot still. After an overnight stay the Thermostat and the coolant sensor were found to be defected. They replaced them without any additional major repairs. He even UBER'd me back to work when I initially dropped it off !!! Highly recommended for service ! read more

Ok if you want to seriously have your car fixed without the usual adding problems and sticking it to you at the end let me tell about Advanced auto care first off the workers are experienced and the right team cohesively work great. The employees all know how to fix anything the team consists of older experienced mechanics. The owner is always there well when I've been there one time he goes out of his way, to get a part from auto zone across the street and buying a part my car needed. I don't even think it was repair just something that was annoying me. He wouldn't charge me for it. Saying it was nothing. The wait time is fast because the minute you pull in, that car is ready to be fixed the job is impeccable the environment is serious everything is done in front of you so if you need synthetic oil you will get synthetic oil. If you aren't sure if they really cleaned or changed the filter or flushed the oil it's all done in front of you. All cars all kinds go I'm serious all these people can't be wrong and here's the mind bender his prices are affordable like great affordable anyone can afford it. Finding a auto shop you trust is extremely hard, but I promise you won't look any further once you visit advanced auto care. Monday morning my car was out of coolant so I drove it down to the Volkswagen dealer on brand. They pulled the car into service for a quote and my service advisor came out 45 mins later claiming my radiator was busted. Part and labor the dealer was charging roughly $1,100.00. So I yelped a few shops and called advanced auto care. Spoke to Nick, asked if I could take it in for a second opinion and maybe get a aftermarket radiator instead for cheaper. He told me to add water and come down which was only a few blocks away. He quoted me $550.00 with everything including an oil change. I left the car and was told to pick it up the next day. As I got home, I received a call from Nick telling me to come back to the shop because the car was ready. Wait, what???? I just left it. Nick surprised me with the best news, before replacing it he made sure to test and make sure the problem was the radiator, however found out the problem was just the radiator cap's rubber seal. He had picked one up from the dealer and installed it. Test drove the car for about 5 minutes came back handed the key and said your ready. Best of all the damage was only $75.00 with an oil change. These guys are amazing! My 2011 BMW was shaking profusely for the past couple of days. In fact, it actually stopped on me once. When I took my car there, the mechanic quickly told me that 3 of my car's 6 cylinders were not working, so basically I was running with half the machine out! I dropped the car to Nick at around 5ish, and was ready for pickup by 3pm the next dy. He assured me that he fixed the problem and he even test drove the car beforehand to make sure that it was running smoothly. I got the car and I am happy to say that it runs smooth like butter.
