I went to World Famous 4x4 to have Rock Slide Engineering step sliders installed on my Jeep because my wife was complaining she couldn't get in and out easily. (Wait until i move up to 40s!!!) I'm glad I called these guys. They helped me choose the right sliders, I ordered them, brought them in, and the installation was fantastic. Everyone was super nice, and we spent some time talking about future upgrades for the Jeep. They gave me some great recommendations, and I'll definitely be back soon. Big fan of World Famous 4x4! read more

World Famous 4x4 - World famous for a reason! Great work! - Auto Repair Near Me - Burbank, California

Superior customer service and great work! Brought the truck in for a few issues with the suspension and beat tires and ended up doing a full on facelift by adding new rims & tires as well as total suspension change. Worked with the Henrik, Cortney and Sierra diligently to complete this transformation in the best way possible and the results?...looks and drives fantastic! The amount of care and respect this shop has for its customers is barnone. They provided excellent communication, patiently addressed needed tweaks, honored warranty covered work attentively & promptly and also made numerous unprompted followups post-service that really exemplifies the values they stand for. Really happy to have found this wonderful group of humans! read more

Henrik and team are awesome. They helped us deliver the best Christmas present ever and they worked around the clock and outside normal hours to get it done. We picked up a new Jeep Wrangler four days before Christmas and the team at World Famous met us on a Sunday (when they were closed) to drop it off, ordered the parts and had it ready for a special pickup on Christmas Eve when they were closed. I've had Jeeps since 1985 and Henrik and team KNOW what they are doing. No haggling, no up charges, no BS... straight talk, good recommendations and quality, on time work. I've made the mistake of going to the chain places like 4 Wheel Auto Parts and was always dissatisfied and felt ripped off. Never again. Got the bumper and winch on before Christmas and already setup to go back for the KC light bar and new tires and wheels! Don't waste your time. Feel good about calling Henrik. Tell him what you want and he will get you a straight answer on how long and how much. read more

impressed from drop off to pick up. My 1997 Dodge 2500 4x4 was is dire need of a clutch. So happy I took it here. Every thing was explained, price, time to complete, parts to be used etc. They delivered on all. Friendly, and honest, which I feel is hard to find nowadays in a shop. They have the most amazing vintage 4x4's getting work done, you can see attention to detail is a priority. Thanks again to the team for getting me back on the road!!!! read more

This place is awesome and honestly so happy we found them. Our Jeep was rear ended and had to have a bunch of work done and we had those repairs done at a different body shop. When we got the Jeep back it was still making a noise and the 2 body shops had a hard time pin pointing the issue so this became a big headache . So, long story short I independently found and took it to World Famous 4x4 they were able to find the issue instantly and got the Jeep in and repaired quickly. I 100% recommend this place. They are kind , professional, knowledgeable and communicated every step of the way! I will be back when I am ready to do some upgrades on the Jeep ! Thank yall !! read more

World Famous 4x4 completely exceeded my expectations. From the start, the owner was incredibly friendly and easy to work with. I'm not a suspension expert, but I did enough research to have the conversation -- and every recommendation he made was absolutely spot on. It was clear he genuinely cared about how my Jeep would look and perform, and that it represented the quality of his work. Communication was excellent from the first email. Once the parts arrived, they gave me a two-day estimate. When I dropped the Jeep off, the lot was packed with vehicles waiting -- yet mine went straight into a bay immediately. Then came the surprise: I got a call later that same evening saying the Jeep was already finished. They even offered to deliver it to me that night across Los Angeles. That level of service is rare. All expectations were not just met -- they were exceeded. I'm not just a happy customer, I'm a walking advertisement. If you're looking for 4x4 work done right, this is the place. read more

I own a Ram 6.7 L Cummins 2500 with 130k miles. The ride was getting rough and I could feel every bump through the steering wheel. I asked to make the ride of the truck and steering feel like a new again. World Famous 4x4 made it happen. I've had the truck for 8 years and it feels like I'm test driving one off the lot. The steering is smooth and firm and I seek out potholes and bumps instead of avoiding them. Good pricing, was faster than expected, and able to work around my busy schedule. Thank you Clay read more

I had taken my truck to 3 different off road shops to repair the initial lift problems. No one was able to fix it. I wanted to sell my truck. One talk with Henrik and he knew the issue. Repair it and and suggested a small upgrade to enhance the ride. My 3500 drives so smooth. What a difference it it to go to someone with such experience and care of the customer. He really has your best interest in mind. I wish i had gone to him to begin with. read more

I was driving through Burbank when I started having issue with my car. Despite the fact that I was driving a corvette, world famous 4x4 was around the corner from me. I pulled up and the owner Henrik greeted me at the driveway. He had one of his guys plug into my OBD2 reader and tell me what was wrong with my car. Very friendly, honest and knowledgeable staff. Thank you for the help! read more

Recently bought an '82 Jeep CJ-7 and after a couple disappointing false starts with other shops, I was luckily referred to World Famous. The owner Henrik really knows his stuff and answered all my new-to-vintage-Jeep questions straight off the cuff. A longtime owner of old Jeeps and Broncos himself, he gave me sound advice on what was and wasn't worth pursuing repair-wise. My first time through, one of the after-market items I bought and had installed failed to work properly. Not only did Henrik find a replacement, but he had it switched out at no additional cost. A classy move, and one that reaffirmed my belief that I had found the right place, and sealed my loyalty going forward. read more

These guys have mastered their craft. Was looking to prep the Super Duty for a cross country trip with off some road mixed in. I had a some thoughts on what I needed, but wasn't sure if it would work. Henrik took one look at my truck/situation and immediately knew what I needed. He showed me around his shop and described what equipment/tires have worked best in the past. He ordered me larger tires that would work with my driving style. Needless to say it was painless, and he made the whole process pleasant. If you want it done right, try them out. read more

Excellent and fast work. I ordered an aftermarket exhaust for my truck and the people I ordered my exhaust from did not include exhaust tip clamps. The owner Henrick went out of his way to order me clamps that arrived the next day. Something he didn't have to do but did anyway. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I'm very pleased with everything and I have no complaints. All around amazing work. read more

Nitto Trail Grappler Tires and a TerraFlex Delta Bake Kit were exactly what my Jeep needed to traverse Death Valley during the heavy rains and subsequent mud early this January. The quality of service was a breath of fresh air compared to dealing with some of the chain off road shops. The moment I walked into the lobby I was greeted by the friendly receptionist who answered my questions and quickly began processing my build. As I was waiting the owner Henrik spoke with me about my build. He was super cool and recommended the Nitto Trail Grappler Tires over what I had originally intended on purchasing. After the Death Valley trip I am glad I went with Henrik's recommendation on the tires. Super cool shop with competitive prices and an overall cool vibe. I really needed a better solution for replacing a damaged, plastic front bumper & lights on my Toyota truck and Henrik from World Famous 4X4 quickly came up with several great options. This company ordered more appropriate parts, scheduled me to come into the shop, installed a custom wrap around steel bumper & misc. parts, got the job done in one day, an came in under my limited budget!
