I don't write many reviews, but Rick's Classic Muscle Garage absolutely earned this one. Entrusting a rare 1968 Shelby GT350 to any shop is a big decision. After researching several restoration shops, I'm incredibly glad I chose Rick's Classic Muscle Garage. From day one, Rick and his team set clear expectations, communicated consistently throughout the process, and always followed through on what they promised. In the classic car world, that level of honesty and communication is hard to find. The timeline ended up being a little longer than originally expected, but with a car like this, quality should always come before speed. Great work takes patience, and I'd rather have a job done right than rushed. The end result was absolutely worth the wait. The amount of attention to detail was impressive. They installed a Borgeson power steering system, added Vintage Air A/C, replaced my tires, upgraded the alternator and battery, replaced the fuel pump, reconditioned my interior seats, and performed bodywork on my hood scoop. Every item was completed with care, and the car now drives, looks, and feels significantly better while maintaining its classic character. What really stood out was their integrity. They even took care of a few additional items at no charge simply because they wanted the car to leave the shop in the best condition possible. That speaks volumes about the kind of people they are. Rick's Classic Muscle Garage is a true family-owned, mom-and-pop business, and you can feel that in the way they treat their customers. They genuinely care about their work, their reputation, and the relationships they build. Unlike some restoration shops that dramatically increase prices simply because they're working on a rare or valuable vehicle, Rick's pricing was fair and honest. So, I noticed last weekend that Rick's team (Rick?) had polished the starter I had in there. I was there initially to replace it, but he told me it was still good. I have sent Rick many clients and even my car, the Lincoln continental. I have to say his service is incredible. Attention to details is hit top priority. All Rick does is go above and beyond the call of duty! He really cares about his work, and his team is the best. Gina and Rick are incredible and nothing but the best words for their work. I walked in without an appointment with more than a few projects out of my depth, and despite having a waitlist, Rick and his team still made my truck a priority that same day. So far they've handled a tune-up, radiator replacement, front brake disc conversion and rear brake job, Saginaw power-steering swap, and more, and every single job has been turned around insanely fast without sacrificing quality, all while offering extremely fair pricing for the level of expertise. Communication has been excellent throughout, the whole crew (techs and front desk) is genuinely kind and easy to work with, and the pricing is insanely fair for the level of expertise and speed. It's been difficult to find a shop around Burbank that doesn't drag projects out for weeks or months and is this transparent about the work, the pricing, and expectations. Rick and his team obviously care about what they're building and who they're building it for. Can't recommend enough to anyone in the lower valley. read more

I had Rick do work on my car with the expectation that is would fun well, it needed a good deal of work but in the end it didn't run as promised. Also, original estimate to get the car running was $3K, "we can get it up and running for 3K" well it ended up costing $5K and I ended up having to have the work done over where I was informed that the fan replacement was cheap and ineffective. They quote you the amount, and they will charge you double when your car is ready. I was charged for a new carburetor and had to get it rebuilt two months after installation. The carb shop said the Holley was opened before and was messed with. They also installed these straight spark plug wires instead of the 90-degree wires and had to throw their wires in the trash: good people but awful ideas on how to fix classic cars. read more

Came in for a quick brake service since i needed it really bad as it was scraping my rotors. The spot is behind the street at the alley side, Very accomodating, he even replaced my rear brakes after the front ones after finding out that it theyre bad and has to be replaced.
