Full-sized matching spares are rare for many vehicles because of donut spares & inflator/repair kits, nevertheless, old habits die hard. We recently retrieved the eBay reconditioned OEM wheel after powder-coating, installing the TPM, mounting & balancing the matching Continental tire. Now all 5 wheels match. Sam & Ervin did an amazing job for a reasonable price...full-size spare project completed.
If you have a high end car and are trying to find the best place, and I mean THE BEST place in all of Southern CA to trust for any sort of wheel modifications or brake caliper color changes take it to Sam at Alpha AutoSports. There is a reason the reviews are all 5 star. Yes they are that good! I had my brake calipers painted from black to red on my new Lexus LC 500 and they look OEM from the factory with the Lexus logos EXACTLY the same as the OEM parts. What's more is Sam and his team take the time to prep the vehicle to protect every inch of the paint and vehicle since they don't remove the calipers from the vehicle. That's a huge plus because it eliminates all the risk of reassembly. They are also priced fairly and the turnaround time is unbelievable. I was shocked when he said he could get the vehicle done same day if I got it there first thing in the morning. After the epic job he did with my calipers on the LC 500 I took my 2011 Lexus LX 570 there as well to have the rusted out calipers sprayed to a silver and plan to also have Sam and his team redo the wheels to look original factory. The last company I took the wheels to have powder coated did a horrible job. Sam is going to remove that powder coating and fix their mistake. I'm confident the job will be just as perfect as the last. I did hours and hours of research on finding the right place and Alpha AutoSports absolutely knocked it out of the park. If you are out of state I would even recommend Alpha AutoSports. Spend the money to have your car trailered to them. You will be glad you did. Alpha AutoSports is the best of the best bar none. A+++
The owner, Sam, was very tuned in to what I wanted on my brand new red 2026 Honda Odyssey. He made a couple of suggestions for the wrap on the chrome trim and one of them was perfect! He also did an all-black powder coating on the rims and the whole van looks sick! He is a perfectionist and the quality shows! Thanks Sam!
Just wanted to personally recommend the Alpha AutoSports team. Sev was awesome to work with and answered every question I had about getting some work done on my SLK55 AMG. I got new tires, powercoat wheels satin black, balance & 4 wheel alignment. Also, Sev was able to discover one of my wheels was slightly dented, and was able to round out the wheel and fix the issue. Cannot recommend them enough as not only does my SLK drive great, but is a showstopper with the awesome satin black job the guys did. Thanks again Sev and team!
Thank you Sam and the team at Alpha AutoSports! Called to get a quote which ended up being wayyyyyyy better than most wheel places in LA (by at least $500) which included ton of work on my wheels, and tinting ceramic film on all my windows. They repaired my wheels, curb damage and existing scratches that had been on em. Sam had the wheels stripped down, sandblasted, powder coated to gloss black and then ceramic coated them. He swapped out my tires, balanced and mounted them, along with fixing my TPMS (tire sensors) and the sensor light on my dash. His employee even cleaned up my old wheels and tire "shined" my old tires (and new ones). Amazing work, amazing price compared to a lot of other paces (including my ceramic window tints). I dropped off the truck in the morning and had it picked up by the end of the evening! Thanks brother man! Appreciate the amount of time you guys put into a basic truck like this!
Had original OEM wheels and calipers on my 1999 Camaro powder coated and ceramic coated today. WOW ...what difference. Check out the pics. I have been looking around for some time to either buy new wheels or have my original wheels refurbished. After checking out a number of places for both, I got a text from Sam at Alpha. He provided me with all the information necessary to help make an informed decision. He was up front with the services he would be providing and a reasonable quote. I had some concerns about matching the OEM color of the wheels and the car. Sam invited me to meet with him and we would go through swatches to select the correct colors. Sam suggested a silver color that is nearly identical to the Chevrolet OEM paint color code. He even added a dusting of metallic flake, to the color that is in the Chevrolet color. Once the colors were selected, his very professional team began the process by totally encapsulating the car in plastic to ensure nothing got on my paint. After removing the wheels, the tires were dismounted and the wheels were sand blasted to remove the old paint and any blemishes. Additionally any rash was removed. After the first wheel was done, Sam brought it to me to show me the difference. It looked incredible even without the color added yet. Finally the wheels were powder coated and ceramic coated. After the first one Sam once again brought it out for me to see. It looked like a GM wheel brand new off the factory floor!! While that was happening, his team was taking care of the brake calipers. The red color applied was as close as a perfect match to the color of the car. Once the wheels were done the tires were remounted and balanced to the correct balancing specs. It took Sam and his team 5 hours from start to finish to get everything done. I want to be sure to point out that the location / garage is very organized. Other garages I went to were dirty and disheveled. Didn't provide much confidence. However, Alpha's garage and office are clean and organized. If you are in need of a professional garage to powder coat your wheels, do not hesitate to give Alpha a call and speak to Sam to set up an appointment to get them done. Great job guys!!
Top-notch experience getting the brake calipers painted on my 2012 McLaren in the midst of one of our worst local emergencies. Sam responded to my initial voicemail immediately and we scheduled an appointment to bring in my car. After deciding on a color and brand script, Sam recommended ceramic coating the final finish. Ceramic coating has been very helpful as it keeps break dust from embedding into the paint even after the surface is heated from normal use. I will be bringing Alpha Auto Sports more projects for my car and I strongly recommend that you do as well.
Fantastic experience with Sam & the guys at Alpha. It's sad that in todays world service based businesses almost always fall short... this was not the case. Far from it. Sam gave me a quick quote for my full chrome delete, tint, powder coating the wheels, and instal a new grill. 2 day turnaround and I'm beyond happy with the results. 5 stars to these guys - will be back 100%
Sam is the man. Professional, thorough, patient and super accommodating at every step of the way. He took the time to explain to me the process of powder coating, different options I had in terms of wheel finish (matte, satin or gloss), accurate turnaround times and worked with me fairly on pricing. The work was A+ and I could not be happier with the finished product on my ZL1. He's also a very friendly and personable guy -- so pleasant to deal with. While I didn't get my calipers painted or anything ceramic coated, Sam did inform me that those are services Alpha Autosports performs as well. So good to know for future reference!
Alpha AutoSport repaired our dented 20" wheel off of a BMW 5 series. I also had them repair some curb rash while he had it. They were up front and honest about the cost and provided very reasonable pricing for all the work involved. The job was completed promptly and communication was consistent all the time they had my wheel. Got the wheel back and it looks good as new. Thank you Alpha AutoSport!
These guys are great. I Just got my brand new Tesla done, Powder Coated the stock Juniper Crossflow rims in Gloss Black. They pay attention to the details / I also got the rotors painted black and the rims Ceramic coated. All in all - a very fair price , I dropped off car in AM- and picked up later that afternoon. Everything was done and looked great. Go see Sam- they do good work and fair price with quick turnaround and premium service.

What can I say about Sam and Alpha Autosports? FIVE STARS. I took in my '23 Ford Mustang Mach E and had the calipers painted Ford factory Cyber Orange. I had zero concerns with them handling my electric vehicle. The cost was fair - painted calipers ain't cheap - but the quality was worth it. If you're wondering if you should take your car here, DO NOT HESITATE. Make an appointment! read more

When I tell you this place exceeded my expectations, it might be an understatement. I went to 3 different spots before here and wish I just came in first. Sam and his team painted my exhaust tips and calipers and did the most amazing job. The color is so vibrant and smooth. One thing I value in business is transparency and quality and this place came nothing short of that. These guys are going to be big time one day, I already know it. Don't go anywhere else, this is the spot!! Thank you Sam :)) read more

Had an awesome experience with Sam and Cris. Was hoping to make my dad car slightly cooler. This review to show a little change has a big impact on fairly ordinary cars. Looked into alternative options, including PlastiDip and Vinyl wrapping. Don't do it. Both terrible options for wheels and age poorly over time. Reached out to Sam, got a quote and easily scheduled a date. Car dropped off and done same day. Easy. Expertise taken to remount and balance tires. No TPMS issues. Drove off with a much cooler dad car. Work speaks for itself, huge before and after. read more

TLDR: Alpha Autosports RULES. Sam and Chris are the absolute best! AA is one of the best finds I've ever come across on this site, and I've been legit excited to write this review. I first messaged them through Yelp, with a brief description of what I was looking for, some questions, and photos of each tire. Sam responded shortly afterwards with an estimate and approximate ETA. I made an appointment shortly thereafter, and dropped off my car a few days later. When I arrived, Chris went through the whole painting process and what to expect. Sam followed up with some truly smart and practical recommendations. I really appreciated not being bombarded with upsells. The ball was always in my court, and Sam was happy to answer any questions. He sent a progress photo, and kept me in the loop on ETA. Communication from inquiry to pickup was a total breeze! The work itself is FANTASTIC! Check the pics! Everything came out so much better than I imagined it would. It's flawless, and really makes this almost 20 year old geezer look like a Petersen showcar. I couldn't be more impressed with Alpha Autosports, this place rules! read more
Sam is the best! I have gotten curb rash fixed with someone else and I wasn't 100% happy with the outcome, LUCKILY I found Alpha AutoSports, sent a message inquiring about pricing and Sam replied almost right away!!!! He thoroughly explained the process and pricing, and got me scheduled right away which is amazing because who wants to drive around with curb rash?! NOT ME! The shop is beautiful and large, so clean, and their work is thorough and efficient. Not to mention they have the best prices for the BEST WORK. Such an honest person and truly cares about his customers satisfaction. They took their time and made sure it was perfect. I couldn't be more happier with the outcome! I will never ever take my Tesla to any other shop. This is my new go to! 10000/10 highly recommend to anyone looking to fix their curb rash or if you have a Tesla, THIS IS THE PLACE to bring it!!!! Thank you so much Sam! By far this will be the best quality and price, trust me I've looked everywhere! I'll definitely have to bring my Tesla back in to get my brake calipers painted! They do so much here, love this place! read more

Sam took care of me and powdercoated all 4 of my wheels gloss black, full service (mount/unmount tire), in one day. This shop is the real deal, we need more honest/thorough shops like this. You can tell he has some pride in his work the way he talks about the process and taking his time. Sam was easy to talk to and super professional. Will definitely be back for future work. His prices are extremely reasonable, highly recommend! read more

I'm writing this review after 3 visits to this hidden Gem. I am a local and I am astounded at the quality of work services and value they deliver. Every staff member from the owner down to the techs, have treated me like a vip client. Tire mounting, rim repairs and caliper restoration with oem finish. The work speaks for itself, did I forget to mention the incredible turn around time! This is your go to shop. Tell them Jay sent you. read more

Outstanding communication, service and pricing from Alpha Autosports. Sam runs a trustworthy business in a market where trust can be hard to find. Appreciate the attention to details in my wheel repair and the immediate availability. Nice looking and clean shop in a good location. I would definitely return for more services and will recommend to others. People that saw the before and after in person are very impressed with quality work, knowing I can be quite particular with my repairs. Thanks, Alpha Autosports read more

Alpha was a huge help in determining my wheel was just not repairable. By putting it on their balancer and seeing the two spots inside and out where I hit a pothole in the freeway, it was just better to purchase a new wheel knowing the structural integrity would be better. They have deep knowledge in repairs and am thankful for this help. I will be coming back for any future wheel repair. read more

Can you do machine finishing rim repair? What's the quote?
If I wanted to get my calipers powder coated, will you rebuild them with new oem seals or is this strictly powder coat only?
Do you offer powder coating for engine bay parts?
Yes we can powder coat anything metal.
Hi I wanted to powder coat my wheels black. Was curious to know how long would it take? Does it require to leave the car? Thank you,
Hello with an appointment it's same day service, (please read reviews) Not sure what the other comment is. Mobile wheel coating is usually just surface paint and not fully prepped.
My rim has a little crack would you guys be able to fix it? If so how much?
It's approximately $125 per rim unless it's unrepairable. However, I would recommend seeking out Dr. Wheel Mobile Service; this is just my personal opinion.
Does the shop have a waiting room/lobby?
How much would it cost to powder coat the faces of my 19" work VSXX's? I want to do a rose gold color
Do you guys powder coat motorcycle parts too? Such as rims and swingarms?
Yes we can do anything Metal/Aluminium
It's a 2018 Mercedes Benz c300 sedan and I also want a quote on a wrap , I want a stripe from bumper to bumper?
Depends on size and color, please contact us with year and model and more info for accurate quote. Thank you!
Do I leave my whole vehicle with you for the powder coating?
Yes full vehicle drop offs are fine.
Do you have a lot of experience using plasti dip on rims and emblems?
Yes we do.
Do you guys hydro dip interior trims?
We unfortunately don’t offer this service.
